  1. The way in which you relate to nature, environment, subtle energies, seasons, etc can have an affect on your being. To what extent I don’t know. There is value in meditating regardless of the direction you have I’d say.
  2. I don’t know the things I haven’t had insight into or have yet to become conscious of.
  3. If you want to access truth you must contradict yourself
  4. True, I don’t really like DMT, though admit it taught me a lot. Totally destroyed any human spirituality. Or, at least as I understand it.
  5. @OBEler I posted a 5 minute breathwork that actually for me created some power changes
  6. 😎
  7. @Rafael Thundercat So, it's saying people have a hidden block, that he can help them unblock and that will solve their issues? I mean, coaching does help you resolve hidden blocks. But, the way this is written I don't know. I would personally stay away from new age stuff like this. But, who am I to say what people should or shouldn't spend their money on. Is it a cult? I don't know much about it.
  8. I really don't know. But, I get red flags. Has he really worked with thousands? How will this spiritual work bring financial abundance? He makes a lot of wide reaching claims of the benefits of the program. It's worth asking more about that, how does that work?
  9. New book.. opening pages talk about the Tao, leadership, conflict resolution, peace and harmony and systems thinking. Good find if you ask me so far 🤓
  10. I would consider this a newbie question. It’s preferred that instead of making new threads members first search the forum to see if any one has asked similar question in the past and see those answers.
  11. Todays question is… in what ways do I act or think like a child? I am getting more insight into my low integrity, or double mindedness. This marketing course I’ve been so upset about, how I left some (then deleted) nasty reviews, etc… I think had many factors been different… Ultimately the whole thing is 100% my responsibility. My mind has been working to understand from different perspectives what the situation is as I still don’t understand marketing fully, or how to put an accurate valuation on information products. The course didn’t earn me money. I honestly don’t feel in retrospect I was ready for the course. But, now knowing that I can change.
  12. Consider reading The Pumpkin Plan. It talks about how to deal with shitty clients. But, not sure if it fits for you.
  13. My thoughts on this is that things like "being knocked unconscious" and "sleep" are states of consciousness. They are the same in this regard as normal, sober waking states. Whether you are awake, asleep, or knocked out by a punch, those are all different states of consciousness. This is my current understanding. Consciousness, as I understand it's meaning when speaking about reality, spirituality, and truth is that it is all that exists. So, everything in it, regardless of the state it is in, or the relative explanation of why it is that way don't matter when thinking about what consciousness is.
  14. @Yimpa Kevin Smith was ambitious. He created an incredible cult classic. Clerks 1 and 2 are awesome. Love Kevin Smith, he has his own thing. @Princess Arabia I am a Leo Translater 2.0 Like, the guy who 400 years later wrote down what the Buddha said.
  15. @Leo Gura Thanks for response Leo. That actually wasn't my point. I mean, you can do jobs that offer... for example social benefits which is what they want and the aspect of bartending that that may offer them. But yes, only a slave would be a bartender, etc in all likelihood. For me for example, I may be a slave. But, I am strategically using my jobs to mature and grow myself. So, it's good. I wasn't mature as you were growing up. So, I have to cut my own path. Good luck
  16. I thought this was a cool prompt I came up with today. I have been getting into some basic herbalism. It's winter where I am. I have been drinking ginger, cinnamon tea for the health and warming benefits of the herbs. While listening to a podcast I heard him say I could also add black pepper. So, I decided to look up pepper benefits from Western medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, and Chinese medicine. Each of these schools of thought are unique and interesting epistemological frame works, ideas of health, lenses at which they look through at reality. So, I find cross referencing them interesting. I found this prompt to be a fast way to compare these schools for building my understanding of herbs. Here is the prompt and response: Please provide black pepper herb usage benefits from western science, chinese medicine, and aruyvedic medicine - Certainly! Black pepper is a versatile spice that has been used in various traditional medicine systems, each attributing different benefits. Let's explore its usage benefits from Western science, Chinese medicine, and Ayurvedic medicine: Western Science: Antioxidant Properties: Black pepper contains piperine, a compound with antioxidant properties that can help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body. Digestive Aid: Piperine in black pepper has been shown to stimulate digestive enzymes, promoting better digestion and nutrient absorption. Anti-Inflammatory Effects: Some studies suggest that black pepper may have anti-inflammatory effects, potentially aiding in the management of inflammatory conditions. Chinese Medicine: Warming Properties: In Chinese medicine, black pepper is considered to have warming properties that can help disperse cold and alleviate conditions related to cold stagnation in the body. Qi (Energy) Activation: It is believed that black pepper can activate Qi energy, promoting circulation and alleviating stagnation. Ayurvedic Medicine: Digestive Stimulant: Ayurveda views black pepper as a digestive stimulant. It is believed to enhance Agni, the digestive fire, promoting efficient digestion and metabolism. Detoxification: Black pepper is thought to have detoxifying properties, helping to eliminate waste products from the body. Respiratory Support: In Ayurveda, black pepper is sometimes used to support the respiratory system, helping to alleviate congestion and promote clear breathing. While these traditional systems attribute various benefits to black pepper, it's important to note that individual responses may vary. If you have specific health concerns or conditions, it's advisable to consult with healthcare professionals in each respective system for personalized advice. Additionally, incorporating black pepper into your diet in moderation can be a flavourful way to enjoy its potential health benefits.
  17. @Leo Gura Then, and in combination with good money management.
  18. Hey, Let's remember to be kind here. We have different perspectives.
  19. This is some kinda course in miracles stuff
  20. All I claim is that I am. Which is more profound than being Jesus.
  21. Do you mean the default mode network? I’d do a little more research on the mechanics. Under brain scans we see the brain becoming hyper connected with this like mushrooms and DMT
  22. Let’s try to be respectful of our differences. I don’t understand it. But, this person is having this experience. Be kind I think. And it’s okay to have a different opinion on this.
