  1. @Emerald Happy to hear your experience.
  2. I’d like to review my list of fears this weekend. I think I have fears which are holding me back which if questioned wouldn’t.
  3. Okay, that’s a good point. Reality is very magical and interesting. I think you are asking me why if reality is so bazar as it is would I not accept law of attraction and manifestation. There may be merit, and value to law of attraction/ manifestation concepts. I do suspect that these ideas have a kernel of truth to them. But, they do not explain the reality of how people get things. I do believe that law of attraction is a property of realty, though I reject the new age idea of relying on it too heavily. There are more effective ways of getting what you desire. A combination of concepts. For example, things like: 1. Skill Building 2. Flexibility of mind 3. Career Capital 4. Accounting and Finance 5. Dealing with Failures and set backs 6. The laws of mastery and Effective Interaction.. 7. Skillful/ Mature Living 8. Financial Psychology 9. Goal Setting and measuring 10. Using Calendars and spreadsheets 11. Work Ethic 12. Building a Common Place Book and more 13. Getting a Coach I worry that some people rely on new age ideas about success without first/ also using intentional, rational, and concrete approaches to getting things in life. By effectively interacting with reality you can gain mastery over certain areas of life. This intentional approach to mastery I think at this time is more powerful than law of attraction. Though, law of attraction may be an aspect of a focused mind in thought, word and action over a long period of time. Simply imaging something or, relying on your horoscope I think is a less effective way of dealing with the hard cold truth of material success than Effective Interaction, Vision, Mastery, Holism, Balance, Maturity, Cognitive Behaviour, skill level, and energy management.
  4. Beards are key to enlightenment
  5. Nice post! I resonate with this take on the Tai Chi, duality, and embracing the full spectrum aspects of ourselves for doing shadow work. This book dove tails very nicely: The Tao of Fully Feeling He does talk essentially about shadow work in this book. Though, it has a lot to do with trauma, and enlightenment, healing etc… and teaches of a lot that resonates with what you said about shadow work. Talks about embracing all of ourselves
  6. For me this video showed the importance of humans sharing certain models and paradigms. And, also the fact that we DO have established systems for mathematics that shape our world. The use of alternative math systems are possible, but would they be adopted?
  7. @Jannes What do you mean
  8. Carry on, my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more Once I rose above the noise and confusion Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion I was soaring ever higher But I flew too high Though my eyes could see, I still was a blind man Though my mind could think, I still was a mad man I hear the voices when I'm dreaming I can hear them say Carry on, my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more Masquerading as a man with a reason My charade is the event of the season And if I claim to be a wise man, well It surely means that I don't know On a stormy sea of moving emotion Tossed about, I'm like a ship on the ocean I set a course for winds of fortune But I hear the voices say Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more, no Carry on, you will always remember Carry on, nothing equals the splendor Now your life's no longer empty Surely heaven waits for you Carry on, my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry, don't you cry no more No more
  9. Please, always hold me to a high standard on here as a mod. I will make mistakes. Being held accountable is important. I think I can be a jerk sometimes. It’s important I self reflect. Interesting, In order for me to be a good mod, I do need feedback from others.
  10. His Buddhist framing is important to note. In my view he doesn’t understand what awakening is in how Leo talks about it. It’s more profound than just a similar mental happening when we wake up in the morning. I have to watch again. It’s a pretty dense talk.
  11. I mean, the trick is God is both the source and the content. So, yeah. The “Content” is God. Idk how else to say it. Yes, all of the content is not the absolute (while also being the absolute). I’ll have to listen to him again. First impression he didn’t give a great explanation to back what he was saying. Though, I did like his non-dual take on it. However, I do wonder if he non-dual stance influences his understanding in a way that is limiting. Willing to try later again.
  12. @Vrubel The attack on Israel as far as I can tell is well documented. I don’t know why he is questioning it.
  13. I think there are good coaches out there. But, a lot of people who are under qualified learn marketing and sales and people end up paying 3k for a “manifesting” course is nonsense to me. Law of attraction and manifestation is dumb.
  14. Actually you can. By creating an ideology, which paradoxically isn’t

  16. Do you know much much you earn each month? Do you have a budget you set monthly and track your expenses? Have you given each dollars a purpose? Are you spending less than you earn? Why don’t you have a steady job/ source of income?
  17. When you demonize, mock, belittle, lower, make stupid, project bad intentions on others who disagree with you… you are shutting yourself off to seeing the situation objectively. Please be wary of doing this.
  18. @Raze I don’t know what is true or what your goal is with sharing what you are sharing here. It seems to be offending some users though. Be mindful of that.
  19. @Nivsch Hey, I do respectfully suggest we don’t demonize news reports that are not favourable to Israel. The same should be true for news that isn’t favourable to Palestine. If something is true, like an event that happened and it’s being reported by news stations, and people on the ground in Gaza (many who are doctors from other nations) and to assume it’s lies is a problem in my opinion. If you simply deny and reject news you don’t like… it’s not adding to the thread. But, if you have proof something is false… that is different.
  20. Either quit, or change your relationship with it. Start going out and socializing and doing the things you wanna do.
