I have trouble understanding what you mean exactly

Wis-dumb? or Wisdom?

I am learning to say no and set boundaries. I also ask questions around my ability to handle conflict and to be able to steer through conflict, or what have you… to being things to resolution. Conflict resolution is much easier than it sounds. But, it’s hard when emotions and triggers cloud your judgement. Very tricky work.

I think the thread can stay open. Remember, this thread is discussing a conflict which is very important and emotional for many people involved. In terms of this thread and Actualized.org perhaps use it as an opportunity to work on your maturity, conflict resolution, communication, and handling triggers.

Also, “Shadow Work”, as I understand it is not a traditionally Toaist idea. Though, Taoism is well applied to any area of life. Also, without doing shadow work you can’t deeply awaken, become deeply wise, nor can you access infinite love. Of course you could do some 5meodmt… but, let me tell you… it’s sometimes shadowwork on steroids. So be careful. That being said, there is that pernicious paradox of Absolute Truth, Being, and God at the centre of all this.

Actually, you may want to study the Tao. You know very little of its depths. It’s a very deep and profound school of thought/ practice/ insights/ and holistic development that well exceeds what you may expect. Awakening and shadow work exist on different lines of development. Both are important in self actualizing work and developing a good life. Don’t let ideas of awakening make you retarded to the reality of your human psychology. Awakened people may still choose to do shadow work. Awakening doesn’t now negate doing shadow work and to think so is mislead and immature. To be truly good, you likely need to do shadow work. Because, shadow work is in part you shining the light of love on yourself and all the parts you disown/ avoid/ that deeply disturb you.

Okay, that’s a good point. Reality is very magical and interesting. I think you are asking me why if reality is so bazar as it is would I not accept law of attraction and manifestation. There may be merit, and value to law of attraction/ manifestation concepts. I do suspect that these ideas have a kernel of truth to them. But, they do not explain the reality of how people get things. I do believe that law of attraction is a property of realty, though I reject the new age idea of relying on it too heavily. There are more effective ways of getting what you desire. A combination of concepts. For example, things like: 1. Skill Building 2. Flexibility of mind 3. Career Capital 4. Accounting and Finance 5. Dealing with Failures and set backs 6. The laws of mastery and Effective Interaction.. 7. Skillful/ Mature Living 8. Financial Psychology 9. Goal Setting and measuring 10. Using Calendars and spreadsheets 11. Work Ethic 12. Building a Common Place Book and more 13. Getting a Coach I worry that some people rely on new age ideas about success without first/ also using intentional, rational, and concrete approaches to getting things in life. By effectively interacting with reality you can gain mastery over certain areas of life. This intentional approach to mastery I think at this time is more powerful than law of attraction. Though, law of attraction may be an aspect of a focused mind in thought, word and action over a long period of time. Simply imaging something or, relying on your horoscope I think is a less effective way of dealing with the hard cold truth of material success than Effective Interaction, Vision, Mastery, Holism, Balance, Maturity, Cognitive Behaviour, skill level, and energy management.
