  1. This is something I am working on too. I think you will find that there is a lot of not knowing involved with human relationships. But the thoughts, projections and emotions we deal with are always a chance for greater self understanding and cosmic insight. Don't take other peoples reactions to heart, or waste time worrying about what others think. But, do become an apprentice of human behaviour. Projections are happening all the time. Use other peoples reactions as lessons for understanding yourself as well. This is the whole trap of looking for others for validation. Become grounded in your own truth, open heart and thick spine. One fool asks another fool for an opinion and gets a fools opinions. Maybe ground yourself in how you want the situation to go, and just go with that. I usually lead with kindness and openness once I ground myself after an awkward situation. But, if the other person is to caught up in ego and projection blaming and demonizing you. Just, step back and do your job. Be kind, but they aren't your responsibility. Simply observe. Breath. The amount of time and joy I've wasted worrying about what others think of me is sickening. Almost all human interaction uses 'transference' (the umbrella term projection falls under) because other than our physical bodies we are interacting with these highly complex social games built off past experiences, future expectations and often unconscious rules and self images... Most people are so concerned with themselves, self reflect little and have moods, tempers, expectations of others that are just ridiculous. People have so much going on under the hood... But also, self reflect and check yourself maybe you were being ignorant as well and need to adjust how you treat co-workers. The sooner we ground ourselves in cosmic truth the better imo. Obviously we want healthy relationships but that starts with more self understanding, and not looking to control or pick apart the motivations of others. If I notice myself projecting, which is always happening but sometimes is less accurate than other times I generally start using "I think" or "I feel" or "I want" or neutral observation statements instead of telling someone else they are projecting. This is because it's always happening anyway and this way I can communicate in a more non-violent sort of way. My general rule of thumb is to understand, be understood and create harmony with those around me. Storms are inevitable and mistakes will happen. But, if the other party is too busy playing ego games to communicate then, there is not much you can do.
  2. @nistake There are many paths of Qigong as it is a large umbrella term which includes many forum of Qigong, Tai Chi, Tai Self massage, Kung Fu... etc... I personally have chosen to follow the student of Mantak Chia, named Lee Holden! He teaches a mixture of medical Qigong, spiritual Qigong.. The focus is on less stress more energy and regaining our power. I find this Qigong to be very intuitive and practical compared to Tai Chi! https://www.holdenqigong.com/
  3. Man, I personally think that the Fabulous app changed my life a few years back! Designed by the university of Berkley. It's more in depth than you think. Give er a try! https://www.thefabulous.co/
  4. A lot of my family that was raised christian say this to me. They think self love is a sin, akin to neurotic narcissism. To say "I am God" or "I love myself" is something a lot of christians I think find threatening because... maybe they have a devotional, exoteric lean? Probably hard to convince someone who has the fear of God within them otherwise. To me that is the real Sin... to put this Golden Calf as your lord and saviour... "Working for the church while your family dies You take what they give you and you keep it inside Every spark of friendship and love will die without a home Hear the soldier grown we'll go it alone!" - Arcadefire , Intervention
  5. @jim123 There are layers to this questions. 1. If taken all the way it means realizing you are God, but, it really means cleaning up your metaphysical connection to what is the case. I personally think you can drop all the spirits bullshit. There are energies for sure... Is raping children killing children what the bible teaches? Because the christians did that here to the indigenous children in my country. We found what, 3000 unmarked graves? When did Jesus ever fucking tell anyone to take children from their home and then torture, abuse, take their culture from them and kill them? Leave dogma and religion behind imo... It can be useful, but the devil is in most religions. Spirituality does not refer to 'spirits'... because everything is Spirit. It CAN refer to spirits, but that is dualistic. I think that Leo's teaching are non-duality which means its all you. You are God, so learn to love and understand yourself. It's gonna be hard. You are the Holy Spirit. Take responsibility for yourself.
  6. You don't need to rush into anything. Focus on school, developing the skills you need and developing a healthy clear mind. Focus on enjoying your youth, building your foundation. Mental clarity, self love, good habits, healthy relationships, etc... Its all connected. With enlightenment you can think 10-20-30 years in the future. You are so far ahead of other by already taking the LP course and working your ass off. You can still meditate, do Yoga, Qigong, etc... The sooner you start Qigong the longer you will stay youthful and your mental and physical health will excel and carry you with a higher level of youthfulness. You want to now build a foundation to add life to your years. Take the idea of understanding finances over the next few years. You are at the perfect age to begin mastering it so you don't have to worry about money and wage slavery when you are older. Having money and understanding it frees you up to do whatever you want. If you study enough, develop skills and understand how to learn and develop skill rapidly you will be a super power. Plan, enjoy, have fun, explore your passions, meditate, etc Build your foundation. Enlightenment, mastery of mind, esoteric wisdom, etc... It's a huge sprawling exploration!
  7. Symbolic language is inherently problematic. Beyond the word God... We all have unique data bases... Have you ever read a book on a subject and then had to argue with a fool who never studied that subject at all?
  8. Been dancing to this! gets into my hips!
  9. What are you saying? 'Random serb'? The spiritual path is sprawling, nuanced, counterintuitive, and takes time to unfold as long as you show up consistently. It's just this right now. You can't really mess it up. Just, relax.
  10. Lol, good luck walking the mindfield of nutritional science. Be open minded and base it in direct experience. Find the balance between practice and theory.
  11. Don't be so sure. People have no idea what they are getting themselves into sometimes. I would say that a lot of people who take psychedelics are really immature.
  12. @lambofgod182 I binged watched the crap out of these a few years ago!
  13. @ZzzleepingBear Negative thoughts is a far more robust happening than purely being pessimistic like "OH... Why bother not gonna find food anyway..."... It's more like... Well this is a deep subject... But, negative thoughts can keep you from stepping outside of your comfort zone because that has kept you alive. Whatever thoughts, positive or negative that have kept you alive in the past persist. Fear is a powerful survival mechanism. It can be a negative trait of course. Really, positive and negative thinking is such a paper thin concern. The level you can take your thoughts and interpretation of reality goes so much deeper than this.
  14. @Wisebaxter Because that is the nature of relativity!
  15. Martin used to talk to his feather for advice!
  16. @Vynce I didn't finish the book yet! Though, the last week I've had the most lucid dreams I've ever experienced. I am starting to think it is possible.
  17. Keep asking these questions, consider taking the life purpose course because it addresses a lot of this material. Everyday is a chance for new insights and cosmic victory. You can enter a new way of seeing reality Also, IMO, there is an important distinction between a 'role' you play, and the unconscious habits you have and your systems for living. Try reading "Code Of the Extraordinary Mind" by Vishen Lahkiani!
  18. I think the most important thing to do is this... If Leos is making you ill, then walk away from his work. He is one guy, and who knows what his real intentions, shadows, short sightedness and lack of holism actually is. I notice myself wanting him to be someone he is not, I want him to be more open and answer and explain some of the claims he makes in his God realization video etc.. uliminately we are our main responsibility and Spirituallity is a bigger subject than ever explain in his videos, or that can be realized by watching his work alone. It's just one perspective. We need more experience. There is a lot of dangers here. Some of what he says and then how he treats people who ask questions, for example about solipsism etc make me question his integrity as a teacher. I think his videos are good works. But, him as a person I don't think he has the integrity I would expect... They are videos, and a booklist and a forum. He isn't a Guru or your coach, or your teacher. Sure, he will answer what he considers serious questions... But even then he might not. He sometimes just slumps people off or projects on them. It's the nature of things. Just, expand your horizons. Do the work. The work he promotes is really powerful grounded stuff. But, like anyone he isn't perfect. I think anyway. I love Leo, he is an amazing person. But, we are all a little faulty as limited mortals.
  19. 1. Take the life purpose course 2. Install apps like Fabulous App to begin reprogramming your mind to serve you 3. Begin journaling, reading high quality books, listening to audio books or mini books like HeadWay 4. Take more time just to sit and be with yourself Find what works for you. Take more online courses instead of watching BS that is way outside your locus of control. I think the more centered and practical your information diet the better.
  20. Well, then your fucked. (kidding) You can learn to do anything you put your mind too. Just, take the time and do the work. You got this. So, you better install some beliefs that actually serve you instead of creating walls and bricks where there are none. Of course you can heal yourself. Just go do it and stop being so addicted to pain and victimhood. It's your birthright to be happy, loving and loved and successful. Just, work at it everyday. You got this!
  21. Some of his teachings sound insane to most people. Like, he doesn't have his own conciousness and I just pretend he does so I don't feel alone. Well, no the video of Leo doesnt... But, I am not all alone anyway there are plenty of people I love in my life..?
  22. You need to take your mental health seriously. Like any tool you need to use it properly, in the right context and at the right time in your life. If you are already unstable I think you are better off focusing on that. Building that stability you need. It's totally up to you. The problem is from what I am reading and seeing you saying over the past few weeks is that your already so unstable and struggling in many areas you are better off taking a more traditional approach of meditating, developing healthy habits, taking online courses in the areas of your weakness, seeking professional help. Begin to build a solid foundation and a life you can enjoy. These substances wont change your life. They can be used as tool but... don't look for easy ways out. Take care. Reach out to a professional, you will be okay. Stop taking the path of least resistance.
