Self love I think when practiced at a high level is really nuanced, robust and can be expressed in seemingly paradoxical ways. Self Love can mean cutting off a relationship, moving out, going to war, admitting painful truths to yourself and suffering through them. It can also mean the opposite stuff too, like eating well, meeting people you love and creating meaningful relationships, self forgiveness and self-compassion. Self Love when fleshed out is the most powerful teaching in the universe.

Hey, I can relate to this. I too say and do dumb things in my life which has consequences. It is through these lessons though that we get better. We need to get over this idea that to try is to be perfect or we are better off not doing anything at all. I do think that speaking to a professional, for example over at Betterhelp.com to have someone guide you through this would be beneficial. Like Vernon Howard says... Do not rest in your current psychic location. Take action.

What are you opinions on this? He makes a lot of sense to me. I am still struggling with all the information I am learning about what reality really is. I can say that, his point of view makes a lot more sense for surviving reality and this seems to be a mature and grounded way to approach reality. My personal understanding is that reality is infinite intelligence and the manifestation of this intelligence. It's all connected and a weird strangeloop. It's nothing. But, it exists.

From what I understand, and I can be wrong... Leo's videos are wide and sprawling and cover a full 'spectrum' of personal development advice. With the internet today there is no reason as far as I can tell that a creative individual can't make a lot of money and free themselves from wage slavery by creating a lot of value in a field they are passionate about. I know many people who are doing this. For example my ex girlfriend does Kundalini and reiki work with people and she makes at least 6 figures if not 7. Be mindful of the distinctions you make. The higher spiritual values can be embodied by anyone. Hmm, for example if you look at the Susan C's ego developmental models you see that the ego goes through phases of maturity. The lower stages such as the achiever stages are really important I think. I don't think spirituality and massive success are at odds with each other. In fact, we need highly integrous and awakened leaders who are in business in all sectors.

@Preety_India Hey, given my current circumstances and foolishness I am having a similar inner dialogue. Best thing you can do is love yourself.

I always recommend the App Fabulous. The app has helped me in so many ways to be more productive. I think in the end really, you just need to work through it.
-
Well, It isn't actually the case for reality. Just for you.

This bubble right here, I can guarantee you exists. It just doesn't for you, because you are looking out your own eyes. At least, I imagine that. Leo's exercise for realizing you are God video needs to be taken carefully. What is the case for you... Is not the case for me. I exist here, I talk here. The only reason I am alive is because I am apart of an economy of people just like you and me.

Yeah, hey... You know most people in my life thought I was crazy when I talked about this stuff. Very little of Actualized.org or deep enlightenment work is what I am willing to share with my family or friends. They just don't care and they don't get it. I myself still can't tell what aspect or insights are 'true' other than the things that improve my well being and the well being of those around me. I sense that I am still very immature. If you can talk about this stuff, but it requires the right context and the right container. Don't underestimate the time required to properly integrate this stuff. I am working towards teaching people aspects of enlightenment but my focus is very different now from 'god realization' to developing self knowledge and the skills and tools for de-armouring their bodies and developing longevity and a calm relaxed, and healthily energized body. -
Yeah, this isn't something I understand. Does anything at all outside my direct experience exist? It seems very bazar and impractical to assume such things given the nature of reality as I see it. I admit anything outside of my direct experience is imaginary. But, for survival it's important to live as if others exist. Because, for all I know they do... I still have to live in a socially acceptable way or there is consequences. You have your bubble of experience right? Well, believe it or not I have my own bubble of experience. But, I can't prove yours. This also doesn't negate the fear of missing out. I only have so much time, money, and years left in me!

Oh man,FOMO is huge for me. I think that has been one of my biggest sufferings because I realize with every decision, loss, there are an infinite amount of things I wont be able to experience, Gonna contemplate this later.

@Preety_India These are great insights. But, it's also important we ground ourselves in secular mental health. Consider speaking to a professional as well. Spirituality is best practiced I think when built of a foundation of a healthy psyche and rational thinking. Of course, we can go through spiritual crises but it's important we use all the tools at our disposal including the advice of trained specialists. I'ved learned this the hard way that to create a high quality and integral psychology we must really focus on grounding, grounding, grounding. The past 2 years for me I think the combination of spiritual teachings, family issues, global crises and my own immaturity has gotten me in trouble. Hoping others can avoid my mistakes. Wishing you well. -
Antisocial doesn't mean we aren't out socializing. It means the behaviour exhibited goes against healthy social cohesion and the well being of others in social environments.

For me working through this in my own relationships will be huge. There are so many unconsciousness manipulations mechanisms going on within me through my life and relationships... this is what scarred my relationships in my late teens and early 20s. I picked up a lot of these tactics to get the love my parents never gave me, and to cover my self esteem issues.

@benny There are so many factors in peoples situations depending on their genetics, up bringing, tastes, interest, mental faculties, heavy metal toxicity, access to information, age, financial problems, education etc to really say. I think people can do this work if they are willing to try it. I myself fuck up all the time. This work has benefited my life in amazing ways. But, also the misapplication and abusing of self actualization materials has created problems. You really don't know what you know unless you are willing to suffer through loss, confusion and the pain of admitting to yourself how self deceived you have been. We will all take our own path, and have our own capacities. There are so many ways to live in the world and I think that is one of the great things about being human.

Sounds like you've made a lot of growth and have a lot of systems in place. Glad to hear about your mature and balance take on psychedelics because I was putting way to my importance on them. I to think that 3-4 times a year for them is ideal. Or, at least 10-12 times. Once for each month. I am looking to get into pick up and will be taking Owen Cooks online pickup course. I am currently studying accounting and want to gain a high level understanding of finance. I think mastering that area would be important. I want to run my own business so the more skills I can have for setting this up and thinking long term, creating balanced and sturdy systems in my life the better. I have ADHD, and I will likely go back on medication for at least 6 months to see how that affects my focus and thinking. I can't say too much about what you are doing other than it sounds like you are growing into a well balance person despite a rough start in life with mental health. I have suffered greatly in my youth as well. Years of constant anxiety and self hatred. I sense I am beginning to balance out as I am using all the tools at my disposal and figuring out mature approaches to these tools. Thanks for the post!

Really this is a deep question that depends on so many factors. What are you trying to create? What impact are you looking to have? What systems actually work in order for you to do this? What resources do you have? What are you specializing in and what types of mediums do people consume that type of information? What are you passionate about? What is your life purpose statement? ... and more The future of information sharing and when you look at some of the best online businesses right now they are using more than one medium because they know their audiences consume information through a variety of mediums. Once people are working full time in a profitable business they are able to diversify and create powerful systems to serve their audiences in a high quality way. Leo's life purpose course has many powerful aspects to it. However, it's important as the decision maker that you decide what works. For example Holistic Song Writing has: A podcast A youtube Channel A book or 2 Various Courses 1 on 1 coaching Live coaching events A website Some businesses that are doing really well especially with things like Yoga, Meditation, Qigong and other information and health based products and services use: Facebook page and facebook groups Apps like Passion.io It really depends on the business you are creating. Often times these mediums complement each other and feed into one another in synergistic ways.

Marketing in our current world is a stage orange value. I also find myself resisting this but I know in order for me to create the life I want to live I will have to embrace this. It will be up to you to create high quality distinctions and as to what is low con Vs. High Con... Also, let's not demonize any stage of the spiral but integrate them into our lives to become powerful well rounded individuals and citizens. I have to admit to not fully understanding what you are saying in this post.

This is a great quote and the more experience I gain in life the more I see this as true. I am just as capable of evil and devilry as anyone. This is why my compassion has grown to the point that I actually can't be honest about my opinions around normies. I see myself in everyone. The more mistakes I've made in my life the more my compassion has grown for others. There is a good book by Sheldon Kopp called "Mirror Mask and Shadow: The Risks and Rewards of Self Acceptance" This was a great book for helping me to accept my shadow desires, past mistakes and the inevitable mistakes I will make in my life. It also has helped me to accept just how harsh and cruel reality can be. The past few months I've been realizing this especially. My own ability to harm myself and others, to be deluded, and the shadow and sinister desires the exist within myself. Let this be a lesson on creating false self images, or false mechanical morality. Reality will smash your self image, your morals etc again and again because there is just too many risks and factors that will show up in our lives. I have made so many mistakes over the past few years. I don't have many great role models in my life, so I've made so many mistakes I wish I could take back sometimes... But, I can fully accept my ignorance more and more. The more we accept our fragmentation we can move toward greater unity. I fully accept and embrace the fact that I am not better or worse than anyone else and the people society tends to hate, is actually their own shadow. We all have a dark side. I think there are many books. I think the more often you can fully see and embrace and allow yourself to see these negative desires the better. When we can fully accept these aspects of ourselves without acting on them I think that is better. What we resist, hate, pitty, lie about, etc I think persists and will eventually express itself in harmful and dysfunctional way. We can fully accept reality, our dark desires etc without self hatred. Self love is after all the highest teaching.

If you find yourself losing ground with reality be prepared to be radically honest with yourself. Speak to others who are more grounded. Speaking to 'normies' can be really grounding like a rope back to the collective headspace. As much as we can judge our culture for being primitive, it's also great for survival which is the most foundational aspect of this work. Seeing reality as it is, mundane, normal, etc. It's important to ground yourself. Try speaking to a psychologist. I personally speak to a professional every week to work through my own personal problems and illusions. This idea that you will find 'Truth' and everything will change, be perfect forever and you will not longer have problems, or you will discover some mystical fate is false. Speak to people, embrace mundane ordinary reality. Take a break from the seeking, psychs, listening to gurus because I have fallen into that trap in the past and it only leads to spinning your wheels. Be patient, realize how long life is and that you don't need to know all the answer today. Let your life be lived. Don't focus on living by all these spiritual rules. Notice how you have lived fine before listening to all this stuff about being, doing, character, ego etc... Life is just what it is. We don't really want to live with all these spiritual concepts that are supposed to free us. They can easily become chains and delusion, despite wearing the robes of 'truth'. Don't chase spiritual and mystical highs. Embrace regularity.

Thought Art replied to Opo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Remember to space your trips out. I was over zealous I think when I first got into these substances and I got myself into trouble. I am currently going through a pretty big paradigm shift, admitting a lot to myself. I don't want anyone else to repeat my mistakes. Be careful, everyone. We need you sane, clear minded and healthy. -

Sounds like a nice experience and mysterious experience. What do you personally think happened? -
Thought Art replied to Opo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There you go, really you need to follow your own intuition and as long as you take proper precautions to ensure your safety... take it in a fool proof setting and stay grounded then I can't see it being a problem. 5meodmt is a different beast for sure. -
Leos talks about how others are imaginary.. Sure it all is. But, God won't let me have what I want or to bend the rules of reality. Yet, Leo says people are imaginary. So am I alone or not? Clearly I am not. But GOD is. Not you, not any of us. That doesn't make sense. If no one else really exists than there should be no reason I can't imagine and have what I want. Clearly, the world is not just 'me' but all of us. Still, it doesn't all make sense from my ego. God clearly is just whatever it is... It's not human. Except, others do exist and reality limits us all as individuals.
