I think the point was, that when I want someone to buy my product, or service I am falling into a neediness because I want something from them. I will journal and unpack this deeper. As I go about developing this new phase of my life I will come uncover these behaviours through direct experience and transcend and integrate new behaviours consciously. I notice old patterns, the same patterns that held me back in the past in the last chapter. But, I have a new toolbox now.

Thanks. But, my stress isn't the point ahah the world is just so complex. I had someone react negatively toward my use of the word today, someone I wanted to come to my classes. I think that is it, it's connected to people pleasing and a fear I have of being wrong, or looking foolish. Will contemplate!

If it's just consciousness, why survival at all? Why not just infinite Orgy all day er day -
I am thinking it's going to take practice and inner unification. My mind always finds something to ruminate on. I am noticing it. Same structure, different content. And different negative results. I have practices, resources and am improving everyday.

I think this is a big problem we are facing right now... "I know a time is coming all words will lose their meaning.."

Alright, sound fishy. -
Those are all good tips. I especially know stoners who think they have social anxiety. Which is probably true, but when your stoned you are prone to anxiety and... Learning to develop self esteem through a sound and sober mind is important. Use them maturely and not chronically. It's important to feel into what is there I think. But, important not to be dogmatic to others. I have noticed this neediness since childhood and I don't think it's drug related.

I had a friend who told me on a trip once "I found it!" He has found the truth. Only the next day he said it must have been an illusion. So, in that sense structure is important for integration I suppose. -

Interesting. They are so different for me. Different aspects of the mountain of God. -
Careful in chasing money for the sake of chasing money also. It's a shame to be a billionaire but poor inside.

Also, I am still confused on the relationship between psyche structure and awakening... Like, your beliefs, intentions, epistemology and metaphysics must affect the awakening or the quality of insight and integration of awakenings. Maybe even the awakenings themselves... -
I have it on my kindle! Thanks for the orientation.

I am noticing that whatever I want in life, like starting my own business, or keeping a partner/ intimate relationship. I find my neediness or desire for the thing can bring about it's downfall or loss. I notice myself starting to get people interested in Qigong and have been doing sessions around my city. People really seem to enjoy it. I just want to make sure I am not clinging onto my ideas of success and just allowing the process to unfold. But, I also need to make sure and put effort to ensure it unfolds. There seems to a need for a light clinging, but room to breath. Tips?

Yeah, I don't know what Neo advaita is yet. I've heard the names Rupert Spira and Eckart Tolle as well in that group. So much to learn -
I second this. Basically, once you reach nihilism you begin to take control of how to construct meaning. I think a big part of what I learn from Zen is what Octo said above. However, that being said. People attach meanings to everything and no one here if fully free from meaning making because we use it for survival and social cohesion. But, we can work toward liberation the more we unleash ourselves from the mental prisons we create. I'd like to add the concept of transference and projection here as well. Many of our meanings lay beneath the surface of our conscious mind and can be very archetypal. The map isn't the territory as they say Any meaning that does exist, you created because you are God.

What do these words mean to you? Exoteric means information taught to the masses, while esoteric is specialized information for a small ground of people. I think teaching, or religion may have either exoteric or esoteric aspects to their teachings. I own the book 'esoteric encyclopedia of eternal knowledge' which I like to read. I had internalized my own meaning of esoteric, which mean wisdom known by a few or wisdom developed through personal introspection as many of Vernon Howards teachings teach that we must first focus on the inner working of our minds instead of following blindly exoteric teachings of the masses. I had been reading some of the paragraphs after my Qigong sessions but today someone pointed out to me their interpretation of esoteric. It seemed to rub them the wrong way and brought up many religious meanings for them. That this book could not contain real esoteric knowledge because it was written down, and that esoteric is an open meaningless word. As, even a satanist group can have esoteric teachings. This made sense to me but made me second guess whether or not I should share these wisdom nuggets after my classes. Personally, I think Vernon Howards teachings line up nicely with Taoist philosophy so I personally know there isn't a problem... But, everyone has their own defenses etc. It made me recontextualize and my initial idea of these readings I thought the tasty wisdom nuggets. I thought they were fun and refreshing and would go along with the Qigong nicely. However, after this morning I am leaving the book at home and am just going to stick to the Qigong. I think I am still learning the subtlties of how people have developed their operating systems. Best to focus on just teaching relaxation, and find a more specific group who wants to discuss other things. I will however consider making a study group of philosophy, spirituality, esoteric etc in the future.

We are not lions. Completely difference teeth and digestive systems. High quality meats are probably fine it eaten irregularly. But, farmed meat and processed meat make you smell weird and are carcinogenic. -
Plus it's like, you have actualized teachings, you are going into engineering, you are young the future it still open... You life is going to be amazing. My biggest trap at that age was not seeing how much will happen in a course of 5 years.

Oh man, give me like 50,000 and I would do a little jig for a month. I live pretty simply, if I have a million dollars my life purpose would happen 100x speed
