These things are not exclusive to one another. After you 'awaken' you are still here in the finite dream. Might as well develop an inner well being and blissful life systems.

There are hundreds of styles of meditation as well which are crucial for embodiment and inner alchemical practices. I've been doing microcosmic orbit, three treasures and inner smile and am seeing results. I've also been doing Taoist Standing meditations which I really really enjoy. Developing pure bliss in my sits! Don't give your authority to any teacher.

I appreciate Leo's work. But, for my life and spiritual needs personally... It's not the only work/ teaching I am interested in. If I only used Leo for spirituality I would be dysfunctional and neurotic. Leos stuff is so 'high level' much of the time and often explained through language. So you need to have a toolkit of practices. Mostly because its a video lecture. Books, journaling, meditation, Qigong and therapy are all Not that his teachings are bad, they are amazing and when used in combination with other teachers and practices are very good. Lately, I've been interested in the Tao and Qigong more than anything. But, that is with the lenses Leo gave me. So, I am trying to triangulate all yall until I get to the Gold Gold. I may not be able to "Awaken" through Qigong and meditation but I am developing a quality of spiritual embodiment you won't through tripping. Though, that is part of a healthy practice as well. Personally, Leo is one part of my spiritual/ practical tool kit. I learn from everyone.

I especially like how the young sage goes through a lot of ups and downs as he confronts "dying" at 17. His depression and short term 'madness' etc I saw in myself, and others who pursue awakening. I also enjoy how epic his meditations, the process and steps of purification and cultivation he embarks on and the sheer grit and wisdom this young person has. Very good book to inspire you to do spiritual work and also some of the challenges that can arise. The three taoist wizards who are training him: The wizard of Emptiness, Pure Serenity and Infinity is their title/ attainments. They are passing along their wisdom to the next hold of the Dragon Gate Lineage.. The 18th person to be handed this wisdom. I like also how he does these intense meditations, and also linking to Qigong and other taoist inner alchemy practices. I found it very inspiring. For me meditation, Qigong, etc are really crucial for my spiritual work. Increasing my awareness, improving my circulation of Qi, mindfulness, etc are really important aspects of my path and pursuits. I love Leos work for more the awakening side of thing but I think taoism has a lot to offer my relative existence and spirituality.

Opening The Dragon Gate This is an amazing book for people looking to learn what it takes to go really far into spirituality. It doesn't address psychedelics but from what I have read so far you will find it inspiring and eye opening to the risks, challenges and rewards that deep practice can bring.

I appreciate Nahm. But sometimes found him like, subtly spiritually combative with the whole "Thats just thoughts" thing. I also fall into this fruitless sort of banter so whatever Thats just thoughts is just thoughts too. So, what are we gonna do? Mod or not Mod, he is a good contributor to the forum. Overall, Nahm is a great person to learn from I think.

No, It's a love machine With great wisdom comes great love, great acceptance and great joy. But, the first steps can be a doozy.

@Leo Gura people were excited for a new video plus this one seems to have had a lot of anticipation in general. Double whammy.

I managed to buy a reverse osmosis machine new and half price. here is the water. The left is clean and the right it the waste water… these filters last two years. I think it’s a good investment in my long term health. Also, I use a stainless steel kettle and avoid plastics and non stick pans.
