  1. @Razard86 uhh, maybe your the one who needs to contemplate ahaha also, consider studying/ contemplating duality, God and Non-dual Shaiva Tantra… and trip.
  2. @r0ckyreed Personally I’ve been reading those “A very short introduction to” - Philosophy of science - Science vs Religion - Knowledge - Infinity You make a lot of good points Btw
  3. @r0ckyreed Your last point about meditation, psychedelics etc point to the future of science, but not as it’s commonly done. this, leo dispels the myth of modern science.
  4. @r0ckyreed Yeah but, the things your saying about assumption, ideology, beliefs etc are very difficult realities that all scientists face… yet they do science. You cant KNOW everything. Newtonian physics works for example, but it’s not true to the core of how reality works. People assume that because it works and is useful that it’s true. Quantum mechanics came along and showed there’s more to reality than Newtonian physics. When you read books about the philosophy of science and science vs religion they aren’t as cut and dry, black and white as your making it out to be here. It’s actually far more intertwined and complicated than… than the myth of science shared by people. Science claims to not be based on belief. But when you actually look how most scientists function and even how things like, scientific authorities, titles, history, belief in your methodology/ models etc… Science is actually pretty much 95% belief. Admit to yourself you haven’t actually confirmed 99% of scientific findings. You’ve probably never really done science either. Science is also largely trapped in circular symbolic reasoning which limits it from really knowing what reality is. Because science is largely authority, models, symbols, etc it’s pretty much belief. Also, something like 70% of studies could not be recreated in a few well known studies. Science does have biases… can you see them? What is peer review but confirmation bias? What is the bias for certain ways of knowing vs other? What is the bias for survival vs truth? Science has beliefs about what objectivity and subjectivity are… can you grasp that from a higher perspective? How “objective” is science really? Science NEEDS assumptions. Because, it can’t know everything and science is largely a survival tool used by human/ apes to manipulate and survive in the world. Then, calls that truth or the best thing to it. Science assumes much. These assumptions are often the paradigms that genius scientists spend their lives fighting to shatter with their leading edge discoveries.
  5. God is an infinite mind.. acceptance vs non-acceptance is duality God is Acceptance with a capital A. God IS Acceptence. God can only imagine non-acceptance as a finite being. Suffering and learning to love is the simulation spawned from an original and absolute being of Acceptance and Nirvana. The suffering is just part of the game of being human. Shiva in its purest form has no issue with being alone. That’s when it’s in its highest and purest love. It doesn’t prefer being alone or being with another. For, shiva is I am all together. Shiva is, We are all together.
  6. Kindly and with love…Don’t be an idiot. You must not date your coworkers for so many reasons. It’s going to create a toxic work environment when it doesn’t work out because honestly is likely won’t l. You need to date in setting where you can easily exit, and then “who’s next?”. a guy like you asking these questions needs experience experience experience. Which means lots of failure. Which is totally normal. Just don’t do it at work.
  7. @Razard86 Just wait till you have a mystical experience that there is no time. That will change you for sure… There is a whole experiential possibility outside of that causality (which is your dream btw).
  8. Uhh, they are pretty related Science is largely based on the belief of an external reality…
  9. I used to think that Canada needed a progressive party like the Green’s. However, their last leader Annemae Paul basically destroyed it by accusing her own party of racism and sexism instead of going about conflict resolution in a meaning full way. Totally idiotic. Imagine if Obama cried like that every time he faced racism by democrats or even republicans… I think it goes to show that being a leader, isn’t that same as being left/ progressive/ liberal etc… the Green’s need to find real leadership like, Obama or something. Someone who can handle the real adversity that comes with the difficulty and complexity of such a leadership position. Then, the next leader candidate as far as I can tell gets “misgendered” on a zoom call and… again breaks down and starts accusing HER OWN PARTY… considerably the most progressive part in Canada as being sexist, transphobic and racist. What is going on? To me this is what a right winged person would call being “libtards”. Very disappointing I wasted a vote in them years back. I am a little worried a lot of progressive politics is really just poor personal development, mental Illness and a social media induced idealistic morality that lacks any backbone and adversity quotient. There are things I resonate with with Jordan Peterson on this…. here is an article: https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/other/sabrina-maddeaux-green-party-misgendering-kerfuffle-may-be-its-death-knell/ar-AA11OsVq
  10. @r0ckyreed I think you need to experience realizing that the external world is literally your imagination first. Mystical experiences reveal this with such obvious and direct insight. We say it’s imaginary because you are a single infinite mind imaging all things. Life is a dream. The word “Imaginary” is also contextually dense and has layers and can be used to point to different aspects of consciousness. We are all limited by symbolic language, state of consciousness and lack of direct experience and reference experiences. Science is stuck in materialism using people like Einstein as authority figures, etc trying to think they can understand reality by studying his work. But, this is simply god running in circles in its own finite dream which is just it’s own mind playing and pretending. As a human you can imagine things. That capacity you have to imagine is a small aspect of infinite minds ability to imagine entire universes and physics etc When you have your first mystical experience where you realize you have infinite will, and all reality is a construct of your mind and… you are God. It’ll make sense. If you can remember when you go back to being finite…
  11. @Leo Gura more like Albert Idea-in-my-mind-Stein am I right? ?
  12. We will likely need to rewatch, deeply contemplate, read and observe over time and allow recontextualizarion etc to happy to fully understand the series and it’s implications.
  13. A lot of people over estimate it too
  14. Don’t invest more than she does
  15. I watched the whole episode Basically there is a trade off to being alone or socializing. You won’t learn as deeply about reality if you socialize all the time. And, most people aren’t highly intelligent and most human interaction is surface level and petty. But also, if you can’t socialize and rarely do you also aren’t intelligent. Spending time with others you generally have to conform to their framing. He stresses the importance of sitting alone and thinking your own thoughts. That even reading, videos, podcasts etc can make you stupid if you never think your own original thoughts.
  16. @Vercingetorix wow looks like a photo
  17. @ZzzleepingBear The reason you think a piece of art is tasteful or tasteless is subjective and up to you. If you saw a beautiful image that was AI and told it was made by hand you may like it more. Or, you may find beauty i. The image for its own sake regardless of how it was made, or even find beauty in it for being a result of AI. A beautiful example of the convergence of science and artistic expression. That’s very different than a smoothie/ pill form food simply to down it faster. At least a that how I see it. I don’t see how AI art is tasteless.
  18. @ZzzleepingBear You are right. I’m just stupid.
  19. @ZzzleepingBear If your talking about the joy of creating there’s nothing stopping you. If not, your analogy is simply flawed.
  20. @ZzzleepingBear uhhh, the food analogous makes no sense. why not make a really good smoothie with a blender instead of by hand. How you eat the smoothie (or look at your art) is totally up to you. I don’t see how AI art is like taking a food pill. You can see the results right? You can make AI generated art. Make a print and put it on a wall and enjoy looking at it for years. Nothing about how it was made says how you have to consume it. I mean, you could say that about how people consume art in the age of Instagram anyway. Your analogy makes no sense Also, There will likely always be a market for human made art.
  21. You can start small and cheap by modeling and then pitching your hardware to people who have the means. There are pitch events in that industry all the time.
