Thought Art replied to Razard86's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Yarco Yes, those who gaslight can be gaslit. That’s often how it’s learned also. Gaslighting doesn’t even need to fully manipulate the person. Sometimes someone gaslights so you get defensive and then it throws off conversations etc Like when someone blatantly straw mans and you or distorts your point. -

@Razard86 I didn’t really think you meant me personally. Seemed you were accusing the reader in general. I also wasn’t triggered. But, I thought you were denying the gaslighting exists. Which, is false. It’s a real behaviour and people can get gaslit into denying their own truth ahah. it isn’t only a defence mechanism that people accuse another of gaslighting. Which can happen and is a form of gaslighting. -

Don’t gaslight me bro. Gaslighting is when someone makes you doubt your own reality. Though your reality is accurate. It’s when someone manipulates you. Like, when someone bullies you for years and then you confront them and they gaslight you, denying the bullying ever happened. I find the post to be very murky, maybe a mixture of victim blaming with spiritual bypassing. I think when it comes to speaking about gaslighting there is the important distinctions between contexts, situations and what is the case. Sometimes someone is genuinely trying to gaslight you. You don’t need to be the victim, you can overcome it by being grounded in your own truth. Then, there are times when you accuse someone of gaslighting you, thereby gaslighting them. -
@StarStruck Are you reading his book Principals? I've started it and really enjoy it.

I personally found taking a short accounting program helped me vastly my income in just 8-10 months. Plus, learning administration and accounting skillset is really important if you want to be an entrepreneur over the long haul.

@Something Funny Qigong is the practice of directing and a balancing your life force energy. It involves stretching, breathing, tapping/ self massage, flowing movements and more. Where other forms of exercise focus on strength, endurance, flexibility, or sport specific skills Qigong is more focused on developing relaxation and suppleness in the body. Its also focused on balancing and directing the life force energy, and cultivating a more relaxed, balanced and harmonious inner life energy/ state. It’s almost a 180 compared to a lot of exercise. Qigong is essentially a moving mediation that involves what I stated above. Western yoga uses a lot of lunging type poses and postures while qigong is considerably less strenuous generally and is more flowing compared to postural. Focused on stretching…They are similar practices and shared a lot in their development. However, Qigong is more gentle, flowing and focused on balancing the life force energy. Where modern yoga holds postures Qigong flows and moves with relaxation. However, there are thousands of types of Qigong and some practices are more focused on stretching, spinal health, curing depression, lung health, the Heath of certain organs, moving energy through certain pathways, developing inner peace, improving protective Qi, relaxing, waking up the body, etc there’s so many types of Qigong. Qigong is from China, Chinese medicine Yoga is from India, aryuveda -
