  1. @MuadDib can I set that as my alarm some how?
  2. Have you tried not arguing with yourself? All paths lead to the same place jk
  3. @Danioover9000 I don’t know Willing to hear different opinions
  4. Yeah, it’s also pretty rare for him to call someone that. But it does happen. It’s not for everyone.
  5. But, see what you might be missing here is that… Maybe you can teach that people are God and tell them they are stupid, selfish motherfuckers that are full of shit. Being told you are full of shit, when it is done from a place of truth seeking is a gift. Like, this isn’t going to sound good to you. When most of the world is full of shit…. Well, then chances are you are full of shit. Being a stupid mother fucker that’s full of shit is like the default setting. I consider myself in the category. Why? Because I have insight into how much growth is ahead of me. For me it’s funny but, maybe you get your feelings hurt by it. This is why it’s fine that we all have different opinions. I don’t need to be told how good I am, how pure I am, how whatever I am like some teacher do to their students. Like Ralph smart telling his audience they are the chosen ones etc. At the same time, the only reason I take that from Leo in a positive way is because I’ve watched a lot of his work and I know what he means when he calls me stupid and full of shit and it’s not an insult to me. It’s just, we live in a dark age… https://www.actualized.org/insights/actualized-quotes-024 Leo’s overall message and 95% of his work is not like that. He isn’t being a dick 24/7.Generally, I think he is very kind, humours and truth oriented. It’s very positive and uplifting and powerful.
  6. @spiritual memes Okay, that’s fair enough. It personally don’t care about the language. Like, it really depends on context. If was like, really dug into thinking Buddhist framing was spirituality, and that only meditation would awaken me and Leo told me I was being a fucking idiot… well, that’s not wrong. I guess it depends because I know Leo from his videos. When a friend I know tells me I am being a fucking idiot I don’t cry and moan and think they are toxic and evil. They are just being human. But, it’s also context sensitive and maybe I would be offended and upset. Im spending time much time talking about this. Heading to sleep. Take care. Ever since I started following Leo he has had a way of being authentic. That means he contains a humanness that includes sometimes being assertive and biligerant. I’ve listened to like 200 hours or something of Osho’s talks. He also has his moments. When a teacher deals with so many people he sometimes gets upset. I think we have fantasy that a teacher is always nice. I don’t need him to be nice, or any other teacher all the time.
  7. @spiritual memes Okay, but what line did he cross? calling people stupid I’m a recent post? What exactly?
  8. @spiritual memes Not defending him. I just don't see it like you do. You are imagining things I think don't exist.
  9. No, that is not a definition of a cult. But, that IS a potential sign of cult like behaviour. However, I am not denying any such thing. Leo had some outbursts like weeks ago... They were a little strange. But at the same time. he leaves himself open to CONSTANT criticism. He bites back, and then you guys bitch and moan about it. However, is that ideal? Did he handle it in the best way? No. That is probably obvious, but that the same time. Sometimes you gotta be authentic and just say what you think. I am not enabling anyones behaviour. I am not a child, Leo is not a child. We are not a bunch of morons and I don't appreciate you here claiming I am some dumb fucking cult follower. I literally study every religion, and many different Gurus because they all have their own flavours and specialties. I am gonna keep saying that, but some of you guys are so dense and opinionated it's like speaking to fence.
  10. @spiritual memes Those are all words that YOU use. That is YOUR interpretation. Yeah, he had a couple rants recently. So what? I recently had a guy on the form here, going on and on and on about how Leo is toxic for his rant bla bla bla. And then this guy threatens to beat me up in private messages because I was dismissive of him little bit. Anyway, I think I am learning from these conversations that these views on Leo exist and people, and I just don't care. I enjoy his teachings, I like the work, I like the book lists, the principles, the forum. I also like that, Leo isn't exactly perfect and I don't agree with him on everything. No teacher is perfect. Ultimately, it's up to me to be my greatest teacher and figure this stuff out for myself. To think my own thoughts, create my own meaning, my own purpose, live my own life. It's not about any personality other than my own.
  11. @spiritual memes Go and read Leo's recent posts. He is just talking about whatever. Someone standing their ground in their opinion doesn't make them not have compassion. I don't really know if you watch Leo's videos but... his video today for example. A person without compassion and emotional intelligence would not have made that video. That being said, Leo is not really a people person. But, whatever. Everyone can be mean and an asshole to Leo, but God forbid he bite back from time to time.
  12. @spiritual memes It may not change what you are saying, but if you can't describe a cult, then you aren't saying much. Why not just insult everyone who follows someone, as well as that person just because I don't agree with him sometimes on a forum.
  13. Or, you really just have your own perspective and other people have different opinions. I bet you couldn't even right a paragraph on what a cult is.
  14. I think you can make a number of distinctions between the two, though in absolute terms they are the same. It’s really more about defining and understanding these things for yourself and then embody those values if they are your values
  15. DMT is weird
  16. @Breakingthewall ur so biased can’t you see that’s all just relative?
  17. Leo is best teacher of all time for me personally. But, he also has a different personality than say Osho. I enjoy Osho. I don’t really resonate with Sadhguru. But respect him. I like Wisdom, I like insights, I like philosophy, I like music, I like relationships, I like awakening, I like self help… etc in the end, if the guy was named Mark, who taught me how to master life and big picture thinking…. Or if her name was Sarah… it wouldn’t matter. The teacher doesn’t matter. Though… personality, presentation, and aesthetic do play a role for me. I like the aesthetic of his videos and the wisdom. Honestly, it’s just a great service for me.
  18. Good vid. Well thought out, nuanced, deep, caveats. Much like, very happy ?
  19. Yeah he does mention virtue and then many other nuances
  20. Well, I can objectively look at different political views. They don’t just cancel themselves out. The left and right aren’t equal. Doesn’t mean it’s not God, or Good with capital G.
  21. @Carl-Richard “True happiness cannot be purchased because it is the result of a well conditioned mind and lifestyle that takes years to cultivate”
  22. @MisterNobody Man, you are full of shit. The next time you do something, in your daily life that you are biased towards… you’ll maybe get a glimpse of how bad your politics is. Not trying to be offensive here. I hesitate to swear and say “shit” but sometimes I just gotta say it.
