  1. It should get boring eventually. You need to start living your own life.
  2. Imagine discovering authentic and amazing new states of consciousness and the challenges of teaching it to others. His videos of intro to philosophy, happiness, maturity? These are his latest videos. Stop whining and making up bullshit in your head.
  3. Imagine trying to eat food while you drink water. That’s mediation vs psychedelics. Not in the sense that psychedelics are food, and meditation is water. The roles could be reversed. What matters is, is that you awaken, if you want that. If you don’t want that and you want to enjoy a particular method or practice or vibe, enjoy that too. But, don’t take it as awakening. Without certain chemicals in the brain, you can’t know things. All of your humanity is a construct. So, adding a chemical into the construct that is already relatively arbitrary, you realize that all techniques and technology if they work are useful in this pursuit of awakening, becoming conscious and pursuing a good life. Mediation, yoga, contemplation, Qigong, etc etc… enjoy them, as they are part of the tapestry of human spiritual living. It’s in the doing, the pursuing and the enjoying of being… that life is beautiful. Focus more on waking up and being conscious than a particular attachment to a method, technique, school of thought, etc. Spirituality is a tapestry. Enjoy being alive. Wake up, if you want.

  9. @Leo Gura Does the research from the world value survey match the observations of Spiral Dynamics and Susan’s Ego developmental model?
  10. Hey, this stuck out to me. Can you explain this in more detail? For me… Ken Wilber’s quadrant model comes to mind which definitely accounts for things like, your level of awakening vs your level of “Growing Up” which is essentially what spiral dynamics and Susan’s Ego model measures. Because humans have different lines of development, different models are useful. Wilber talks about each quadrant: 1. Waking Up = Enlightenment, increasing consciousness, awakening 2. Growing up = Maturity/ Wisdom, Love, Education, values… 3. Cleaning Up = Shadow Work, cleaning up trauma and unifying the mind 4. Showing Up = How you embody your development I think you are underestimating Wilbur. Many of us here have yet to dive deeply into his readings… me included. Though, I have done some reading and I’ve listen to many of his lectures.
