Do you know much much you earn each month? Do you have a budget you set monthly and track your expenses? Have you given each dollars a purpose? Are you spending less than you earn? Why don’t you have a steady job/ source of income?

When you demonize, mock, belittle, lower, make stupid, project bad intentions on others who disagree with you… you are shutting yourself off to seeing the situation objectively. Please be wary of doing this.

@Nivsch Hey, I do respectfully suggest we don’t demonize news reports that are not favourable to Israel. The same should be true for news that isn’t favourable to Palestine. If something is true, like an event that happened and it’s being reported by news stations, and people on the ground in Gaza (many who are doctors from other nations) and to assume it’s lies is a problem in my opinion. If you simply deny and reject news you don’t like… it’s not adding to the thread. But, if you have proof something is false… that is different.

Either quit, or change your relationship with it. Start going out and socializing and doing the things you wanna do.

The amount of immaturity and self deception I’ve worked through over the years

Peace of mind is my number one goal in life I think. Central to how I go about creating balance and maturity in my life. Chasing fame or purpose or wealth is all nonsense. Though, wealth building is part of peace of mind.

@Danioover9000 Interesting interpretation. Thanks for sharing. I watched it, I don't know what is true. I generally watch things but don't cling to hard. But, I would question that interpretation as well. What if they were trying to figure out what was true? Not, simply twist things towards their bias? Or, what if they are biased toward one side, for some reason, and wanted to make one side look bad? How do we make that distinction when we watch news? How do we know the news sources we listen to are accurate? How do we know our interpretations of the news we watch is accurate and/or of high quality? How can we notice when our biases and triggers are distorting what is actually being said? How can we see or be aware of the bias of the particular news source we are listening to? How does recontextualization and insight play into understanding complex social situations and conflicts? What role does listening and observing multiple perspectives play into understanding what is true in a situation?

Don't just fear the famous guys. There are so many out there who you'll never hear of. Learn to spots the signs for sure.

Don’t turn solipsism into an identity or ideology. Why did it matter what the Buddha did? What do YOU do?
