  1. It’s about social calibration. So, you act stupid because you are emotionally intelligent
  2. @Someone here No, but what I’m saying at least allows for cartoon wolfs to be possible.
  3. But, there is “I” Language really breaks down I think at these awakenings. By creating a duality between “I” and awareness and consciousness I think that may be a problem. There… is I suppose the I beyond the finite I. The God I. The absolute, infinite, final, ultimate person is me. So, I can awaken to that. Because consciousness is absolute, I guess you are right in a sense. That, your finite dream self has to die for you to awaken. But, I think what is left then is an “I”. God I. I’ve been thinking about my experiences on 5meodmt and DMT, implications of solipsism and some insights I gained from Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita…. Toetle,,,, But, I also suspect the “character” can awaken. Because you as a human exist and are consciousness. Awakening to what you are as Svayam Bhagavan I am paradoxical and contradict myself because I contain multitudes There is still much I don’t know. I’m very humble. I really doubt I’ve had my deepest awakenings. I’m patient.

  5. Yeah but thats not likely. I may be wrong, but, how can that thing change the chemistry in your brain?
  6. Okay, but notice that being gay naturally occurs as well. Therefore it's natural. Not every member of a population needs to reproduce. There are some species that have population variances I am pretty sure. Plus, reproduction isn't the only thing that animals do. Even if a gay people don't reproduce... Women give birth to gay children... and will continue to... naturally. Even if it's a deviation... It's not unnatural, and that isn't really an argument that being gay is bad. Don't know, I have met many gay men in my life and they all seem pretty natural to me. Lot's of fun to spend time with. Some even HAVE KIDS. Biological kids. We have tall people, short people, smart people, dumb people, autistic people, gay people, straight people, all kinds of people. People people dancing on the people purple hat cheata print dancin on the people...
  7. @Yimpa I think thats true. I guess, we can add the ability to work through things, practice difficult conversations, conscious communication, and the ability to self reflect. I think a good guy in dating is also a leader. He knows how to be masculine and lead. He has a healthy integrated masculinity.
  8. I used part of this in my toast masters speech today on perseverance... Here was my script/ notes: What Separates those who go on to succeed at life and those who fail? Why is it that some people seem to be able to overcome great obstacles while others struggle with even the most basic of human challenges? Here is a quote from Og Mandino's book "The Greatest Salesman in the World" The prizes of life are at the end of each journey, not near the beginning; and it is not given to me to know how many steps are necessary in order to reach my goal. Failure I may still encounter at the thousandth step, yet success hides behind the next bend in the road. Never will I know how close it lies unless I turn the corner. Always will I take another step. If that is of no avail I will take another, and yet another. In truth, one step at a time is not too difficult. I will persist until I succeed. Perseverance is one of the key traits a successful person has. Without perseverance humanity would be no where near where it is today, in any field, or industry or area of life that makes human life rich, beautiful and worthwhile. ChatGPT "Perseverance is the unwavering persistence, determination and continuous effort to achieve a goal even in the face of difficulties, obstacles, setbacks or challenges." What if, when haven fallen deep in the darkness of a well… a young child did not refuse but to climb herself out and to once again see the light of day? Thomas Edison is famously quoted to have tried to create a light bulb and failed over a thousand times before he created the first commercially viable, fully functioning incandescent light bulb. Now, how many people have tried to achieve something and given up? I know I have. Often on what, the 1st failure? 2nd? Third? What if to have success in your dreams you needed to fail a thousand times but you only tried and failed twice? What if all that separated you from what you wanted in life was the willingness to try again? Nobel Peace Prizing winning activist for girls education Malala Yousafzai refused to give up her vision and purpose that girls deserve to go to school, and get an education. She refused even after being shot in the head by the Taliban who stood to stop her from doing what she believed is right. She did not cave into fear, she persists in her vision that all girls have access 12 years of free, safe, and quality education. Former professional boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter was falsely accused of a triple murder and spent nearly 20 years in prison. But, he never gave up fighting to prove his innocence. Instead of letting the harsh, dark and brutal reality of prison break his spirit instead he emerged a free man, with a golden heart. He spent his first years 10 years in prison studying law, writing books, and then becoming a deeply committed student of Truth. He would write the book "The sixteenth round" which would ultimately set in motion the turn of events that would see him free, with only a grade 8 education. Once free he would then go on to help free many other falsely accused people from their wrongful incarceration by working with various organizations who have the sole purpose of freeing the wrongly convicted. We can draw from these peoples stories incredible principles and personality traits that can be applied into our own lives… Whether we are changing the world, our industries, our community or our own lives these traits and principles are universal. Setbacks, obstacles and challenges do not mean we can't achieve our goals. Every successful person has faced challenges in their pursuit of success. Challenges come with trying anything. The obstacles we face hold in it the seed of our success. Optimism is key to dealing with setbacks and challenges. Without a healthy optimism we can fall into patterns such as learned helplessness which can hold us back from success. Growth Mindset: When we are trying to make changes in our lives, or in the world around us we generally start from a place of relative ignorance and lack of experience. We need to be willing to face the hard truths that reality throws at us and learn, grow and adapt in accordance to the reality we are presented. When we do that, we can move mountains. Purpose, and knowing our why… When we know why we are doing what we are doing it allows us to persevere despite the challenges and difficulties we are facing. Perseverance is a powerful trait to have as a human. It can be developed over time through practice and study. By reading books about people who have overcome great challenges, and studying the psychology of perseverance and then practicing it in our daily lives I believe we can begin to see great changes in our lives over the long term. Thank you

  22. Lyrics [Intro / Verse 1] Pistol shots ring out in the barroom night Enter Patty Valentine from the upper hall She sees the bartender in a pool of blood Cries out, “My God, they killed them all!” [Chorus] Here comes the story of the Hurricane The man the authorities came to blame For something that he never done Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been The champion of the world [Verse 2] Three bodies lyin' there, does Patty see And another man named Bello, moving around mysteriously “I didn’t do it,” he says, and he throws up his hands “I was only robbin' the register, I hope you understand [Chorus] I saw them leaving,” he says, and he stops “One of us had better call up the cops” And so Patty calls the cops, and they arrive on the scene With their red lights flashin' in the hot New Jersey night [Verse 3] Meanwhile, far away in another part of town Rubin Carter and a couple of friends are drivin' around Number one contender for the middleweight crown Had no idea what kinda shit was about to go down [Chorus] When a cop pulled him over to the side of the road Just like the time before and the time before that In Paterson that’s just the way things go If you’re black, you might as well not show up on the street Unless you want to draw the heat [Verse 4] Alfred Bello had a partner and he had a rap for the cops Him and Arthur Dexter Bradley were just out prowling around He said, “I saw two men running out, they looked like middleweights They jumped into a white car with out-of-state plates” [Chorus] And Miss Patty Valentine just nodded her head Cop said, “Wait a minute, boys, this one’s not dead” So they took him to the infirmary And though this man could hardly see They told him he could identify the guilty men [Verse 5] Four in the morning and they haul Rubin in They take him to the hospital and they brought him upstairs The wounded man looks up through his one dying eye Say, “Why did you bring him in here for? He ain't the guy!” [Chorus] Here’s the story of the Hurricane The man the authorities came to blame For something that he never done Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been The champion of the world [Verse 6] Four months later, the ghettos are in flame Rubin’s in South America, fighting for his name While Arthur Dexter Bradley’s still in the robbery game And the cops are putting the screws to him Lookin' for somebody to blame [Chorus] “Remember that murder that happened in a bar?” “Remember you said you saw the getaway car?” “You think you’d like to play ball with the law?” “Think it might-a been that fighter that you saw Running that night?” “Don’t forget that you are white” [Verse 7] Arthur Dexter Bradley said, “I’m really not sure” The cops said, “A poor boy like you could use a break We got you for the motel job, and we’re talking to your friend Bello Now you don’t want to have to go back to jail, be a nice fellow [Chorus] You’ll be doing society a favor That son of a bitch is brave and gettin' braver We want to put his ass in stir We want to pin this triple murder On him He ain’t no Gentleman Jim” [Verse 8] Rubin could take a man out with just one punch But he never did like to talk about it all that much "It’s my work", he’d say, "and I do it for pay" "And when it’s over I’d just as soon go on my way" [Chorus] Up to some paradise Where the trout streams flow and the air is nice And ride a horse along a trail But then they took him to the jailhouse Where they try to turn a man into a mouse [Verse 9] All of Rubin’s cards were marked in advance The trial was a pig-circus, he never had a chance The judge made Rubin’s witnesses drunkards from the slums To the white folks who watched he was a revolutionary bum [Chorus] And to the black folks he was just a crazy nigga No one doubted that he pulled the trigger And though they could not produce the gun The D.A. said he was the one who did the deed And the all-white jury agreed [Verse 10] Rubin Carter was falsely tried The crime was murder “one”, guess who testified? Bello and Bradley and they both baldly lied And the newspapers, they all went along for the ride [Chorus] How can the life of such a man Be in the palm of some fool’s hand? To see him obviously framed Couldn’t help but make me feel ashamed To live in a land where justice is a game [Verse 11] Now all the criminals in their coats and their ties Are free to drink Martinis, and watch the sun rise While Rubin sits like Buddha in a ten-foot cell An innocent man in a living hell [Chorus / Outro] Yes that’s the story of the Hurricane But it won’t be over till they clear his name And give him back the time he’s done Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been The champion of the world
