I think they were mostly clever stories easy to share and remember about human life, existence, nature and reality. -
List the things you want, the things you don’t want. Take small steps toward getting maybe a part time job. Baby steps first, but start getting experience. Also, maybe go to some events or something and make some friends who can have a positive influence on you… try toastmasters..

Hey, I’ve been through something similar. Relax. Take some time to contemplate and start taking small steps everyday. You’re gonna be okay. Keep going. 27 is relatively young. Is young enough to start for sure, and pace your own way.

@Zest4Life Thanks! There are many ways to relax for sure! Enjoy the exploration of your mind body! Learning to relax is a skill, even when your not exhausted. Though in Qigong we do activate before we do our flows and meditation. I was reading that Zen, actually was developed out of partial maps from Qigong. They only had a part of the picture. There’s many good fitness teachers. I’ve also been wanting to get into this guys work -

@Zest4Life Thanks for sharing Mike's stuff. I will check it out. I have seen him around. What Chang does it very Yang, is very active and it looks healthy and great. But, when it comes to quality Qigong, he isn't really doing that in this particular video. Even his Qigong I have seen he moves very quickly and tries very hard. Effortless Qigong my brand, and all the Qigong I admire is slow, chill, relaxing.. It can be challenging and there can be faster movements but it's focus is on the Qi, longevity, relaxation, etc. -

@Princess Arabia Say that to the lonely people -
I don't think that is good advice at all. I mean, if your family has that sort of approach to money and they want to support you etc that is good. But, becoming self reliant is important. Learning to make your own way in the world. Most people would piss away free money I think. Waiting for your parents to die so you can inherent their money. To me, that is silly silly.

Chatgpt could help you and then you can see and do the contemplations yourself. Ask prompts like... "What are the factors I should consider when choosing a place to life" and keep refining it to suit you and your contemplations. Your going to be considering things like job opportunities, cost of living, culture, family, environment, safety, etc. Eventually, your going to have to decide and you wont have all the information. But, you'll learn from deciding.

@funkychunkymonkey I also relate to that cringe. Part of why I was lucky to study under Lee Holden for Qigong. I don't really like, the feeling of when white people are really grasping at the culture which these techniques come from. I want to learn the core of the techniques, but I don't need to Chinese, Japanese, whateverness as much. It has some beautiful aesthetic qualities and I think it's important to respect the roots of techniques... But I try to avoid the culture cringe as much as possible in my Qigong teaching. -

@Princess Arabia I think people need connection. We need more leaders holding spaces for people to network and meet people at local levels all over the world. We need committed leaders creating healthy social containers. We need people willing to work to shift culture over the next 100 years. Solving the loneliness epidemic, the touch epidemic, the love epidemic, the trust epidemic will take a long time. -
Let the man do his thing. Focus on your own work. There is also plenty to review in old videos. Perhaps do an inventory on whats worth reviewing. I locked this just because I see a few of these pop up now and then. He will/may return when he is ready to. His reasons are his own. I don't speak for him obviously.

@UnbornTao Still, I think people not having friends and relationships is proving to be damaging to society. -

Addiction isn't a crime. It's a mental illness, running from pain. He may have committed crimes that is granted. -

@Danioover9000 I don’t think technology really solves the loneliness issue. This forum for example does nothing for my loneliness. Even, though I’ve been enjoying using apps like Pace and Meetup. -

I think if psychedelics are your only spiritual practice that would be a mistake. I think Zen can offer a lot to your daily life. I personally do not practice Zen, but have interest in learning about it more deeply. I think Zen, and its practice can help develop a mature mind. Especially in the age of constant distraction, stimuli, and toxic media… and all the bad influences. If you used Zen, in combination with journaling, contemplation, Qigong, psychedelics, reading spiritual books, etc and you did these things maturely you have a solid foundation for living a spiritual and contemplative existence. -
Does IPEC have a module and coaches to help you with that?
