  1. Thought this could be a useful video and channel to have in your commonplace book. I’ll be reviewing/ watching this video and others over the coming weeks. He has many shorter videos like this: Peace
  2. Before and after reading The Art Of Mastery by Peter Ralston
  3. The maturity video is very good. I’ve watched it many times now.
  4. Incredible
  5. Studying maturity helps as well, like the sun or a stick used to support the growth of a tree.
  6. Guilt free joy of taking mature, intentional actions.
  7. When trading you are not generating, materializing, creating etc any value. You earning it, because you invested... because you invested it allowed the company to generate, materialize, earn, etc. It's created in reality through the operations of the businesses, or the changing situations of the stock market. None of those words describe the same thing. They are similar, but they are not the same. If you also ask chatgpt for the definitions of those words you would see they are not the same, and why they are not used in certain contexts, or when discussing certain things. You might as well define the words as well as how they are used in sentences. It seems like you have a particular aspect that those words share, and have focused on it, while disregarding the actually meaning of those words and their contexts. Of course you could say generated, obtained, materialized, accomplished, realized, secured, attained, etc... because that is sort of true... But, not so much in the context of how we speak about it in business, english as a culture. English is very contextually sensitive. Each of those words are similar but they are not the same. You can say those words but they each carry varyingly subtle different contexts to them.
  8. I find it fun. Running is considered healthy, and the runners high is great, especially when you've built on your fitness.
  9. Yeah, been through it. That’s why I took a similar accounting program myself because I realized I was a financial retard. It’s a bit dry, but when you realize it teaches you the most foundational skills for success: time management, accounting, scheduling, organizing, writing emails, excel, etc it’s great. It’s a lot of work to piece it all together. My finances will be pretty simply. But, still it takes patience, truth seeking and effort.
  10. @Ramanujan No, not exactly. But, following along and taking notes of 5 hours of material is something few would do. It’s not that easy. Also, the video will give you a high level understanding. To really learn accounting takes years of practice.
  11. Life is what it issss
  12. I want to age like a bad ass
  13. Zebra
  14. It’s a lot of fun for me 😂 One of the most interesting things to learn about is God. Every time I talk to others it helps me review my understanding.
  15. I think there is kernels of truth in this. However, there is a level of connection that can be had with others you can have alone. External reality is also part of your internal experience.
  16. Could work through the book The Artists Way
  17. Can’t say for sure. Many different factors at play. It is definitely an advantage if you can honour your life and mind.
  18. @BojackHorseman I think you wrote some pretty useful observations of how you spend your time. I think it's up to you. Do you enjoy the way you are living right now? If not, what is one small change you could make to start feeling better? I can relate to the fear or shame around life purpose and creating. But, I wouldn't hide from it any longer. It's time to lean in and really look at this. Many of the problems like distractions etc, can be worked on. I also had ADHD, and it is a struggle sometimes but, I know people with ADHD can focus as well. A coach could help you here. Having someone you report to each month or to help keep you accountable, and to get coaching could be really useful. You don't need to learn much theory to make music. However, you should check out Holistic Song Writing and consider watching their videos, taking advantage of their free content or investing in the courses. You don't need to learn a lot of theory, and he can teach you the basic processes and structure of song writing so you can stop doodling and work on your dream album.
  19. @BojackHorseman Hey, I will respond tomorrow. I've read what you wrote and I am thinking about it.
  20. @BojackHorseman How are your habits? Would you want to tell us more about how you spend a typical week?
  21. What sorts of things are you doing to build your life, or pursue your purpose?
