  1. @Viking Boredom is the product of loneliness. If you can Be by yourself with contentment, then boredom is not possible. Incorporate a meditation habit and read up on consciousness practices. Those aren't exactly high quality hobbies and you should see it as a sign of progress that you are growing out of them. Use the time you would normally spend in your hobbies to improve yourself and work towards your life purpose. You can do this through Leo's Life Purpose Course, , visioning, strategic planning, etc. Check out the author Robert Greene, specifically his book Mastery. It shows how masters are made, traps to avoid, and provides a framework for creating massive value that you can provide to the world. If Truth Be Told by Om Swami is good too. It is a biography of a man who became a millionaire, realized material wealth and luxury was unfulfilling, gave away all of his money and became a monk. Very inspirational and shows the trap of a success oriented lifestyle and mindset.
  2. @Emiliano You cannot share an Insight per say. It is really only sharing knowledge. An insight can only happen in your direct experience. Anything you share with another person is just a concept or idea. You need to investigate the topics you want to learn about for-yourself. This applies to reading books, watching videos, etc. It is hearsay until you intuit an insight for yourself. insight noun the capacity to gain an accurate and deep intuitive understanding of a person or thing.
  3. @Rodrigo PF I am orange-Green-yellow stage. I have aspects of each stage. My thinking is more Green-yellow but I need to integrate Stage Orange aspects first. Conversations can be useful but most likely you are feeling lonely. It happens to all of us at times. Start to get serious about conscious work. Meditation and Contemplation. There are countless resources that can help you grow. If you feel you need to improve in a certain area of your life, there are tons of books on pretty much any topic you can think of. Read books on consciousness from Leo's book list.
  4. @Jacob Morres Robert Greene has amazing books on this topic. Check out The Laws of Human Nature, The 48 Laws of Power, The 33 Strategies of War, & The Art of Seduction. Other books: How to Be a 3% Man - This book is geared toward dating. The Red Queen - This book will help you understand why/how men and women are different from a scientific viewpoint. What Every Body is Saying - This book teaches you how to read body language. People use words to deceive, but by decoding body language, you will be better able to recognize deceit, uncertainty, attraction, repulsion, lies, etc.
  5. @Lews Therin Check out Peter Ralston's books. They are more pragmatic, personal, and grounded.
  6. @The_Alchemist I have over 130 books. I usually read about 5 books at a time. I'll read a couple chapters per day for each of the 5 books until I finish them. I don't like reading about the same thing for long periods. Sometimes I will start reading a book and realize that it is not a priority for me to be studying that certain topic. For example, I may start reading a book on politics, then realize that I need to be focusing on social skills, life purpose, and systems thinking.
  7. @NK13 You can either become wise (become part of the solution) from the adversities in your life or become part of the problem by being a victim.
  8. @The_Alchemist I don't use a schedule. I have things I want to accomplish and do them when most convenient. Meditation after I wake up. 1 hour minimum. Read 3-6 hours a day. (Since coronavirus) Light workout Nap in early afternoon I am working on incorporating a contemplation habit right now as well
  9. @Valach Don't worry about fitting in with society. They don't know what they are doing any more than you do. If your friends are holding you back, consider moving on from them and make friends with people you aspire to be like. Generally speaking, you will absorb the values of those who you are most commonly around. Add Contemplation as a habit to go along with meditation.
  10. @F A B Where to Invade Next by Michael Moore
  11. @egoeimai The Book of Not Knowing By Peter Ralston
  12. @egoeimai It's not an ebook but check out interviews with Sadhguru:
  13. @The Don You are stuck in your own head, worrying about what people think of you, trying to hide your flaws or ignorance from others. Me just telling you this and you believing me won't help you. Investigate why you are feeling awkward. Ask yourself: What belief or assumption about myself is causing this feeling? What am I trying to hide from this person I am speaking to? How am I trying to manipulate this person so that they will think highly of me? Learn about empathy. Become genuinely interested in other people. You need to understand human nature. Resources: The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene Start a meditation habit. Your mind will calm and you will be able to tune into others. Calm the monkey in your mind.
  14. @Ameer Leo takes off one month per year off to refresh his creativity and whatnot.
  15. @Justin Michael Watch Leo's videos on meditation. Here are a couple of links. A meditation habit helped me overcome my panic attacks. I haven't had one for 3 years since I began mediating. Hope this helps.
  16. @SS10 Contemplate your death. Realize that you are taking life for granted and that this is extremely damaging and is a major cause of your suffering. If you were truly passionate about life, you would be constantly working towards your highest values without the need for motivation. Find your passion! Ask yourself what you really want from life. If you don't know, which is likely given your post, then make it your priority to find out. There are plenty of resources on this just this website alone. Take this work seriously. You may not see the value in this work, but the more you learn, the more you will want to invest in this journey. Habits to begin practicing that are the foundation of this work: 1 Meditation 2 Contemplation
  17. @The_Alchemist Mastery By Robert Greene - Goes into much more in depth and breadth than George Leonard's book. (Highly recommend for those working on their life purpose.) The Laws of Human Nature By Robert Greene The Book of Not Knowing By Peter Ralston How to Be a 3% Man By Corey Wayne Guns, Germs, and Steel By Jared Diamond Leonardo By Martin Kemp Think and Grow Rich By Napoleon Hill Linchpin By Seth Godin She Comes First By Ian Kerner Shadow Dance By David Richo What Every Body Is Saying By Joe Navarro
  18. I have lots of interests and have trouble sticking with something long enough to get good at it. I like motorcycles, shooting sports, and outdoor adventures. I think the main reason I have avoided integrating these interests into my life is my location/living situation. I live in an anti-gun desert state that I can't afford to live in on my own. I think that moving to a new place (with forests) out on my own will not only allow me to pursue my interests more, but also give me space to really self-actualize without my family's bad influences and annoyances. I plan to move after the pandemic and I think it would be wise for others to ask themselves if they are in a place that suits their wants and needs, both geographically and socially.
  19. @seeking_brilliance I do archery as well. How do you find a high conscious community? I never considered such a place. I would imagine you'd have to use the Spiral Dynamics model to identify these places. I will take that into account and do some research. Thank you.
  20. @Thought Art What are your hobbies?
  21. I have been self actualizing for 6 years now, I am post-conventional cognitively but still need to work on some achiever level aspects of myself. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out Leo's 3 part series on Ego Development, they are foundational videos and will be referred to in future episodes.) Leo said at the end of The 9 Stages Of Ego Development - Part 3 that you can use the forum to contact people in your area. If anyone wants to reach out, feel free. I'm in Orange County, CA
  22. @ActualizedDavid The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene
  23. Hey Leo, have you read anything from Robert Greene? I just discovered him and noticed you don’t have him in your book list.
  24. Check out the author Robert Greene. You can watch his Joe Rogan Podcast visit and Interviews with Barry Kibrick on Youtube if you want. Best source I have found. Let me know what you think.
