Man I’m actually in a similar situation except with peeing. Long story short I was molested as a child and ever since then I can’t urinate when other people are nearby. Not even my girlfriend. For years I couldn’t use a public restroom at all. Then it got to where I can only use a stall but I’d have to be sitting down and no one else could be in the bathroom with me. Now I can use a stall in public while other people are in the bathroom but my body freaks out and starts to have panic attack if I try using urinal with other people around. My approach is slow and gradual exposure therapy. Baby steps, y’a know. That’s seemed to help me with it… That and talking with people about it. I went years without talking to anyone about this until recent and it’s been very healing to do so. Interesting how shit like this develops from childhood trauma haha.

I sit and think for hours. Put on some background music and eliminate all distractions (like TV, phone, friends, etc). I also like to have a written piece of paper with a few questions on it if I’m trying to direct the trip. The biggest thing though is eliminating distractions and being receptive to whatever it is the medicine is trying to show you. With regards to “remembering” your insights when you come down… to a certain degree these will be lost. The point of psychedelics is to expose you to those “peak” experiences such as god realization. You can’t stay there though. That’s just not practical for survival. So that part is normal to not remember all your insights. However you should be able to remember some of it and that’s the stuff you try to intigrate back into every day life.

I’d say try to connect with your intuition. Personally I’ve tripped the day after a breakup before and it was exactly what I needed to intitate the healing processes. Your internal compass will tell you what’s right for you.

Having my own place (not living with roommates or family) was HUGE in improving my quality of life. It helped me massively with focusing on my growth/development so the extra financial burden was well worth it for me. So given my experience I’d say pull the trigger and get your own place.

@Aleister Crowleyy dude I got multiple quality girlfriends from social circle alone way before I learned any theory or even what “game” is. Simply putting yourself into proximity of women is the single most influential thing you can do to improve your dating & social life. All your theory and adjustments don’t mean shit if you’re not out talking to women. Go out and talk to women first and THEN you can start to try out the stuff from the dating coaches like the RSD guys, Todd, Corey Wayne, etc. Learning to be social precedes getting laid.

Focus on being more social. Go out more and talk to women. It’s really that simple.

When I think about a cringey situation I try to feel into the cringe. I give my younger self a mental hug and learn to let go & smile about it. Cringey memories are also great milestones for how much I’ve developed throughout the years.

I need help gaining clarity in my relationships. Especially my intimate one. In most areas of my life (Health, Career, Spirituality, etc) I have a clear vision of what I want and am confident in how I will achieve it. In my relationships however, I find myself constantly waffling back and forth. This causes suffering to whoever my girlfriend is at the time because I have one foot in the door and one foot out at all times. I am stuck in indecision. Do y’all have any resources or tips in gaining clarity in what you want in a relationship?

Definitely need to do some healing work. I’d start by evaluating different areas of your life. Here’s one way you could do that. On a scale of 1-10 score yourself in the following areas… 1. Health 2. Relationships 3. Career 4. Financial 5. Spiritual Now target whichever area you feel improving would makes the biggest change in your quality of life. Congrats, you’ve begun your healing journey.

If morality is entirely relative then how is there such a thing as good and bad karma? I know morality is a byproduct of the ego to support survival needs but intuitively there seems to be a deeper sense of ‘rightness/‘wrongness’ that transcends morality. I’m struggling to understand why I’m viscerally against things like murder, torture, rape, etc. Is it simply because I don’t want it to happen to me? I don’t understand why I have this desire to minimize the suffering of others if morality is relative? For example, Leo does this by warning again suicide even though hypothetically there’s nothing wrong with killing one’s self. Can anyone make sense of all this? Is it simply a paradox that can’t make sense?

I’m currently on a 30 day carnivore challenge. I’ve done carnivore in the past and reaped the benefits from it. My goal now is to reduce inflammation in my body and “reset” my microbiome. I’m currently on day 22. I’ve felt great the entire time and learned a lot about my body. However, over the last couple days I started developing subtle stomach pains and diarrhea. Does this sound like SIBO die off symptoms to y’all? If not then what else could it be? Just wondering what in the world is going on. I haven’t changed the meats I’m eating.

Do you die when you dream? I know that’s a weird questions but that’s what it feels like to me. It feels as if this “ego” that I am during my waking life dies when I fall asleep at night. And vice versa. It feels as if the “dream ego/self” dies when I wake up into my normal day to day life. Sometimes I even cry in deep mourning when I wake up of the life that just passed. Does this make any sense to y’all? To be honest I’m still confused as to what exactly a dream even is.

@mw711 pretty sure that’s the stomach enzymes adjusting to the uptick in protein & fats. That usually only happens in the very beginning though. @Scholar Yea I agree carnivore will certainly reduce microbiome diversity. That said I think it can be a useful temporary tool in restoring gut & microbiome health. I’m planning to only do 30 days then systematically resintroduce veggies one at a time to see what my body does and doesn’t like. And with regards to the autoimmune reactions, yea in my experience my sensitivity to stuff that bothers me seems to increase. I think some of that has to do with the contrast of actually feeling good and then getting negative reactions vs always feeling like shit (as most people do) and then negative reactions. The later wouldn’t be as noticeable. @aurum Yea I’m vaxxed. It very well may have been unrelated to the diet. I was a bit stressed over those couple days so maybe that was it.

Spend a couple minutes in a seiza position every day. If you have healthy ankles, hips, low back etc then you’ll be able to hold it for at minium a few minutes
