  1. @Arcangelo Many of them voted for him because he ran on an anti-war platform to focus more on improving their financial lives. He obviously lied, but their intention wasn't to have this war. Same with democrats who were ignorant about Hillary Clinton's potential for committing more war crimes and who believe their local corporate democrat politicians would resist Trump when they actually ended up giving him everything he wants by voting for an increase in the military budget, pulling out of the nuclear treaty with Iran, and increasing sanctions in Iran. It's the job of the informed to spread consciousness to other voters. The systemic problem here is money in politics, not Donald Trump, who is merely a symptom. Even if we get a progressive like Bernie Sanders elected as president, we can't just sit back, relax, and trust that he'll do everything right. We need to stay informed and go to the streets to ask for the things other politicians may be resisting to give us and vote for other progressives. We didn't do this when Obama was president, which is why he got away with screwing us over by bailing out wallstreet for trillions of dollar, making the Bush tax cuts to the rich permanent, enforcing TPP and NAFTA, passing a republican healthcare plan, not increasing worker pay even though the cost of living went up, building concentration camps at the southern border, and bombing 7 different countries while having a 90% civilian death rate.
  2. @Hatfort This is Trump and the Republican's around him's doing, but let's not ignore the people who also laid the groundwork to enable them to do this and who are currently not doing anything productive to actually resist him and expose this as a criminal act of war.
  3. @Hatfort I am in favor of it, but not for the the reason that they ended up choosing because it's weak and lacks sufficient evidence.
  4. Trump was caging kids (torture; crimes against humanity), Trump's rape allegations, Trump was arming terrorists who are creating a genocide in Yemen, Trump violated the emoluments clause on day 1, Trump was lying to us about our presence in Afghanistan (is what the Pentagon papers published in the Washington Post revealed about his, Obama's, and Bush's administrations). There were many strong reasons to impeach him 3 weeks ago.
  5. @Hatfort The facts are that they do not oppose this war, otherwise you'd see them speaking out more about not going to war, instead they just disagree with the strategy. They voted for more sanctions on Iran. They voted to increase Trump's military budget. They voted to pull out of the nuclear treaty with Iran. Why? Well, look at who pays them. Bernie, Tulsi, and Justice Democrats didn't vote for any of these. Why? Look at who doesn't pay them.
  6. @Leo Gura CNN is propaganda for Time Warner. MSNBC is propaganda for Comcast. ABC is propaganda for Disney. And Fox News is a circle jerk for Rupert Murdoch's ego ?.
  7. @Leo Gura Hmmm yea that's true, he does make a stronger case for how the wars go against American interests than he does for reducing harm on foreign people.
  8. "It's hard for Democrats to be against war because they profit off war." This is the reason why they'll impeach Trump on a stupid phone call but won't do it on the killing of a key figure in Iran without congressional approval. Corporate Democrats won't even support Tulsi Gabbard's "No More Presidential Wars Act" nor the "Stop Arming Terrorists Act" nor the Censure she proposed on Donald Trump. Let's understand the systemic problem here.
  9. @Serotoninluv He's too dumb to be a mafia mob boss, he'd already have been caught. He isn't ruthless enough to be stage red and he doesn't have any mystical beliefs, but he does know how to use religion to try to manipulate the Republican voters. The man also had climate change policies in his hotel, and has shared comments in the past about running as a Republican if he ever were to run because the voters are dumb and easy to manipulate. These are very stage Orange rational tactics to fend for oneself.
  10. @Serotoninluv He is not stage red, he is very much stage orange like most billionaires.
  11. @Blanchflower There's different types of intelligence. Moral, literary, emotional, physical, etc.
  12. @Leo Gura I find myself strangely agreeing with Tucker Carlson's recent opinions on war though, but that's because they're anti-interventionist. I think that's the only major issue I agree with him on though.
  13. @Nivsch What I mean by Israeli elites is Netanyahu and his corporate circle.
  14. @Nivsch The Israeli elites want more money...
  15. @Nivsch You are being too biased here and are assuming all countries around Israel are crazy evil dictatorships that want to destroy Israel out of jealousy. Try to look past this bias and recognize what all this is really about. The Israeli elites wants to gain more power, as do the American multinationals and Iran is a huge prize for them because of their massive oil reserves. That's what this all comes down to, oil. If the US has lied multiple times already to get us into every single war since after WWII, why are you giving them the benefit of the doubt? Even in recent history, we know the US led about incubators, WMDs, gas attacks, and now Iran building nuclear arms and Soleimani being a danger to America and Israel even though he was helping to destroy ISIS.
  16. Now that the US is waging war on Iran (Russia's ally), I wonder if the Democrats will continue the notion that Trump is Putin's henchman.
  17. @Nivsch We pulled out of the INF treaty even though Iran did absolutely nothing. We're allowed to have nuclear arms to "defend" ourselves but Iran isn't? Sanctions hurt innocent people.
  18. @Paul-from-France The fact that he gets paid by multinationals tells me he know a lot of the crap he says is BS. He is purposefully misleading his audience.
  19. @Nivsch If the US sees the statistics of how many civilians die each time they launch an airstrike and then they continue to launch thousands of them anyway, then they are intentionally killing innocent civilians. We didn't have to bomb school buses or weddings. If the US knows statistically the millions of people that die in result of our sanctions on countries like Iran and Venezuela, preventing food and medicine from entering their countries, and they continue to do it anyway, then they are intentionally killing innocent civilians.
  20. @Bill W Are you implying that you believe in the Russiagate nonsense?
  21. @Brenzo2 Leo has said before that "Trump is on a class of his own" in terms of corruption, that he is the most corrupt president we've ever had. He also said in that post that waging war with Iran was the greatest concern about Trump, when actually Hillary and the DNC was being more hawkish than he was being and we were already bombing 7 different countries under Obama. I agree with Leo's statement about the media rephrasing the topic.
  22. @Raptorsin7 It really goes against the anti-interventionist 2016 Trump though. I think that tough guy act will only work with the minority sycophants who voted for him, not the anti-war Republicans and Independents who voted for him.
