  1. Some sharing. After a day of having been pushed out of my comfort zone (inferior introverted Sensing), a year of meditation and one Vipassana retreat I as well had this insight. Everything is meaningless, and out of this point of singularity and nihilism all meaning can be created. I create value/worth/meaning. I had written down the process of the Vipassana retreat's insight immediately before and during the realization. I would like to share it, but it is in German, so I would have to translate it; some things are lost in translation, including words that describe an experience. Vipassana GERMAN.pdf Vipassana ENGLISH.pdf Now, I forgot the experience of the insight itself. I just know the words and the intellectual meaning behind them [Is here protection/self-deception at work because it would have destroyed i/identity/ego? I feel everyday how I am deliberately choosing my identity and the clinging to meaning in my identity.] Does someone know a way for me to regain this insight? Memory/past is a dream; dreams are like sand. The experienced insight of the memory vanished. @Nahm Please, can you illuminate my past sneakiness?
  2. @Martin123 Beginner question: How can you block someone on the forum?
  3. Thank you. This really connects me to Beauty. Wisdom
  4. @Vladz0r I thank you despite you haven't watched the series. It is good to hear another perspective. Uhuru Kenyatta is a curious one. It came across to me that people who work with drive and inspiration in their career would be payed the same as someone working 30h per week. Hmm, now I sense that the 30h are connected to the living wage, and anybody can work more and thus get payed more. Be sure to watch/hear the videos Leo suggested in Part 1 for proper understanding.
  5. Now today I finally got to hear the last part of conscious politics. Note that the quotes are not the literal words he used, but the meaning of it. Also note that I find these proposals stunningly attractive and want them implemented right now, but there are some possible consequences and aspects which I want to explore further. 1:38:46 What is with the old gen that acts as counselors for new gen? Do you see the possibility that they use the new gen as marionettes through brainwashing/manipulation? Won’t this create bootcamps purposed for new gen for the old gen to brainwash their ideology into their new gen’s minds? However, the implementation of this one outways the unforseen consequences. 1:40:24 What is with people who work on their life purpose and invest all their life into it? They should be free to invest their time as they want it. Shouldn’t they be compensated for their work? Maybe I haven't fully grasped the idea of how it works for people who want to work more because they see it as creative play. 2:11:23 Is also cooperation beyond giving material resources included like helping out with infrastructure and building fulfillment structure for basic needs? Thats it for now. PS: Important insight about human life in general: Especially the last hour of Part 4 was particularly juicy. @Leo Gura you enable us be creators. With the life purpose we become creators. This is so beautiful that I cried. This vision is Beauty. It all connects. It is whole.
  6. @act2000 Thank you. I will check it out.
  7. How do they suck? Gemme a list. I start with what you gave. I don't know what topics to talk to girls about. I don't have much experience with women ... The only one here you go against and this is yourself. Stop competing. This is your game. Other than that, talk about any topic that comes to your mind. Whatever you want to talk about. What makes you feel alive. Let go of any upcoming resistance. (Meditation helps with this.) "But I will embarrass myself." Yeah, the only one you can embarass is yourself. Accept yourself now fully as you are. Start small. Take bigger steps when it feels right.
  8. What can catch the mind and manipulate the beliefs? Is there intent? Is it simply done to create? How does the process of believing work? Through thinking / being / feeling ?
  9. I googled that it could be meant as God or Spirit. What is the role? How does it fit into Spirituality?
  10. @Nahm @Name I get the hunch that this is especially for you.
  11. Is 'letting go' practiced by focussing on 'doing' something else? Could it be the process towards a want or achievement/fulfillment/realization of it that means expansion and thus letting go?
  12. @Anderz Your experience is inconsistent. Look at your different states of consciousness.
  13. @Rasheed Do you want to reprogram your beliefs to be a more functional being for better survival? Why is it important? What is there when you visualized all that you can think of? What would you gain or get when all visualisations would manifest?
  14. @Nahm
  15. How to differentiate between wanting and needing? Wanting assumes the will to expand and needing the thought of lack, that there is something missing? Is expecting (a better feeling will come and cause expansion) or needing (there are no better feelings in my awareness) resistant thought?
  16. @Rasheed When taking a test you read all the questions first to gain an overview and prime your reticular activating system for the distribution of valued/addressed aspects. As you start answering the questions you subconsciously process the other questions and filter out the most important info. First watch the videos without taking notes to gain an overview and general feeling of addressed topics - maybe jot down few things that you feel to be important. Now after watching, take notes of the impotant remarks. Rewatch the video again and add additional notes if necessary.
  17. Even my suffering and resistance to letting go are illusory. Haven't I internalized the seeing/feeling/knowing/being of my hollowness enough? Haven't I suffered enough? I work on shifting my identity to be functional in current circumstances through writing a behavior change journal and daily affirmations (will also pick up a dream board). My present one has served me and now seems to become a hindrance. I don't want to suffer, but I know suffering is the way. It is inevitable that I will eventually radically change/overcome/override myself due to my suffering. My survival is at risk when I resist to change. Ironic, to survive I must let go of surviving (at least temporarily). I sense that I haven't done enough but wanted to hear your observations anyway. PS: I guess this could also be partly suited for the sub self-actualization.
  18. @erik8lrl So just be? The insight of meaninglessness or let go of letting go? Edit: Maybe both.
  19. @Rigel I got glimpses of illusion in deep meditation - I see the possibility that its appliance to other aspects could be a fallacy. There would be no question left. Suffering is an interpreted sensation which is based on a filter of thought/opinion (although, I need more contemplation for seeing its essence). I identify suffering as bad and avoid it - I see myself as good. In the past, suffering caused change because pain and following suffering would be avoided. @Nahm Tuning out would do good for now. @erik8lrl All is meaningless, and I assign meaning to all that serves me - because all is without value I can create value out of nothing. This insight seems to not be fully integrated because I think to have to let go of the conviction that it has meaning. Thank you for your perspectives. I have to reread your questions many times more.
  20. @Space Agreed. All comments regarding Leo's initiating comment should be moved (mine moved too or removed). CreamCat and Ibn Sina gave their personal views and didn't seem to discredit the example for green in the videos. Wandering off is useful but not for this thread.
