Makes sense. -

@act2000 Thank you. I will check it out.

How do they suck? Gemme a list. I start with what you gave. I don't know what topics to talk to girls about. I don't have much experience with women ... The only one here you go against and this is yourself. Stop competing. This is your game. Other than that, talk about any topic that comes to your mind. Whatever you want to talk about. What makes you feel alive. Let go of any upcoming resistance. (Meditation helps with this.) "But I will embarrass myself." Yeah, the only one you can embarass is yourself. Accept yourself now fully as you are. Start small. Take bigger steps when it feels right.

What can catch the mind and manipulate the beliefs? Is there intent? Is it simply done to create? How does the process of believing work? Through thinking / being / feeling ? -

I googled that it could be meant as God or Spirit. What is the role? How does it fit into Spirituality? -
@Nahm @Name I get the hunch that this is especially for you.
-
Is 'letting go' practiced by focussing on 'doing' something else? Could it be the process towards a want or achievement/fulfillment/realization of it that means expansion and thus letting go?
-
@Anderz Your experience is inconsistent. Look at your different states of consciousness.

Loving Radiance replied to Rasheed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Rasheed Do you want to reprogram your beliefs to be a more functional being for better survival? Why is it important? What is there when you visualized all that you can think of? What would you gain or get when all visualisations would manifest? -
@Nahm
-
How to differentiate between wanting and needing? Wanting assumes the will to expand and needing the thought of lack, that there is something missing? Is expecting (a better feeling will come and cause expansion) or needing (there are no better feelings in my awareness) resistant thought?
-
@Rasheed When taking a test you read all the questions first to gain an overview and prime your reticular activating system for the distribution of valued/addressed aspects. As you start answering the questions you subconsciously process the other questions and filter out the most important info. First watch the videos without taking notes to gain an overview and general feeling of addressed topics - maybe jot down few things that you feel to be important. Now after watching, take notes of the impotant remarks. Rewatch the video again and add additional notes if necessary.

Even my suffering and resistance to letting go are illusory. Haven't I internalized the seeing/feeling/knowing/being of my hollowness enough? Haven't I suffered enough? I work on shifting my identity to be functional in current circumstances through writing a behavior change journal and daily affirmations (will also pick up a dream board). My present one has served me and now seems to become a hindrance. I don't want to suffer, but I know suffering is the way. It is inevitable that I will eventually radically change/overcome/override myself due to my suffering. My survival is at risk when I resist to change. Ironic, to survive I must let go of surviving (at least temporarily). I sense that I haven't done enough but wanted to hear your observations anyway. PS: I guess this could also be partly suited for the sub self-actualization. -

@erik8lrl So just be? The insight of meaninglessness or let go of letting go? Edit: Maybe both. -

@Rigel I got glimpses of illusion in deep meditation - I see the possibility that its appliance to other aspects could be a fallacy. There would be no question left. Suffering is an interpreted sensation which is based on a filter of thought/opinion (although, I need more contemplation for seeing its essence). I identify suffering as bad and avoid it - I see myself as good. In the past, suffering caused change because pain and following suffering would be avoided. @Nahm Tuning out would do good for now. @erik8lrl All is meaningless, and I assign meaning to all that serves me - because all is without value I can create value out of nothing. This insight seems to not be fully integrated because I think to have to let go of the conviction that it has meaning. Thank you for your perspectives. I have to reread your questions many times more. -
@Space Agreed. All comments regarding Leo's initiating comment should be moved (mine moved too or removed). CreamCat and Ibn Sina gave their personal views and didn't seem to discredit the example for green in the videos. Wandering off is useful but not for this thread.

Haha, I quit video games and twitch to eliminate distractions. I can confirm this. -
@Serotoninluv Beautiful, thank you.

@pluto Agreed, same situation here.

I experienced this many times; I usually feel sadness because I am not understood and deep understanding love because I see why they think in that way. In the end you can just move on because self-bias keeps you ignorant. -
Assuming you are have little work experience and no money. A stable group of friends with regular activity, a healthy relationship with your family and a strong work ethic are essential, but if not the case you must handle these as soon as possible, right after you begin to earn money. Searching a decent paying job, earning money, setting foundational mindsets for mental clarity, learning how to invest, start investing for more financial freedom (this early because for fruition one has to saw the seeds early) and continuing it along the way, buying and doing the LP course, strategizing what skill sets are needed to achieve my LP, educating myself via internet learning platforms and communities, starting business or getting employed with my learned skills, working on skills, changing/enlarging the field of activity in my business/job according to my new skills, searching mentors in my field along the way, ... Mental clarity and spirituality can be done along your path.

@Lento You intuitively know the said things to be true, but you can see yourself not adopting it because it threatens your survival as the identity you have identified with. You will resist adopting it because it means changing and killing (or letting go or un-valuing) of your self-image.

@Conscious life I do contemplation using the journal.
-
Every morning I write in my journal as I can see myself putting it lower on my priorities as the day progresses. Once or twice every month I forget it altogether. Every day has a new topic which adresses my ignorance, self-deception and human problems/worries. I keeps me excited because every topic offers new aspects to explore. It's fun to see yourself thinking and uncovering thought pattern that make no sense and have no basis. With every day there are new perspectives to explore which add to my understanding that my perspective is just another one in the infinite seeming library of perspectives. Seeing yourself clinging to your beliefs and values helps you to understand yourself and other ppl. By examining your inner working you examine the world.
