  1. You mean due to being invested too much? Is this advice applicable to every guy?
  2. You can certainly influence the content but not the structure that enables the content in the first place. What you measure is what you measure. You interpreting the measurement as consciousness is an interpretation.
  3. Haha, I got that too by looking at photos & videos of myself This person in the mirror is not me and somehow this one pretends to be me. Strange loopy. I don't know if that is coming from the constructed me or aware I. I don't care. Seems like a nice gimmick. Edit: lol, who is aware of not caring? Seems like it's the constructed me.
  4. @Leo Gura There are already many in Germany (where we both live). It just needs awareness through the right marketing & spiral wizardry to influence politics. @supremeyingyang Actually, transforming a school or already working in a 'conscious' school is a good foundation for greater systemic change. Using the learned wisdom of operating in your school and extrapolating the principles to one state and then on the national level seems to me to be a valid approach.
  5. +1 If you are seriously passionate about bringing about change and improving society then search for companions: Join a party and engage in it Search for university discussion groups/communities Search (progressive) think tanks with the focus on education You would strike gold, if you have an inclusive approach for all your fellow citizens. However, even the best policy & system change appraoach requires serious marketing.
  6. @yiyinspired Have you got the message from Nahm?
  7. @ColeMC01 Looking good is of course an important factor. Rather than focusing on the content, look at the structure: What does constitute his being other than him looking good? You can look 10/10 and still be socially uncalibrated & awkward (through believing negative thoughts about yourself for example).
  8. @Giancarlo Models by Mark Manson For keeping convos going... there are too many videos out there. Just write down the most important 3 points that you can implement right now and you would be good. The more you are having convos the more natural and free-flowing it gets. Pick any topic, like stars. What is connected to stars? A space movie you watched recently, the inspiring message a glimmer of a star can hold to mankind, your fascination with the sciency facts about our sun, what's your wish when you see a shooting star... talk about whatever you like what comes to mind, which inspires you and makes your heart burn. Make it authentic to you. Bring your emotion in it & be invested in the topic that it moves you (while being grounded & holding it loosely at the same time). Curiously, writing the contemplation journal that Leo recommended enabled me to feel that fire inside.
  9. @PurpleTree IME the pull of collective ego is quite strong in group meditation as it was easier to concentrate. We did anapanasati and vipassana meditation.
  10. @roopepa It's not about working but you wanting to manifest that what feels good.
  11. @roopepa Write world peace & the end of hunger & saving the world on it. Does it resonate; does it feel good
  12. @Charlotte I could give you a long list of fears, but I assume you want to see the structure. Observations: Fear is future; the past is projected to be future. The future can be projected to the apparent present (& is then infused with narrative). Fear is a nice self-deception to distract from the maintaining/upholding of identity/character and reinforces the apparent validity of identity's existence. Fear is a direct pointer to the frame of reference: What you think you are is connected with what you fear. Personal findings: I want to radiate my being and in most times it is that what I was conditioned to be. Conflicts of authenticity & conditioning do not feel good as fear is created to act in accordance to conditioning. Fear is survival of what I belief I am. Letting go of fear is letting go of my identity. Letting go of fear is my death. Correlations / patterns: Fear is mostly there in relation to other beings be it humans, dogs, ... Staying in the personal narrative is 99% of the time not triggering fear as I am comfortable.
  13. @neutralempty How did it go?
  14. @Raptorsin7 When reflecting back, how did it evolve?
  15. Do you mean this thread here? I feel like Martin misunderstood you that he should apologize. I asked again if he acknowleges Leo's point and still he was convinced. I feel like getting lost in content. Gotta stay present. Rationalizations are dragging someone into conversations and then using everything as a steppingstone to project on to and then denying to have done so by 'dancing around' that what would hurt the character?
  16. Looking forward to hear how it goes
  17. Does that mean you start to practice communication & being in social setting through online video chats after the regulations loosen up?
