Carl Jung's theory on the collective unconscious. I've always been interested in how patterns across civilizations that never knew of each other or are not known to have interacted with each other have come up with similar or same things. Pyramids in South America, Central America and Africa. Or elements of parapsychology that are shared across unrelated cultures. Like ghosts, people that can see into the future, etc. why do so many ancient cultures that did not interact with each other have a belief in these abilities and phenomenon?
