I kind of appreciated the post right above because it's not just about the substance and you. In any case some alarm bell resonates strong whenever i read or hear about ADDICTION and/or DEPENDENCY justifying ABSOLUTE ABSTAINANCE as it reminds me of these simple keywords to offer to those looking for the counter-part of it: "Fix-my-Kid", "Kids-for-Cash", "Narconon Trois-Rivières". Holier-than-you attitudes in face of a camera can actually hide monsters behind, keep that in mind before risking to fall into yet another mind-control game...

When one kills i find that alone renders him a bit less human, by loosing a part of his humanity, so it's not even about a sense of "justice" or revenge from other guy's perspective. henc if KILLING life is unworthy of decent evolved/emancipated (...) humans then it must be banned and actually it's no consideration for those risking an execution in countries supporting the death penalty, like China over drug smuggling, etc. Murder is simply unworhy of me, legal or otherwise.

Good, this is one reason why to invite different perspectives. Same page then... At the moment in Québec the tragedy of Joyce Echaquan provides quite some stricking hint in such matters: a coroner concluded her multi-toxicomany (including cannabis...) contributed to her death, in a hospital... I myself experienced denial of appropriate medical assistance for just mentioning the "c" word. It seemed very real to me: they do nothing helpful and yet get paid for it, that's what it felt like exactly on my way back home. Similar to cops patrolling our beatiful wilderness on winter, riding the vast fields on snow-mobiles, etc. The KILL of Bony Jean-Pierre in Montréal-Nord must have created an abyss between what it's supposed to be vs the institutionalized mess this has become, failing to self-correct at every step: a political consequence ultimately. By helping them to stay alive 1st perhaps? I was reading about the respiratory function going south and threatening our mowt vital organ unless it's OKay to get parked in a zoo: the brain, as it requires oxygen all life long.
