Confidence in a nutshell: the ability to remain composed and content in any given situation, whether failing or succeeding.

Yeah, she sounded crazy from the jump. 'You're hot as fuck' within one minute? that's the oldest trick in the unstable chicks playbook. Well done for getting out of it and coming to your conclusion. Are there any good places for you to meet a girl more aligned with you? I'd suggest a bookstore or 'spiritual' meet up group. Good luck.

I checked it out briefly. Not sure. Will have to look more into it. Some of the stories were intriguing, most were debunkable. -
1 A couple of years ago, I embarked on a trip. I booked an airbnb just a short walk away from where I lived at the time so I could trip in peace. On my way there I noticed, just around the corner from the place I had booked out, one of my housemates and his friends walking up ahead. The house I was living in at the time was a shared house for the homeless - the next step after staying in the hostel for a time. Anyway, my mind was racing a bit, as it usually does before a trip. I started thinking 'Oh God, what if he sees me get the key and go in this place? What if he tells the shelter that I actually have a place of my own? What if he calls the police and I'm tripping my nuts off?', the kinda shit you might think about when the ego doesn't want to go on the trip. I couldn't shake the idea that he somehow saw me go in and would grass me up to either the police or the shelter. I knew it was just my mind trying to back out of the trip so I wasn't too concerned, but the thought remained with me until about 30 minutes after dropping. The trip turned out to be absolutely amazing and I plan to write a report on it soon. However, during the trip, the thought of 'What if the police show up? What if my landlord shows up?' would creep in every now and then. I was experiencing deep, cosmic love so I didn't care. I was even inviting them in, 'Come in. It's okay. Come in.', I was saying. Of course nobody was there but me, but in case they were at the front door I wanted them to know that I loved them and they are welcome to come in. Lol. So I'm coming down some hours later and I hear a helicopter right above the house I'm staying at. I text my girlfriend and ask her if anything's been reported happening in this area, she said something had, thought nothing more of it. The next day I pack up and head home. I'm home for about 20 minutes and there's a knock on the door. I hop off my bed and look out the window and it's a big police car. Shat myself, obviously. Tried to regain composure and went to answer the door. Turns out that my housemate (the one who I had seen before the trip) had his motorbike stolen the previous night and the police were here this morning to discuss it further with him. How fucking strange?! 2 In the last year or so I left my hometown, coming back to a big city I had a stint in several years ago. Back in my hometown I was living with a bunch of shitheads, private renting. Anyway, it's a regular day for the most part. I'd had some trouble sleeping, up most of the night actually. I was listening to Leo's Theories Of Everything with Curt, I think part 2. Some of the things that were said on there really seemed to hit me, especially when Curt was asking about love and Leo's occasional emotion when talking about God & Love. That morning, I think I got a little hit from the podcast and from the memory of my own experience of the aforementioned deep, cosmic love. So the morning is in full swing, probably 10am, and I hear someone come into the house. Assumed it was one of my housemates. The noises coming from downstairs, however, were uncharacteristically brash. A few minutes later the front door shuts again so I get up and look out the window to see who it was. I call out to the guy standing on my driveway. Lo and behold, it is one of the massive shitheads from my old place back in my hometown. A good 45 mins to an hour drive away. God, I fucking hate that guy. In fact, this dude was such a dickhead that when I moved out of that place, while he was at work, I went for a shit and wiped my ass and wiped my shitty tissue on his bedroom door handle. LOL. Not very loving or conscious, I know. But fuck man, here he is, on my driveway. After a morning of getting back in touch with the love I know is always part of me, however prevalent or obscured. He was there because my landlord had hired his company to sort out the garden and shit. After chatting with him briefly and seeing him off, I closed my window, stunned. Then just started laughing. 'Oh, you've had a morning of rediscovering love, PlayOnWords? Okay, love this.', said the Universe. There's no doubt in my mind that there's something deeper going on here than mere coincidence. Have you had similar experiences? I remember somebody saying that the Universe is always trying to show you, always trying to say 'Look!', and I do believe it's the case with these two experiences.

I don't know, man. Sounds like you need other views. Separate the wheat from the chaff is one of Leo's most used idioms, and noise vs signal is a novel concept he spoke of briefly some time ago if I'm not mistaken. All this to say, maybe you could do with branching out a bit. Doesn't have to be on here though, and of course, some of the things posted on here are trash.

@The Redeemer I'm concerned by the things you are saying. Is there any thing I can do to help? Not in terms of cheering you on while you deliver punishment but in terms of getting you out of this headspace.

If only it was as easy as letting go. But that does not mean that you have to be condemned to live a life of misery. I know it's cliche but it sounds like you really need to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and do something to start making a shift in your experience. I have been doing Jin Shin Jyutsu for a while now and I recommend it to you as well. There should be a practitioner near you somewhere. Do some research on it and make an appointment with someone. Jin Shin Jyutsu works by opening up the energy pathways in the body, helping the life energy, or chi, to become balanced again. It's done using the hands so there's no scary needles or anything like with acupuncture. Give it a try.

So you show her a video of someone saying period pains ain't shit in the hopes that she's like 'lol, well how about I kick you in the nuts?' and then you go 'go for it, baby.' Am I close? I think this is a great video for you. He also has another one that basically goes like this: the best pick up line is simply Hey. Hey, I like your top. Hey, you seem interesting. Hey, how are you today? I actually couldn't find the video I was looking for which is the latter, but the stuff that's in the video above I do every day. On my way to the shops I nod and smile at people, I say hi or good morning to people as I walk past them or at the bus stop. Eventually it stops becoming weird and it's just a nice, human thing to do. There's no need to pull elaborate DikDok schemes. Sounds crazy but eventually you can get to the point where you can literally say (almost!) anything to a girl and if you say it from a place of confidence, assuredness, playfulness, authenticity blahblahblah, then she'll at the very least reciprocate.

I accept you. For what it's worth. Are you currently in some kind of therapy? Do you have any relationships outside of your family that you can look to for support and connection? These two things sound like good starting points for you. I'm tempted to say, however, that the roots of your suffering come from childhood. Is this the case? I know it was for me and I've had to do a lot of work on that shit to heal.

Well, you don't have to be quite so crass about it but yeah that's the general idea. I don't use TikTok so I have no idea what sort of videos you are showing these girls. And I'm even further puzzled by what the invitation to do something with you is about. Yoga? Spill the beans.
-
Lol. I don't know, man. As long as you're not showing them tiktoks of x-rated shit you should be fine. How are you doing this approach? Literally just walking up to them like 'Hey, check this TikTok out'? Girls will be able to see that it's just a gimmick right off the bat. It may work to some degree with younger girls, like teens. If you're older than that, I suggest ditching this method. To a woman this is nothing more than some weird dude coming up to them with a hidden agenda. Women know that you want to fuck them so skip the bullshit. But come on, tell us what the tiktoks are.

Thanks, @DocWatts.

What are the essential Ken Wilber books for studying his Integral Theory? After a quick google search it seems there isn't just one book, want to make sure I don't miss a beat. @Thought Art @Leo Gura

Agreed. I went through a brief period of watching FOX news clips to try and understand where they were coming from. I still do this occasionally when I see MAGA videos and other shit like that. You really can extrapolate a grain of truth from any perspective. It can cause resistance at first when you realise even Donald Trump has a grain of truth in his worldview but it does turn out to be the case. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. I think this is why people get trapped into idolising celebs like Andrew Tate. He spits out one grain of truth - in crude fashion, no less - and people run away with it, hold onto it with all their might and never look anywhere else.

Well done. Now go get em, tiger!

It provides a relatively safe framework for your mind to operate in, especially for crude minds. Valuable for those coming from Stage Red and needing order, still useful for those who haven't developed their own moral compass and need to be told how to behave. And it's convenient. Find a religion, devote yourself to it, and get yourself a seat next to God in heaven with 72 virgins. Plus religion still has a lot of wisdom in it, not all of it has been sucked out. AND it's difficult to break loose from the indoctrination. Look at someone like Ben Shapiro: educated, 'intelligent' by most peoples metric, and still believes that if he has a wank he's going to hell.

You've got Leo on the ultimate pedestal. There's Leo, then there's everybody else. There's awake, then there's asleep. A person can be 'awake' and not know something another 'awake' person knows.

Immaturity can be fun, too.

I shouldn't think so. True mental illness will kill your creativity. I'm sure it has served as inspiration for virtually all artists but they would've needed the faculties to create out of it. Psychedelics might help you look at things from outside of your self which will naturally spring creative insight.

Hmm. Green... or retarded?

Worthless video. My openers are way better than yours.
