Self-Actualization = Kierkegaardian Leap of Faith?
Self-Actualization = Kierkegaardian Leap of Faith? You are making this some grandiose thing. There is no leap of faith. Just live your life with passion and joy. That's all self-actualization is saying.
What is the point of living a life you hate? That is just stupidity and laziness. When you realize this, and you get serious about living a good life, you will discover that personal development and raising your consciousness are the best tools for that. And when you raise your consciousness high enough, there you will find God.
All your current ideas about God are wrong, and so were Kierkegaard's.

Awareness alone is curative IMPORTANT
Awareness Alone is Curative Dilemma w/MoralizingThere are a couple tricks you could use:
1) Try to enjoy your suffering rather than fighting it. You can make light of your moralizing like this, "There I go again... haha. I'm just like a moralization robot."
2) Realize that you can drop your moralizing at any time. The point of the mindfulness is so that you finally realize, "Ohhhhh!!! This is causing me so much damage. It's so pointless. I would be a fool to continue shooting myself in the foot. I will just stop." And you stop.
Awareness Alone Is Curative doesn't mean you need to keep doing stupid stuff for months at a time. The point of it is to SEE your own stupidity and then drop it as soon as you're willing. If you're not willing to drop it yet, then keep up the mindfulness until one day you will become ready.

What makes meditation sloppy/effective?There's only one thing, really: consciousness.
Are you actually being conscious while you're meditating? How conscious?
If you're thinking, you're not being conscious. If you're falling asleep, you're not being conscious. If you're lost in a day dream, you're not being conscious. If you're mechanically executing a technique some guru gave you, you're not being conscious. If you're whining and bitching and moaning about having to meditate, you're not being conscious. If you're waiting for the timer to ring, you're not being conscious. If you're eagerly sitting there waiting for enlightenment to strike, you're not being conscious. If you're bored, you're not being conscious. If you're suffering and struggling and ready to quit, you're not being conscious. Just pick one technique and go with it for at least a month. Then evaluate your progress. Don't evaluate your progress daily, but monthly.
