@Conscious life as far as light and dark, imagine a bowl full of water. the space inside the bowl is darkness, and the light is the water. Just because the water occupies the space inside the bowl does not mean that there is no space inside the bowl. Darkness and light occupy the same space. As far as God and the devil. God created the devil as an illusion, but really, it's God in disguise. God fooling itself, is the devil.

@Jed Vassallo In my experience, people under stress tend to go down a level temporarily, while when they are happy and feeling love then can move up maybe not a whole level but to the higher part of a level temporarily.

@Yahya Sounds like you misunderstood. He's talking about his vision for his life in the future and at 11:28 says "I see myself having kids." https://youtu.be/wuoNDHTW9ak?t=681 Worth going back and watching again before you make claims so you don't accidentally misinform people

@Damien maybe God's telling you that you are ready to start doing solo retreats ... If you need Goenkaji's discourses, download them from the oldstudent website. Use a ringtone of a gong tone and set alarms to time your day. You can do it, I believe in you!

@CreamCat Distraction is the devil's favorite defense mechanism. Also, don't forget that the "average person" is grossly underdeveloped, the people actually doing this work are extremely rare, let alone the ones who are at a level of development approaching Leo's. (Do not take this for blind praise, I validate his teachings in my direct experience) @Dan502 you can get away with it, but only if she explicitly wants you to! (and if it's appropriate in context)!

Yes, but to you light shines through darkness, and you only differentiate light against darkness. Darkness is the emptiness that light exists inside of and fills and superimposes in and on. Darkness and light occupy the same space simultaneously. Light rays are inside darkness, and darkness is inside light. Atoms are inside emptiness, and emptiness is the atom. (at least it seems that way) God is the atoms and the emptiness. God is absolutely everything including you, including devils, including paradox.

I feel like it bears repeating that ... That said, @Jakey , reality is self-similar at the nano, micro, meso, macro, and cosmic scales, infinitely in both/all directions. God is alone as it encompasses all that is (and all that isn't). In a similar way, life is an inherently first-person phenomenon, you are the only one who is you! (or at least it seems that way in everyday life).

@Leo Gura's latest video on Corruption is a good one. I've been noticing that I am super willing to slack off on my shared commitments, but get pissed off when the contractors coming to work on my house don't give 110%. I'm totally willing to take things I find in public spaces to keep for myself, to take credit for others' work, to fudge the numbers of how much time I tell people I put in on shared projects, to exaggerate my noble actions and downplay my CORRUPTIONS. Reminds me of this song from Iggy Pop, give the lyrics a listen: Iggy Pop's music plays a lot on the themes of selfishness, like in Bells and Circles where he talks about how, if he had wings, he wouldn't do anything beautiful or transcendent, he'd just go after all the things he wants, like smoking on airplanes, cocaine and picking up female flight attendants. In this song ^^^ he says "Everything leads to corruption." And it's really true, anything you pursue for yourself will eventually corrupt you if taken far enough without the utmost consciousness and a drive for Love and Selflessness. I'm curious what other people have found to be their corruptions, micro-corruptions and larger corruptions. What have you all found to be the ways you are corrupt? What are the ways you deny your corruption? (maybe this is asking too much, but as I work through the worksheet from the video, I want help brainstorming and so I ask, please edit or lock this thread if this is a low quality way to start this topic)

Just to supplement, for those with no audio, these are some of the lyrics of Corruption

So @SirVladimir , I am unclear on what exactly your LP is. You want to explore reality, like Leo you want to have complete understanding of Reality? Or you want to travel and explore wilderness spaces? What, tangibly, does this look like in your day to day life? What would you be doing when you get up in the morning? What would you accomplish by lunch time? By bedtime? What would a typical week look like when you were 100% working on your LP every day? Where would you live to make this happen ideally? What would you GET out of it? And what would you be giving to others and to the world? Try not to be abstract about it, list real things you could point to if it was already happening. This is where highly developed concentration and visualization skills are invaluable.

@Flowerfaeiry Could you be open to sharing the vision? Just a fun writing exercise doing the visualizations Leo recommended. It's OK if not, but I am curious about any new business someone wants to start, it's quite inspiring. Even if you don't mention the details of the business but just the things you want out of it. - work from a beach? - own a big house with a fenced yard? - lots of doggies? - Fun, smart, attractive partner? - own a Tesla model X? - cottage out in the woods for peace of mind? curious what you're after.

The audio recordings of the weekly videos are essentially a weekly podcast...?

Do the homework for the What is Fear and Understanding Impermanence videos, daily, in your journal. You may start to access emotions you didn't know you were having and there will be an endless font of material for your journal.

@arlin other activities related to NLP are things like self-hypnosis, worth looking into.

@Conscious life babies are born not even knowing the difference between night/day, and have to be taught to sleep at night and wake for the day. So really the answer, given this fact, is ... what do you think?

@Yahya Leo has stated in his video on How to Raise Rockstar Kids, that he has no children of his own.

@Gnostic Christian Jewish mystics who've had direct experience of God would likely not see it this way, don't forget; Jesus was a Jew. Devils hate displays of selflessness, because it calls out their devilry. Forgiveness enrages them because it shows their abuses are impotent. Would Christ presume to know how other Jews see his teachings? Or would he forgive, love, and accept while continuing to teach? -

@Leo Gura is it devilry to make a spectacle out of one's false self? (Trump, Bam Margera, Yoko Ono, etc.) -
@Flowerfaeiry i love where you're at, feeling deep into that fear is The Work! Indulge me, could you write out everything that you visualize as the peak success of your vision? Please do, and if you do, get very specific and tangible! What would it look like in your everyday life when you're at "peak 6"? I want to know what excites you about the potential and possibility!

Sunette Spies from Desteni, she made a series of videos as an "interdimensional portal" that I discovered about 15 years ago, as a child, and now as an adult continues to make high-consciousness material about supporting yourself and raising your consciousness. Her early work looks like this: Her later work is more like this: Quite an interesting human, she lives in a "hippy commune" in South Africa called the Desteni Farm, where they teach a certain process for raising consciousness, which I don't think is as accurate or complete as what Leo teaches but seems to have value for people anyway. I wont link to her commercial teachings here but it's Desteni Process, and EQAFE, I haven't personally done any of her programs, but I am interested in visiting South Africa at some point in my life.

George Harrison has a nice way of describing the barrage of modern living as the "bullshit"

@Angelite God is everything, literally everything. And God is the Nothing from which everything springs and returns. Chemicals are the imagination of God, just as everything else is, just as your identity AND your true Self are. You can experience this directly, and you should, belief alone will not get you there. But you will only experience it as "evil spirits" if you don't drop all dogma first, you personally will become "the great satan" before your very mirror-gazing eyes if you do not shed you pre-conceptions before taking the psychedelic leap of faith.

WWJD is a good question, because whenever there's a perceived slight or perceived insult, do you turn the other cheek? Or do you say something snarky to try to cause anger, hurt, feel-stoopid, or other negative emotions in your "adversary" What is the Christ-like response? I'm not claiming that Leo is "the second coming of Christ" but he replies to venom in a Christ-like way often, and is willing to entertain ethnocentrists' hate spew questions dressed as scientism and rationality, for the sake of growing everybody. See if you at least take that example, if nothing else. God designed Jesus to choose God, and all of that is just you learning and imagining yourself as a follower of Christ which is a memory from your past that you designed as an imagination. try not to barf -

I am trying to find a way to explain to someone that there is no separation between The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, in The Trinity but they insist that there is a separation between all these things and cannot see the unity. The very concept of "The Trinity" points to this Unity! Dogmatism, lack of true awakening, "jesus was the final sacrifice" or other strange denials that God is everything. As if God could somehow stand outside its creation when God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, absolutely infinite. Is it a vocabulary problem? or a hopeless case...?
