So true! Try walking outside with a heavy vest on while on a high dose—it feels like a demon is sitting on top of you.

LSD (1V-LSD) often carries a sexual energy in my experience. I frequently perceive a feminine entity winking at me and twisting its tongue. I can think of two instances where I found myself in a state of mind where I was fully convinced that God created all of reality just to get laid, it was so weird.

My first trip ever was extremely irresponsible. During that trip, I had no context for what was happening to me. It was impossible for me to recognize my environment. I had taken such a high dose that I was also hallucinating humans coming to talk to me. The only conclusion my brain could come up with at that time was that my real body was knocked out somewhere (probably dead) and I was now in an alternate reality, so I believed I could basically do anything I wanted without repercussions. And to be fair, in that state of mind, why not run naked in the street I was so lucky I didn't do anything stupid.

It would be interesting to see the median age of Professor Dave's community. My guess is that it would be below 20 years old. After you become an adult, it becomes obvious that a significant portion of the video (the Chris Langan one) is spent poisoning the well.

Chronocentrism. Reminds me of how every financial guru ad starts with, "This is the biggest wealth transfer in history; it’s the only time in your life to get rich."

I’ve always found it curious that the psychedelics section of the forum has 10 to 15 times less posts compared to the rest, especially given how heavily psychedelics have been emphasized over the years.

Terrible advice for a newbie.

Here are some core fears psychedelics force me to confront : -I don't know who I am -I don't know what life is -I don't trust myself to manage life -I don't have control over life -I am lonely -I am scared of dying I fully feel whatever comes up, I open my arms and surrender. Perhaps you could ask God or the universe to help you if you feel like you can't do it alone.

During my last acid trip, I was watching one of Leo's videos, and he started transforming into an alien. The less uncomfortable I felt with his transformation, the more it seemed like he was speaking directly to me—almost as if I was tuning into the right frequency. Who knows if it's related

Hi, have you read the Book of Not Knowing by Peter Ralston ? It has all the answers in it. Contemplation should start with genuine not knowing. Not knowing implies making a distinction between what is a concept and what is direct experience.

If you don't know what that means, then here's a good place to start : Regarding the stages thing, it's from the Spiral Dynamics model. Leo has created a comprehensive series on it (Highly recommended!) :

Use earplugs, noise-canceling headphones, and a fan in your room. If this still doesn't work, you may need to consider moving. Leo had a similar problem in his previous apartment, where a child upstairs was making too much noise. He tried everything but ultimately had to leave the apartment.

Become familiar again with the mysterious and miraculous nature of existence. From that state, motivation is effortless.
