A scary place, ruled by the Pizza Demon.

Advocating to cancel someone like Destiny is crazy to me. It's so backward considering the current level of development of societies, he's WAY more advanced than the average guy. He has likely influenced more people to shift from conservatism to liberalism than most political figures.

I agreed with you many already on Tate's case, you are fighting ghosts. That's a conspiracy theory. Therapists don't need more patients; it's the other way around. For example, in France (where I live), there is a significant shortage of practitioners, with an average of one practitioner for every 30,000 students.

Yes, I completely agree that an average Actualized.org user could find higher forms of content. It's probably better if a Yellow teacher teaches you about Orange than a Red/Orange teacher. However, when we consider the broader population, a significant portion probably cannot resonate with that type of content. They need a pure Red/Orange guy who can completely relate to their situation. An exception (the only one I know of, though I don't follow many gurus) is Owen Cook. That guy is a fucking wizard at taking you from wherever you are to higher forms of self-help.

Leo's content, as well as that of other Green/Yellow/Turquoise stage teachers, is actually sub-optimal for someone who has nothing going on in their life. That person would probably need some hardcore Red/Orange self-help to wake them up from apathy, which Leo just doesn't focus on teaching. After progressing through those stages, they can then start worrying about life purpose, spirituality, and all that good stuff. And as I said before, I don't think anyone should listen to Tate. Maybe you can learn from him how to be witty and charismatic (because he is), but other than that, I feel like he has a swindler vibe.

You can extract nuggets of wisdom from someone without taking them as an example. I would still listen to Magnus Carlsen's advice about chess even if I found out he was a criminal. Jeez, relax.
-
I would have disagreed with you if you said this about most Orange entrepreneurs with a Red core like John Anthony Lifestyle, Derek Moneyberg, Dan Pena, etc. I would argue that even if they teach toxic ideas, they can still offer valuable content. However, Tate is one of the rare examples where I feel like you should just not listen to what he has to say; he emits swindler energy every time he speaks.
-
The only time Tate faced confrontation, as far as I know, was against Destiny on the topic of the media working for the Matrix, and he wasn't able to defend a single point of his : As mentioned above, it's clear that he's using fear to drive people to buy his programs. Notice how vague he remains, just stories. The truth is, if you have a decent job and are not reckless with your money, you will probably be fine.

If I were in your place, I'd just tell my brother to be careful and make sure he knows what he's getting into. It's his journey, after all. I wouldn't give him moral lessons unless he purposefully comes to me for advice.

I have recently played a game called "Fear & Hunger." It's a horror roguelike where you explore a dungeon, noticing increasingly bizarre and unsettling occurrences the deeper you venture. The further you delve, the more twisted and horrific the environment becomes, filled with grotesque monstrosities. You later learn that what happened in the dungeon is linked to deities doing their thing. I loved playing that game, but I would never want to live in that world. Yet, from what I understand, I could very well reincarnate as a living being in the world of Fear and Hunger and live a miserable life. -

@bambi I'm sorry if my post gave that impression. But even if I were in chronic pain 24/7, you could argue that I'm still lucky that I have never had the experience of being a gazelle and being eaten alive by a lion, but that experience is still allowed by reality. -

@bambi Really sharp pain that just makes you crawl on the ground, the example that comes to mind is severe toothaches. I completely understand that this pain made me fix my teeth and move on, but in the moment, I'm like "Why does it have to be this way?" More generally, the fact that there are no known definitive limits to how much physical pain a human or any conscious being could potentially experience scares me. -

@Leo Gura I know man.. But just imagining how deep physical pain can go makes me sick to my stomach. I can't help but view it as a sick and twisted game. -
What a nice trip report, beautiful writing.

You are 1 dose of DMT away from partying with these guys.

I don't think Goggins fakes his personality. He's like an Owen Cook type of guy: extremely driven and borderline insane to any normal person.

I personally do most of my shadow work by letting go of bodily sensations. When these sensations arise, I simply feel them and try my best to stay present with them. After a few years of practicing this, here are some of my insights: Anger and frustration: These sensations are mainly located in my chest area. Humiliation, shame, and cringe: These sensations are in my stomach and chest area, and they are more painful to deal with than anger. Anger is a burst of sensations that I can tune into if I am conscious enough at the moment. However, shame is super repulsive, as if there is an impenetrable barrier around the sensations. Sadness and loneliness: These are strangely located in my triceps, shoulders, and upper back area. I feel them the most when I take a hot shower, where I can sit for minutes pouring hot water on my back. There are levels to feeling sensations. Once in every 100 tries, I tune in so deeply to the sensation that I can feel every millimeter of my body, and the sensations vanish instantly. However, this is very hard to achieve consistently, even after years of practice. Here are some of the most memorable events that brought about strong sensations: Loneliness: When I was about seven years old, I was waiting for my mom to pick me up from school. She took hours to arrive, and everyone else had already been picked up by their parents. I was the only one left with the director. Guilt: When I think about how much my younger brother and I used to fight, I remember beating him really hard. I'm four years older than him. A few months ago, we were both high on weed, and he confessed to me that he had been drinking alone in his room. I cried for days because I know I'm partly responsible for that. Anger: Remembering the times I was bullied and couldn't fight back. I would say that my brother and my mother are the two people who come up the most when I do this type of work. If I want to be reductionist, I think that every single "bad" sensation ultimately points toward self-acceptance and feeling enough just as you are. At least, that's how I interpret it so far.

Just finished the interview. This guy seems amazing! Super charismatic and well accomplished too. Just the fact that people like that exist makes me appreciate consciousness more.

I'm super excited about AI, but there is a big chance everything you mentioned won't happen in our lifetime.

I love re-listening to Leo's videos while lying in bed with my eye mask on. The last one was about Andrew Tate, and I loved how he narrated his experiences with RSD and Tate's character. It would be so cool to have three-hour-long stage Purple stories or even horror stories told by Leo

Try questioning this assumption: is it really your looks that make you experience these negative emotions ? Or are your looks just a proxy for a deeper problem ? One thing That I'm 100% sure of is that if you are in a really really good mood, you would not give a fuck about how you look.

My hype for TES6 died with Starfield.
