I’m curious about the biggest influences on Leo’s personality, insights, and teaching style. Here are the two I’m certain of: 1. Owen Cook: Leo’s video style was heavily influenced by Owen’s classic approach—free association, no cuts, etc. 2. Peter Ralston: survival, not knowing, making distinctions, investigating life. I think I'm just scratching the surface with this one. Are there other ones on the same level of influence ?

For coding, I find Claude much much better than GPT 4o or o1. But for everyday use, yeah, 4o all the way baby.

First of all, you are in a downward spiral, and that's ok. Understand that when you feel like life is amazing, all of the limiting beliefs start to melt away. It's a giant feedback loop, but you have to initiate that loop, whether it's through inner work or material success. As a computer programmer, my advice is this: give it a real shot for at least a year. Commit to not quitting for at least that long.

Too extreme IMO and probably unsustainable. The wise thing to do is finding balance. Make your life so interesting and fun that you are genuinely not interested in spending a lot of time on social media.

Tier 2 and tier 1 aren't black and white distinctions. Just hearing about spiral dynamics and being open to it gives a "small part" of tier 2.
