i`m carrying this with me since a while now - still figuring out how to create this tool more bullet proof than the original author/inventor does. that means i`m adjusting the method to my own needs. this is the one habit that might unite some of the most important habits i want to implement on everyday basis, since i started to sort my mind out at this forum. and i want to make it a recommendation for everyone who is lacking on a tool to make their every day life more organized or is sick of organizing themselves in prefitted tools or just wants to cut down on electronic organizers. so without wanting to do marketing for it, if i would have a book list, the bullet journal method would be on top of the list. i would be happy if some of you get inspired or share inspirations about new habits you implemented or plan to implement (in the new year traditon style) or maybe someone does bullet journaling and has some nice tips. whatever, new year = new beginning is a tradition that makes some sense, as everything seems to slow down to zero (even the temperature). (it`s also a good wish/gift for christmas)

and that means if it occurs within meditation it also occurs during psychedelic trips and afterwards. the beauty about meditation is that it works completely without psychedelics. you can even inquire about makyo in quasi meditation. -

without the bow and arrow how would you place the nuclear bomb you did not say anything about the transportation tool. -

the same as psychedelics are useless if you don`t meditate or self inquire. when you walk a road you take this path and that path and then you decide afterwards if it was worthwhile walking that path - even so you could decide on it from a complete wrong perspective as there are probably different reasons why a path might or might not be worthwhile, and people could be completely blind for how the path ever came to be and why even after walking it they still not see, because of self bias. but if you decide to not walk a path in advance just because it seems so steep or rocky and not arrive at the mountain top because you took the faster smoother road and then also say afterwards when the others come down: it was not worth the view and the others tell you about what they have seen and experienced and you say well it was not worth the rocky path, how could you even comment about it? you don`t have any clue it`s just a flimsy excuse. if you tell that excuse to the 100 years old man who lives on top of the hill he will laugh wholeheartedly. -
i always thought this was a finetuning instrument - but direct experience tells me it could also be a weapon.

also these, you would want to build a synthesis of these. bodhicitta without a clear view is self deception and often ends in suffering and self denial. meditation without bodhicitta is lightbody blindness. -

@Leo Gura it sounds as if you have met an unlearning teacher. i´m only halfway through - but when people are at a point of wanting to relearn they have usually gone through an unlearning phase. you could also say a phase of letting go. if you have once realized that relearning is only more and more unlearning it becomes easy, respectively it becomes easy the more and more you unlearn about a certain matter/unmatter. it sounds motivated, i remember when first starting spending time here in the forum my alter ego was in a conversation about disconstruction and construction and reconstruction - but that was a time when shiva was all about deconstruction. there is this poem that has a line in it - i didn`t find a good translation for so i`ll translate myself: and in every new beginning lies inherently a magic spark...

i don`t think it would be creepy. and a mother who bears it would be sad. it`s not something strange but made of love. all skeletons and mummies look creepy, just because it`s super tiny and a little different doesn`t make it creepy. the mom must have loved her, they say she was mummified. does it creep you out that microorganisms live in your gut, on your skin? or your gut is wiggling around in your belly? some of them might be pathogenic. some people are getting creeped out by that. or the dustmites in your carpet? did you ever see how they look? the surface of everything is full of tiny strange looking animals. all of earth is full of tiny strange looking animals. some of them don`t just look creepy they might actually kill you and some of them hold you alive.

@DrewNows also fermented foods are interesting because of bacteria. so sprouting and fermentation all have something to do with peristaltic motion, too. herbs are also interesting for different bacteria they kill or have living on them. the thing about bacteria is unfortunately no one can be a hundred percent vegan on that - it`s better to see it as a symbiosis.
-
@DrewNows i love it - but grains are not bad you can eat them as sprouts. grains are super loaded energy sources. and the fibers are very healthy for the gut, just don`t eat them without the fibers. grains like beans and lentils are also very good energy storages, while fruits always have to be fresh - so you can store grains and beans for a while and then make them alive by water alone, isn`t that super interesting. my dad uses to talk about growth power in grains - school about grains is an important part of the whole food and raw food movement. sprouts really rule - one of my favourite bread is a half baked sprout bread. they also always say let the beans soak, bla bla - let them soak a little longer even.

what i ask myself lately is: if we could even accept aliens not having human form, because we are so selfbiased on this human form - or would we even accept them having intelligence if they would not be able to communicate in one of the languages we could understand. besides that we might not be able to understand them... what if we would encounter aliens to be super tiny like microscopic or maybe to be superorganisms? what if the aliens we could meet on another planet would already live here on earth, what if we might be extra terrestrial ourselves or at least our dna? if we would find bacteria for example or mushrooms on other planets, would we then think it came from earth or would we think we came from there? or what if aliens would not even have dna? - how would we know if they are maybe not more intelligent than we are just on another level, the same we can`t say a hundred percent that trees are not intelligent, maybe. what if intelligence is really not measurable with the human mind, because it`s too small a measuring stick?

@Bno well, it`s difficult, as on a global scale they are quite progressive in their standpoint towards turkey policy, but even how they understand what`s happening there, they might be not that progressive in us-american policy from a progressive view. also ending all regime changing wars is a joke like asking all people to stop eating meat - it`s just impossible. maybe that`s why... stay open or you will be the only one who understands anything in the end. don`t conentrate too much on the vegetarians - meatarians are the bigger problem.

they recived a donnation after they took a political position... is that false? not before... it is of course interesting how independent their position is afterwards. but i just had a short look into how their position is towards contemporary politics in turkey and am relieved that the donations seem to not come from there. in some of the cases in todays turkey policy in other countries that is what`s happening. so if they are supported by democrats, might be there is some kind of coalition but maybe it`s not that intertwined from tyt side as some people want to read into it. seems like they don`t have it that easy. receiving a donation just means they are backed up by someone. the relevance who that is might play a roll in some cases but in some other cases it might be a little much interpretation outside the symbolic character. maybe the donnation supported them to stay independent. just try to simultaneously have a look what happened in turkey in 2016.

there are probably many answers to what love is and what not. or if love is really everything or not. the question about what is the right or what is the wrong perspective to it is always limited to the limits of our imagination. if we can imagine love to be brutal, then maybe we also can imagine that the most brutal act in life is birth. in our softwashed brains we sometimes overlook that most of our freedom and the beauty of it was built upon a generation who tried to go against this brutality, they created soft birth and went with flowers against arms, they created everything that came before the world went into illusion again, after the brutality of the second world war. this struck me so deep after watching this video, it`s an addition to the second video on what is love - it`s the maximization of a generation who will soon be gone in a not so far future. the same as it was a relieve when the last nazi died, the same it will strike us when they`ll be gone, if we don`t listen very carefully what they had to say to us - they where disillusioned until the point where they created a better world, we are maybe about to loose if we don`t get our soft hearts together and learn from it. post what you can get on it let`s maximize love - don`t only watch this but also find out what this generation was about - spirituality is not only about the fruits but also about the flower that was prior to it. its nostalgia before it will be gone, apreciate the now.

i`m not worried, i just saw some cnn report where they said trump might winn despite any candidate - so why then fear for a progressive candidate to loose? because conservatives then afterwards will say: that`s just because he was too progressive? well conservatives... maybe trump is sitting there because you were too conservative - just something to think about sis. i already think there`s nothing to loose -
remember replied to Annoynymous's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Annoynymous you must see us elections under the scope of us psyche - why did trump win in the first place? why not the democrats? trump voters will vote for trump anyways - so it`s about the others, why did the other voters vote for trump rather than for hillary? if we talk about news influence if articles about britain influence how people in the us vote, then i hope no one writes articles like that! because it produces fear based conservatism. it will be a self fulfilling prophesy if you believe in it and make the mass believe in it, so, no it is not in any way related! just imagine they were speaking italian in the uk - it has no influence! if anything it is the other way round - the us influences the world, remember that! -
remember replied to Annoynymous's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
it`s fear based questioning - both situations are not comparable. uk is in a very difficult situation right now and you could ask the question if corbyn was progressive enough with the brexit question. also look how the schotts voted... if people would have voted for corbyn and then the second brexit referendum would have been still brexit they would also have lost schottland. what do you think why people prefer a fast brexit and a chance on keeping schottland? why does this sound like a safer option? maybe not enough progress. a referendum like that has to happen before an election not after, the election can`t substitute. too many variables to really say what was the reason. there should be a second referendum anyways. if politicians were not that stupid they would understand that in such a situation you always ask twice (well a mother would probably), to prevent making a historical mistake. i think the us democrats can only profit by doing something extraordinary - that`s what always works in the us - don`t ask me how i know (i`m psychic) -

@MountainCactus yes really nice advice against the prananoia! yes maybe you have seen exactly where the problem is, realize there is a sensitive space opening for understanding what this thread might lack. why not filling some of the gaps instead of arguing about the low quality? it seams like you have some knowledge, so even if all our time is precious or exactly therefore, people who might be seriously interested in kriya but are not at that point yet can probably appreciate your comments. wherever you want to bring that star, it`s probably more important to make it shine, so people can see it. if your time is precious enough. also yes the mega thread maybe needs a cut from time to time, like a beard. like santa clauses after x-mas shave. -
remember replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MountainCactus just be aware: the lord moves in misterious ways. some try to take a different road every day, to know the city, does not mean to take the same road or the most direct road every day. there is not one right way/path and some people will achieve it more easily than others. some might give it up after a while and then return to it later. the will to try is already enough for a beginner. it`s a little arrogant to expect that only people with an goal aiming approach are around here, maybe some want their star to sit somewhere else - then why in a self actualization forum and not a kriya forum? lifting up people should be the goal, but looking down on them, no no, not good. you say you would not want to waste the precious time of the masters... then what should be the approach for someone who doesn`t know yet? better not start at all? i`m sure that a challenge and an aim can`t be the wrong approach, though i don`t think one of them is required to learn kriya and advance in it. as i said everyone seems to reach a self referential limit at a point - that`s when it`s time to change from book to teacher. -
@Nivsch what was it again nutella and olives?

sausage? or maybe jam?

@Dlavjr depending on where you live... there are several grains and pseudo grains you could use, you can make bread of coconut farina or make it of lentils or peas - there is no limit. if you would want to make it yourself you could buy an automatic breadmaking machine. also there are several pasta types of lentils beetroot or maybe in the asian section soba (buckwheat) noodles (at least where i live). i also like onigiris. and i guess you could make some kind of pumpkin pankakes or so. (although it`s more preparation in advance and i own a rice cooker i also read that some people bake bread in their asian rice cooker) taking up the salad example... use big mushrooms, kohlrabi, pumpkin or paprika halves. but in general if it is not about the form just make yourself buddha bowls - again a rice cooker is really nice you can also prepare other grains and pseudo grains in it.

in this case by adapting to red social structure instead of beige. beige is the underline tone and i recently also saw an interview of a guy who survived prison with other spiral tones but he was a political prisoner in turkey held captive for being a journalist. he survived on purple and green. it probably also depends on the prison structure and who else is imprisoned alongside and it also depend on the colour of the officers/guards - if they are completely in red good luck surviving. what is really interesting about this interview is also the mentioning of segregation - i didn`t really know how us american prisons are built. i find it in a way interesting that there are these boxes where people are placed in. they could then converse but still are in segregation - although what i didn`t understand, if he was segregated alone or with others. ten years is a lot. of course you can find red in a lot of situations and red is part of your spiral dna in any case, even the absence of red is a shaddow of red on the spiral - red in that sense means: how do you handle red situations. red is also the colour in history where kingdoms and knights appeared and women warriors appeared and disappeared. red is either ruled through brute force or through a coalition of force and wisdom. in my understanding the most obvious emotion behind red is "affect" and "intrigue". if you struggle with a red shaddow, that`s where the training aims to find control.
