@28 cm unbuffed mhh, so it made you change the picture... i was referring to the actor more than towards the figure. in general wanted to point out that what you were referring to could also be described as moving on from more instinctive driven behavior towards a more intuitive one. as in the “masculine“ sense it’s probably a more instinctive like/love/all-in behavior from the belly while intuition as a more „feminine“ trait also includes the probable outcome like/love/spontaneous-riskmanagement what you describe as wisdom. what that would have to do with your lizard brain... i don’t know i thought you wanted to integrate your intuition - but if instincts mean you liked to read and sit in front of the computer it’s even more difficult to understand what i was refering to. just that in general if you referring to masculine and feminine i made this observation that most male are more instinctively driven and most women are more intuitively driven. you can’t feed your lizard brain, instinct is part of intuition but instinct stays instinct - you just don’t act upon it like before anymore because your value system changes. if your archetype of woman would be a more instinct driven person than a intuitive driven person and you would integrate that you would stay stuck in some sort of instinctive driven behavior, that’s what i was referring to. and who is the guy on the new pic? -

@28 cm unbuffed what about instinct vs intuition? also your women picture is it a real woman or an archetype? if the counterpart of your avatar would be your archetype...mama mia, you would still be caught up in instincts and not in intuition. so what is the concept and what is the practical part about it? -
@Serotoninluv i know - you might never have been in that situation, but if you set your mind to protect a blind circus clown from his/her self that also becomes absolute authority.
-
@Serotoninluv mhhh, a blind circus clown is never an absolute authority - it is an authority that can be chosen on the base of free will. i assign absolute authority to bottleneck personalities in our relative realities. means if someone wants to go to a club and the security at the door says: no. the security in this case is an absolute authority and will block the door or won’t. if i can repair my car myself a mechanic is not an authority anymore. of course i would give a circus clown absolute authority in case of expanding consciousness, love, happiness and truth...but that is relative even though it’s absolute.
-
@Serotoninluv in sense of future hiking tours the mechanic is an absolute authority - or maybe you just imagine the hiking in the future. or you buy a new car. or maybe choose public transportation in the future.

@OBEler well it just seemed that you know - so it probably means you don’t know. what is really the best starting point to find out what would be a good treatment action plan. worst case cenario backup plans are always good to have. also i thought it was about bipolar. two pair of shoes. depression is the other side of hypomania and bipolar has it all - but it’s not the same. it’s the high that makes it psychotic which also makes it psychic and chaotic and run out of controll. but psychic means not to fall blindly for delusions, it means to still maintain some kind of control and get the basics right - it means being visionary but not getting lost, what can only be maintained under some kind of control or at least of being able to return to a state of self control. -

is this not an equivalent to saying there is nothing else? unfortunately i don’t have any addresses for shamans - i know people who have been to shamanic gatherings for reason of increasing creativity and energy - but i know no one who solved their depressions or bipolar disorder with it. or with shamanism as the main cure. i would also not want to recommend anyone on blind faith, therefore i‘d recommend you to search for yourself - i guess most shamans nowerdays would have an online platform and some kind of prove for their abilities and if it is a picture of them with their indian shamanic teacher or even some kind of pedagogic/medical background. also either shaman or psychologist or psychiatrist, usually you can find out if you can trust them if you ask some questions about how they would proceed. -

@OBEler well no if i talk about shamanism i talk about the real thing, people who where initiated into old healing methods - and even there you can find probably a lot of weird stuff that is based on a lot of belief. i talk about spirit travel and sweating huts and dark room retreats which are accompanied by experienced masters who will sometimes even say - no this treatment is not for you - because what you want and what you need might not always be exactly the same. and using only „prescribed“ drugs - talking about people who have experience with healing. how can you be sure that it will heal her if it didn’t yet? you said it‘s the only way. but it’s based on beliefs alone. -

@OBEler so you solved your girlfriends problem with shamanism? don‘t get me wrong it’s all medicine the separation is only in your head. why do you have to choose either or? there is either good medicine or bad medicine in sense of helping or not helping or worsening the condition. as long as i can’t heal i try to controll the symptoms. if shamanism will work, fine, if yoga and meditation will work, fine, if phytopharmaka will help, fine - but if not? you usually start out in a psychosis and gain more experience with time. at least knowing which meds can stabilize one in a phase of emergency is a really good start - and oftentimes people can go down with medication or change to something less heavy. it’s pretty expensive yes - and it’s discrimination that people who are in need of longterm meds for psychiatric drugs have to pay for it if it secures a stable life for them. and one thing about shamanism is: it’s not the healing of the condition, the condition is the root of shamanism it’s just channeling of the condition but not if the person with the condition becomes the patient, a shaman can’t heal what a shaman is made of - a shaman can only become a shaman, someone with that gift might not even need psychotropic/delic substances, a healer knows how to heal and that means whatever is best for the patient. -

@OBEler i‘m talking about people who got financial bancrupcy disappear and land on the streets because of their condition. i know three or four people in my city who live on the streets because no one brought them to the doctor. this person i was talking about is in the long run pretty happy that she was not used as a psychedelic test bunny and is able to live a relatively normal life, having a job and stable relationship. what are you even talking about - you do exactly the same - and call it shamanism without knowing enough of the sideeffects. and in germany the meds would not cost a fortune because there is something called health care. whatever you choose if a shaman or a psychiatrist just make sure you find a good one. because in both cases there are blind drivers on the street. and i would say there are probably more of them who do some sort of shamanism as they don’t even have to prove their basic knowledge to anyone. so it’s probably more difficult to find a real shaman than a real doctor. -

@OBEler yes i have family members who had episodes, let’s say we all have our instable moments. people think a mania can’t be as bad as a depression, but if people do things or say things to others they feel bad about afterwards because it was too wild even for them in a stable phase it is also not easy. in a mania people are making decisions on a whim, what can have effects on finances and health and shelter. i leave my family in privacy, so i don’t know what medication they are on, but what i know is that it’s good to find a good psychologist and a good psychiatrist as longterm companions and build a feedback system for worst case scenario, most people who had a psychosis don’t want to have it again, so it’s important for them to install that system themselfs. unfortunately it’s not done with doing it off after the first try - a psychologist as a longterm partner so how could that fit after the first date? also to find the right medication you need someone with skill who wants to take the effort, to find the best working substance. also the worst episodes of one person i know was triggered by psychotropics (and thc i would not use in any case of predisposition for psychosis - i also don’t react good on it probably because more sensitive than genetically not affected people) and lead to a total loss of sense for reality and heavy psychosis. the problem with bipolar is that you might get her out of depression and push her into maniac... it’s all pretty sensitive. and yes some meds have side effects like body weight gain, what is pretty hard on probably any person with mood bipolarity and would be without. -
@Max_V spiral dynamics. it’s not only great to understand the development of a person but also to understand where politics in a country is at. geography leo‘s recent blog post is about the developmental stage of africa and the geographical background (geopolitics) history - most history is political history (for theory especially of europe as a lot of politics was pathed there and political phenomenons lived through already) but in general world history. anthropology/ethnology - it’s interesting for understanding culture and cultural minority and tribal behavior. but also because you will come across the history of colonialism from a new perspective. a little bit of economics as in politics it’s a looot or let’s say mostly about how to distribute and protect the wealth in and of a society, in french it’s even called l‘etat in german etat is the budget of the state.

oh the beautiful mania. @Leo Gura this is a very irresponsible post. maniac people still need to balance themselves - psychotropics are nothing for people who are already high on their own. @EntheogenTruthSeeker of course you are super creative and you can also see it as a gift, but be aware of the dangers a mania brings with it. especially the being special part and not seeing it as a condition but a personal trait alone. it’s so easy to fall into the trap of thinking you could control this force with psychotropics, you are on the other end of what most people are at. hence you need to balance into the other direction. i met some people who let go of control and ended up in bad situations. so being the pilot of your flight means not falling too much into the being special trap. i think you can find good psychiatrists. you have not been on your medication during that post you have been on yourself. your medication is helping you to channel your energy. if you would not take it it would probably come out too forceful. channeling is what you need to learn - please no spontaneous changes in medication! really beautiful writing though, glad you shared it with us! -

@Bodigger what about a better support for single moms? in so many cases it means a social fall down - tell me how many men would consider abortion in that case? you can count it by how many not pay the support for their descendants. and by the way the rape cases might not be that many in some countries, but we are talking about the right of safe abortion in general, aren’t we? the right to decide about ones own body and life or have others decide for us. having a baby means to have ones life on the line, a lot of people still don’t get that. -
@Holly Ann you will also probably need to get much deeper into the past than the past 15 years - why did you even stay that long with an abusive partner? that’s a question i would tackle besides the work to digest what happened there. you might want to make peace with why it happened - maybe even from his side. it’s not about justifications but about the karma baggage. sometimes it’s easier to let it go then.

it’s easier to shame the victim than the perpetrator (especially because the perpetrator is sometimes our acceptance) for making us aware of our shadow. that’s a very simple rule but sadly enough a subconscious mechanism we can become aware of. there is even a phenomenon where perpetrators make themselves a victim of being shamed through not helping a victim by the victim.

watched some of the episodes yesterday...interesting the talk about chaos channeling but then again the paying equivalent and everything has a price - kind of bad spell and not green at all, in my perception, unfortunately too much dusty paradigm and sadly enough therefore a trashing of symbolism, like the mentioning of vortexes and chaos in a superficial concept. don’t know how the game is... for someone who never had any awakenings to chaos vortexes and witchery it might be more appealing. although somehow it’s interesting that how did you say the orm flew through the author.

@Buba who is the inner watcher who’s judging you? you see, my inner watcher just wanted to hold me back asking you this question because i was not sure if this might be the wrong approach or actually help you, being afraid i could approach this the wrong way. pride and perfectionism are oftentimes strongly connected to societal norms. but who is the person exactly who imprinted that unto you? might be that this is not even about your sexuality but your fears in general,as you are only one step away from maybe opening your muladhara. maybe chakra work, kriya or meditation could help you. it’s not about your sexuality, it’s about the fears of a machist society that makes a strong difference between male and female. how is your relationship to power in general? if women attract you, what kind of women are they?
-
i think it may seem like it decreases, because there were a lot of main topics and basic big concepts that also scratched some topics which could still be main topics but fell from the table because the discussions and questions two years ago in the forum were more intense touching a lot of the topics he worked through and shed a light upon during the last two years. give him a break for gods sake. it’s easy to consume all of it and then say ohh mhhh its getting less interesting. its like eating a multicourse meal from a three star cook and afterwards saying oh but it was a little weak at the 4th course while you are not even able to make scrambled eggs for yourself.
-
there is no right or wrong - question is why are you here. everything anyone criticizes here can also be read as a critique about yourself or a mirror of your innate being. there’s no separation between yourself and yourself. to decide where he would be right or wrong you would need to know what’s right or wrong...a lot of ego at game in that question but likewise in the answers it’s all an enormous self reference loupe.

it depends on the regional water supplier, also on the kind of tubes you have in your country and house and if you buy it bottled, it’s better to buy it in glas than in plastic, especially if you are a guy. if you want to be totally safe with drinking tap water you can let it be tested at a laboratory then you would also know what kind of filter would be sufficient or if it would be sufficient or if it is ok to drink it without. maybe you can find some independent sources about your regional tap water quality.

i could go with not allowing abortion if rape would get death penalty. the worst about a time before it was legal in some countries and probably still is the case in countries where it’s not allowed is that in some situations women did it anyway and sometimes even probably died because it was not even done under medical safe conditions, or worse things happen with older babies... because there are probably still women in horrible situations. i don’t even want to think about it. but ignoring that is worse. -
remember replied to 7thLetter's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@7thLetter the bad karma is probably part of the subconscious pattern the weed produced in you. weed enforces social anxieties and thinking patterns, might be even when you were not aware of it before. the lsd is then just on top of it - you also precued yourself with thinking it feels the same - maybe that’s what you were showed, how it feels for the part of yourself you didn’t have access to before. not saying this is the answer but think of the possibility. in that sense it might have actually be a really really good lesson - also about how important attention might be to you to read acceptance into someone. -
remember replied to King Merk's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@King Merk realize what is chi? where does chi arise? where does thought arise? it is not separate but it is. what do you feel if you listen to „wish you where here“? there is a special phrase i love in this song. what thought arises in you? i have a different memory than @Serotoninluv has. where does this music come from? the source of this lies outside but within. you can experience that, but in this case you need to apply meaning to it. look into the eye of the vortex.
