  1. This is not awakening. Memories and predictions are past and future. You are not living the present because there is no present without past and future. Even physicists say that time is a human constructed dimension. As counter-intuitive as it might seem, time does not "flow" and is just a brain perception (see the block universe theory).
  2. Trust nobody, not even yourself. Keep an open mind but be skeptical at the same time.
  3. Could you specify what was the trauma that triggered this fetish? Have you ever been aroused from normal sex?
  4. But witch flesh is tasty. Lol, joke I'm a little skeptical about spirits but it's good to keep an open mind. My dreams just make me wanna kick some ghosts in the ass.
  5. You should realize that some people ARE assholes and they might devaluate yourself unconsciously/unintentionally because they have ego problems and aren't able to see their own flaws. You, like me, are imperfect creatures and shouldn't feel guilty about what we are. You shouldn't take pride for your qualities either. Just learn to accept that you're a human being and have your own flaws. It's a big mistake to try to fit into anyone's standards.
  6. Thank you. I have another question for you: A while ago, I had a dream that a man said I should eat witch flesh to gain powers - which I did. Is there any deeper meaning to this dream or it was just my imagination? I also have some weird lucid dreams where I can see my room and feel like there are entities harassing me. It seems like I'm fighting them and they are really angry for some reason. What can I do about it?
  7. Hi there, I want to ask you what do you know about gnomes and why would they visit someone?
  8. This also happens to me for a year or two and started to drive me insane, so I can totally relate to what you said. My guess is that it could be mental exhaustion or overthinking because these experiences occurred only when I was mentally aroused. So my explanation is that they are just some sort of lucid dreams because mind cannot exist outside of body as it is a product of the brain. I know that I'm just stating the obvious here, maybe I am wrong. As for the experiences, sometimes I would see unusual things on the walls like spheres of light or feel some evil presence in the room. Then I would wake up semi aware searching for that "thing" just to realize that I was dreaming. Once I thought that I was looking out the window for a strange star moving. The star then flashed a bright light into my eyes that made me feel harassed or, at least, it didn't seem to be a welcoming sign. The interesting thing is that, when I woke up, I saw the star in the same spot. It was still though and there was nothing odd about it. Maybe I had my eyes opened while sleeping? Just trying to find a logical explanation.
  9. Sounds interesting but impractical to me. Can I change anything if I'm aware of this?
  10. How do you reconcile your reality with others reality? What is happening now it's not under our control. Past and future are both as real as the present moment.
  11. Nope. I'm just a human being trapped in space and time What do you think about time?
  12. Nobody understands the truth, this is a really brave statement to make. While it seems so obvious that you understand everything, you soon realize that you know shit. And this inquiry goes on forever with "got it" and "lost it", again and again. Self delusion is funny.
  13. How can you realize that you aren't separate without thoughts and images? Don't all the stimuli go hand in hand with self awareness? Maybe thoughts and images are a projection of something greater than we will ever understand. Do you think that humans who don't question their own existence are somewhat inferior? Or just maybe they are living in their own realities? What about rocks, plants, trees? These aren't aware but they continue to exist through their own means. Life doesn't need to be aware of itself to be. I think of ourselves as bits of information that create the ultimate reality. Diversity is what makes life interesting. Human concepts and senses are too narrow to comprehend the truth. We are not the most evolved species that will ever exist.
  14. I've had an internal monologue that involved music where music said that it understood me. That was one of the most poetic things that I've ever experienced. I also started to think that it was my partner from another dimension and almost felt in love with it. Really creepy shit but amazing at the same time. Unfortunately, sounds around me were really disturbing and annoying. I could loudly hear all the neighbours making noises and washing dishes. Are you all sensitive to sounds or it was just me?
  15. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter. References: https://plus.maths.org/content/what-block-time https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophical_presentism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eternalism_(philosophy_of_time)
  16. "My" imagination is limited by space and time because I'm a part (not apart) of space and time. The whole universe as we "know" it is made of temporal stuff. The stars, people and some creepy aliens out there might be gone in a different reality. Things like "learning", "changes", "Vitruvian Man with 2 or 4 legs/eyes/hands" or "colors" are all part of our physical perception and are nothing but human concepts. So how can this space-time perception be objective when it's just a product of our subjective minds?
  17. God is infinite, I am finite. How can I be God when I am trapped in space and time? Or let's say that God is a paradox (both finite and infinite), yet I'm not all over the place. I still have biological needs and depend on a car to move from one point to another. How can I become infinite when I AM finite?
  18. I don't think I can change anything, that's the problem. It feels to me that the entire existence is predetermined and nothing that happens to us can be altered. It might look as if things can be changed because they are supposed to be in a certain way but it is not us or our consciousness doing this. After all, our individual consciousness is finite. In an infinite reality, time makes no sense. No matter what the ultimate truth is, there's something strange about time that my mind cannot comprehend.
  19. Brain chemicals, "all that was and is", including you and me are part of the infinite consciousness.
  20. @Leo Gura there are things unconscious mind can do on brain chemicals that you cannot even being to imagine. Imagine becoming nothing and all material world collapsing right before your sight until you and your senses no longer exist. You would say that this is imagination but this is what my brain chemicals have done to me. I no longer existed. Why do you think drugs will show the ultimate reality and not figments of your imagination?
  21. I understand the concept that this world I was born in will die with my physical death. But "me" is just a fragment in this sea of information and information is everything that has been and will ever be. So I don't think it's fair to say that I am the whole universe but I'm a part of it. But imagination is not the same thing with hallucinations or human consciousness of space-time limitations. Consciousness is time and time appears to be just an illusion. Why our minds cannot grasp the simultaneity of the reality? I am aware of that but I'm still stuck in the space-time limitations. "Mind over matter" doesn't work, I am still codependent on everything.
  22. But our parents and society are supposedly not real but figments of our imagination. What does this mean? People, pain and suffering? What's that? Aren't all of these some types of hallucinations?
  23. Do you think there is some hidden knowledge and you can't become fully aware without drugs? I've seen lots of people who did drugs for a long time and they still believed horseshit. Drugs don't open any portal and you become God without any space-time limitations. That's what makes us human.
  24. I really doubt that individual beings possess the awareness to understand everything that exists. We are conditioned by our limitations and there are things that mind cannot grasp since we aren't omnipotent and omnipresent. Although I love the idea that reality is highly subjective and relative, we cannot subtract ourselves from the objective reality and remove the limitations that define us. It seems to me that this whole "mind over matter" theory ignores the fact that everything is interconnected and has its own purpose.
  25. Growth as a human being in which sense? Can a psychopath become spiritual?
