  1. @Nahm Were you also diagnosed with bipolar disorder/manic depression? I’ve seen some people say that awakening has helped their bipolar symptoms or made them somehow realize it could be overcome. I’m quite skeptical of this for myself as spiritual growth tends to make things worse. The last time I took charge of my life in the manner you’re describing (changing diet, habits, exercising daily, meditating more), it triggered a manic episode requiring hospitalization. I wonder if the people claiming their bipolar disorder was helped by pursuing awakening simply did not have as severe of a case as I do.
  2. No, at least not in my understanding. 5meo and nn DMT both are not MAOIs. They can be consumed with an MAOI which is what is done with ayahuasca, but I don’t think that would be a factor at all if you were just consuming 5meo and nn DMT and nothing else.
  3. The feeling of no doubt being present in an experience is not a good measurement for reliability or Truth. Many times people have felt something to be true beyond doubt which actually ended up being false. Just look at everyone who thought the Earth was flat because they thought that’s what their direct experience was showing them. When experiencing this “ultimate reality” you do so through your own relative experience. Many people would be happy to argue with you about how their “ultimate reality” differs from your “ultimate reality.”
  4. @Leo Gura That makes sense. I think it’s something worth exploring. I might try it once sourcing isn’t an issue for me.
  5. I think practically anyone would’ve said using 5meo for a month straight is overkill, but you experienced something ineffably worthwhile by taking that leap that potentially no one else has nonetheless. I’m assuming you haven’t tried this?
  6. What happens when you experience the memory of something happening at another time? Or when you experience the ego? These things are also God then?
  7. This would only be possible so far in the future that it’s almost pointless to discuss the implications. We have no idea what the world will look like by then.
  8. @How to be wise Where is this in the Gita? I don’t believe I’ve ever heard that in the audiobook form I’m used to.
  9. I’m posting not to give advice or try to help you but merely to say that I’m having the same problem. The more I do this work, the more I don’t see a point in human life.
  10. My biggest flaw is that I haven’t been crazy enough yet to literally law of attraction myself into the second coming of Christ. I’ve gotten pretty close though at times ?
  11. I think this rule should be adapted. Any time the word God is used the individual must include a personal definition for the word. Half the time people are saying God, consciousness, nothingness, etc. on this forum they are talking about completely different things. God is just a shitty word because damn near everyone has their own meaning for the word.
  12. I’ve been meditating on and off for years, but I only truly got a high level of benefit from it when I was doing it multiple times a day for about a month straight. I had two satoris that each lasted about two weeks a piece. Ever since then, I’ve gone back to meditating rarely and sporadically. Hearing Adyashanti describe meditation got me more interested in it for a short period, but I’m back out of that again. So, I’d appreciate it if you guys/gals could share resources that help keep you motivated to meditate regularly as well as share what benefits you’ve experienced from meditation that might help motivate others to pursue meditation more seriously.
  13. @snowyowl I think it’s partially because experiencing the satoris took away that feeling of needing or wanting to meditate. Another reason is because I’ve just found psychedelics to take me so much further than meditation. I’ve also had a lot of awakenings without meditation or psychedelics. These have also exceeded what meditation has given me a lot of the time. I do agree that I’m a natural, but I think this makes it hard to commit to the more gradual of spiritual practices because I’m used to quick results. I hate the discipline it requires.
  14. @levani Yes it’s correct. I’ve experienced it before to varying degrees. It’s what we might call a heightened state of consciousness. Basically you become radically more conscious than you’ve ever been before. You’ll instantly know when this has happened. There is no doubting it. You can get there through meditation or many of the other methods discussed here such as psychedelics. You will in most cases still feel the physical sensation of your arm being sawed off, but your judgment of this being a bad occurrence will be transcended at this level of consciousness. You can get a taste of this from reading or listening to Eckhart Tolle’s book The Power of Now. Suffering comes mostly from your judgment of a sensation rather than the sensation itself. These judgments are programmed into us genetically in many cases, so it takes a radical state of consciousness to fully transcend them. What I mean by these two things essentially being the same when enlightened is the difference you currently experience between seeing something happen “outside” of your human self is felt to be less important than what happens “inside” your human self, but when your consciousness reaches a certain level, you realize that you are essentially everything in your perception. In this realization, you stop identifying with your human character more than anything else you experience. In this way, the pain no longer affects you any more than seeing a bird land on a tree branch. In some cases, enlightenment might give you positive sensations more powerful than any physical pain you might experience as well. Here’s a writing about Swami Vivekananda that describes this state: “Mosquitoes covered his body in such a large numbers that it seemed as if he were wearing a blanket. He looked like Lord Shiva when meditating. These are the signs of sattvic qualities –-‐‑ full control over the senses and the mind and complete tranquility.” Regardless if Frank has some deep meaning behind fucking the universe, it makes ultimately no difference on your spiritual journey. Even if you could conceptually understand what he’s talking about, the concept is not the experience or state of consciousness he’s having. Do consciousness work and have your own experiences. One day you might find out what he meant when he talked about fucking the universe, but it helps you in no way to try to make sense of it from a normal state of consciousness now.
  15. Everything is love, but this is only true when you are at the level of consciousness where life is experienced that way.
  16. Glad to hear psychs are helping you with bipolar disorder. They did the opposite for me, in a sense.
  17. These are just a few negative things that have happened to me due to pursuing awakening. Leo’s video on the dangers of spiritual work is definitely worth watching before you get in too deep. The most common thing I’ve done during awakenings that was stupid from my ego’s perspective is throwing my phone. This happened on three occasions. I actually broke it once which ended up costing me over $1,000. Usually I’ll reach a ridiculous level of consciousness, and from there I basically am so conscious that all worries or limits to my behavior disappear. It’s at this point that something incredibly useful to my ego is recognized to be as important to true Self as an acorn (insert any other random object here). I also have given away thousands of dollars away during several awakenings. I usually kept barely enough to keep myself from huge financial trouble, but it has set me back quite a bit. The worst thing I’ve done during awakenings, which has happened twice, is I drove my car at its maximum speed on the highway for multiple hours. The last time this resulted in me totaling my car due to the mechanical damage running it at its limit caused (I didn’t wreck). Both times I did this it was in the middle of the night on an empty highway, so there was no risk to anyone other than myself. One thing worth mentioning is I ran naked down my street and ended up having a 10 minute conversation with a random neighbor while naked. Lastly, my social media postings during awakenings have reduced my reputation a lot because I basically spew off my deepest insights in places where less than 1% of people will have a chance of making sense of them (usually Facebook). The benefits still greatly outweigh any damage caused so far, but I guess I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced anything like this.
  18. @Carl-Richard Hmm, I’ve never really had a problem with resisting awakening. Not saying it’s 100% good advice, but there’s always the option of taking a large enough dose of a psychedelic to make resistance practically impossible. It’s hard to say though; I don’t experience much resistance so on high dose trips I’m all game for practically anything. If you resist a lot, it might just turn experiences into bad trips.
  19. From watching Frank’s content for years, I’m pretty sure he’s talking about something far beyond a kundalini awakening. I’ve had quite a few kundalini awakenings, but I’m nowhere near understanding the shit Frank talks about from an experiential perspective. Suffering stops when your state of consciousness rises to the point where you no longer identify whatsoever with your human character. In this state, there’s not much of a difference between watching a squirrel climb a tree and seeing your arm get sawed off. As far as the “fucking the universe” thing goes, I’d say this saying is just coming from Frank’s personality. The guy has been making online jokes about BBCs for at least 10 years. I would honestly view it as a hollow statement as it likely has no real meaning behind it just being another manifestation of Frank’s odd personality.
  20. I think when you get to the point where you think you’ll never go back to normal life and will forever be high is a good way to judge a successful trip. Once you hit that point, you know you’ve gone pretty far and the effects are incredibly intense. What benchmarks do you guys/gals try to hit to consider a trip a success?
  21. I’m glad we’ve established that the OP is the antichrist for wanting to move his neighbor. Now what’s next for us to tackle?
  22. I’ve had some crazy deep awakenings smoking large hits of concentrated THC with low tolerance. It works better if you’ve already used psychedelics before. Previous psychedelic experiences can turn weed into a psychedelic as long as you don’t run into tolerance problems. THC can be better than many other psychedelics once you’ve had other trips to break down that wall in a sense.
  23. I think he is underrated, but he never really gave a shit about enlightenment in the normal sense of the word the way we use it here. He said, “I’ve been through the whole spiritual supermarket and rigmaroll, and I find nothing there to interest me on the level of five dried grams of psilocybin mushrooms in silent darkness.” I have to agree with him tbh. For most people, spiritual practices will never match what a high-dose trip can produce. If you see Terence as a guru, the path is simple. Take mushrooms and N-N DMT at high doses your whole life until you die and share your unique ideas with the world while doing so. I think that’s quite a good way to live. Is enlightenment better? Maybe, but only for that 1% or less who seek it who actually get there. The 99% spend their lives doing boring spiritual practices getting less of a robust experience than just doing mushrooms. Of course, I think the best thing to do is to mix both.
  24. And it’s still basically impossible for nearly everyone if we’re talking about the alleged permanently enlightened state The Buddha obtained.
  25. @Nobody_Here And that’s just slightly above 0.01% of the world population. There is so much growth left to be had. Even if you are worried about somehow sullying his channel by changing the platform, you could simply start a new channel which would undoubtedly find great success if done right. Beyond Youtube, a documentary or docuseries focused on Actualized.org content could be on Netflix or another large streaming service. Once enough revenue is created, Actualized could become a parent company to many different high consciousness endeavors. Leo sits in a position where he could become the Elon Musk of the self-development and spiritual development space if he wanted to.
