  1. This will all gracefully untangle itself with time. Disturbance and chaos facilitates growth. This time around we might get the chance see a great deal of that, which I'm very excited for.
  2. It didn't prevent him from attempting to ceise the country for himself. In many ways the system "rewarded" his behavior, as he's not currently spending the rest of his life in jail. Who knows what he'll do this time around, knowing he can violate everything he's sworn to protect and uphold with no consequences.
  3. I lost any and all respect for Lex a long time ago. He's extremely biased and one-sided, while disguising himself as being a centrist, something he most certainly is not. Morally bankrupt, right-wing shill.
  4. Most likely it'll mean the end of democracy. There are no checks in place for Trump. He can do anything he wants and get away with it. He's already now planning to use Musk and his new department to (likely) stack the government and other high-level officials with loyalists. He's already laying the foundations for his upcoming reign. It won't be pretty, but people will get what they voted for.
  5. But of course. You see it as incorrect because you don't know Trump. The problem with that, of course, is making assumptions without knowing. At this point you are not using logic to draw conclusions, you're trying to feel your way to what's right. That doesn't work.
  6. @Javfly33 I'm not attacking anyone. I have made sure I stayed informed on Trump, his speeches, his actions. And conveniently enough, it seems the only people that don't know anything about Trump are his own followers. Every time I point out something that should immediately disqualify him in the eyes of any person with a shed of dignity, you guys either call it left wing propaganda, or you just say "oh, I didn't know that", then move on with your day. I'm so fed up by your ignorance. Doesn't matter now though. You've already voted away your own rights, you just don't know it yet.
  7. @cistanche_enjoyer Trumps own actions are my personal speculations? Did you take your meds? He tried to coup the country during his first term. What do you mean!? You think he's going to solve homelessness?! I need to get off the internet for a few months. This is too much.
  8. Wow, this is incredible. To see people so openly support the biggest traitor in US history is appalling, and then even make excuses for his behavior. @Scholar is absolutely right. Your country is doomed, and there is no turning back now.
  9. @cistanche_enjoyer Sigh... And here I keep getting surprised by the levels of gullibility of his voter base. Put two and two together. Combine what Trump has said during interviews, what he has done in the past, and then just THINK for one moment, and it should be clear as day what his aims are with this new department. You can't be serious. Trump doesn't give a damn about efficiency. He wants to further his grip on power to the greatest extent possible, and he need loyal supporters around him to accomplish that. When he realized he could attempt to coup the country without getting punished for it, that's likely reinforced in him that he can do whatever he likes in his efforts to completely reshape the United States from the ground up.
  10. Paving the way for a totalitarian regime by cutting away any and all opposition, under the guise of reducing excess spending and improving efficiency.
  11. Yeah... that's true. And then Trump says he will tariff everything, goes to speak at the Economic Club of Chicago with a tone that screams "I'm the smartest person in the room", in a room full of subject matter experts, making the most outlandish, unreal, crazy claims. And they just don't seem to challenge him on any of it. Is it out of fear? Fear of losing their career? Who knows. I don't think Trump can say or do anything wrong in the eyes of the majority of his following. When he can do and say so many outrageously stupid things, on a daily basis, and it doesn't reflect negatively on his support, that's quite concerning. There has to be something deeper going on causing this mental decline in such large parts of the general population.
  12. It is interesting, because logically speaking, any candidate should have overwhelming odds against an insurrectionist, convicted felon and a rapist. That Trump somehow became the second coming of Christ for hardcore Christians is nuts, when he's the polar opposite of every Christian virtue. It tells me that the general US population is on a steep cognitive decline, to the point where the majority of people have become completely incapable of forming their own opinions or do their own independent research.
  13. So then it turns out he's not even remotely close to as developed as his cult following seems to think. Color me surprised.
  14. @Ishanga Yes you are, and everyone here knows it. Who do you think you're fooling?
  15. Yeah maybe. Then what will be the consequences of doing nothing? Of letting someone that tried to coup the country, while the sitting president nonetheless, step into office again. It sets a scary precedent if future presidents start acting like they cannot be held legally responsible for anything they do, as a result of Trump doing so.
  16. Mass psychosis of the American people is what lead to Trump. People that derive their truth from what feels good to them, and that happens to align with their narrow-minded view of the world. People that have never questioned anything they read online because why would "the good side" ever lie? No rational human being could ever vote for someone like Trump, unless they themselves benefit from it personally. Which limits the number of people where it might make logical sense to selfishly vote Trump down to a few thousand people.
  17. I hope they do. Trump tried to coup the country last time around. If they somehow managed to prevent Trump from taking office by force that would be 1000% justified and the right thing to do, in my opinion. He has no business being anywhere close to the presidency after all he's done. I'm sure there's plenty of decent shooters out there that'd be willing to enact justice where the supreme court failed. Fuck Trump. Let there be chaos!
  18. The worst is seeing these people are celebrating, while if you ask them about Trump, what he's done or said they just scream left-wing propaganda. While they do seem to live in a different reality, mentally, they too shall feel the chaos of Trump, and the day will come when they shall scream in horror and confusion over what they've done. Part of me hopes he goes all the way.
  19. Of course not. You don't know what you've done yet.
  20. Don't worry. The day will come when you too will have your reality check, and realize what you've done
  21. No, you're done. You guys have actually destroyed your own country in your delusion, you just don't know it yet. You are so royally screwed, and by your reply you dont even have a fucking clue what you've voted for!
  22. Maybe rewind and do some f research and figure out for yourself what he's said!? People like you are the reason the US will ceise to exist.
  23. If he does what he says he'll do, there will be a lot of commonalities between the two. I don't think most Trump voters have any idea what they've done. I don't think I believe in democracy any more.
  24. We can only hope. This whole situation is just surreal. Best case scenario, the US is going to be remembered as the country that almost re-elected one of the biggest traitors in its history. A complete laughing stock on the global stage. Coinflip for Hitler, except this Hitler is completely open about what he'll do.
  25. It's going to be a monumental task to go through and block the trumplets when this is all said and done. The amount of cancerous low IQ, low effort propaganda that's not only being shared but actually discussed on this site is insane.
