@Alexop I wonder what your solution would be. It seems like those nazis want to run the last normal family out of town. Doubt they could sit down at a table and have a conversation, I wonder if the Jews tried that in WW2 and how that worked out for them, these guys seem a bit more civil than hitlers nazis but Jesus if someone tries to kill you with arson the immediate action isn’t to help them the best solution would probably be to ask the police for help and stand your ground. I certainly couldn’t live next to nazis, I have a bad enough time that my neighbors have trump signs

There’s been many accounts of yogis meditating and altering reality since the dawn of time. Just read autobiography of a yogi, also the mods are right, most of the time masters will say ignore the siddhis because they are just a distraction. Trust that the will of god, your own, is doing everything perfectly, and like they also said, you’re manifesting whatever you want all the time you’re just not aware of it. And in an enlightened state there’s no telling what will happen, no need to analyze it. Just experience it first, that’s my idea at least, I haven’t had that enlightened state either but no need to expect anything out of it. -
@electroBeam @James123 sadhguru has said the mind is so complex that you could have hundred of personalities. These thoughts are fine, just realize them for what they are. I’ve been through the same shit brother. and if you feel disturbed there is always option for help. It’s very possible to be conscious and have a mental disorder, mental disorders can be intense one day and mild or even non existent on some days. I think a vast majority of the population could be diagnosed with bipolar on a bad day. science has a long way to go to understand the mind and I’d always recommend getting many opinions, if you feel like you have one. maybe a bit of projection since I have been diagnosed with bipolar in the past but it’s good advice anyway. take everything with a grain of salt. Don’t worry about the medical labels. Even with your own thoughts is the point.

I have heard and seen admins and others post topics about the movement for a people’s party organized by a former bernie staffer and with the convention happening on august 30th with many conscious speakers such as cornel west, Nina turner, marrianne Williamson and Others. I wanted to get opinions on who would be considering this party for an alternative to the two corporate parties. I personally like it and think it’s a great alternative to dems where progressives are neglected. America needs a left wing party badly while parties still exist. And the Green Party unfortunately has the stench of always being ineffective, already more enthusiasm and people power for this movement has congregated than the Green Party. Any thoughts? Opinions? Is this a viable solution and alternative than reforming the dem party or voting green? here is there mission statement they have a nice 8 point solution to getting the party nationally viable by the end of 2021

@zeroISinfinity alright well I have had light “ego deaths” so to speak, I realized I was just energy or consciousness or whatever you want to call it then I felt my sense of localization fall away. I still don’t fear death, my logic is that if I know I’m dead I’m not really dead, if I’m really dead then I won’t know it so why worry, I never existed anyway haha

@Findus American Dream is nice but it’s ideology. Why not focus on life purpose instead? We need an American life purpose instead of an American Dream.

@Apparition of Jack yea I like the idea of vaccinating everyone if it works, but I just can’t let it be compulsory, maybe mandated but not compulsory. even if no side effects I like to keep the body pure and I take extreme measures to make sure I don’t get virus, not everyone has a life out of public like me but still it sets a bad precedent that the government could mandate any vaccine -

@WaterDroplet--00 no problem, I have some friends in Melbourne and I think scomo is trusted more than a Donald trump in his home country, I want things to get better but I’ve just never liked the idea of forcing people to take vaccines or any drugs for that matter. i could change my mind if it’s a effective but I still don’t like the precedent -

I don’t think forcing people to get a vaccine is helpful, but I think incentivizing them is the way to go, sure you save lives which is most important but I don’t think in this specific case I can defend a vaccine that has no long term clinical trials. maybe if it was proven to be harmless, I think people should have the right to choose but I don’t think a mask mandate is the same thing as a vaccine. Having the vaccine be free would be great, having tax incentives or small rewards for getting the vaccine is great. being culturally libertarian has its pros and cons, obviously we are seeing America and the western world have suffered a lot more than eastern Asian countries which are more stage blue, but also when it’s not a pandemic which society would you want to live in. in not anti vaxx at all but I don’t see the issue as anti vaccine or compulsory vaccine. -
Point taken, I’ve never been a big fan of morality, so in a paradoxical sense the most developed worldview is no morality sense morality is about exclusion rather than inclusion. i think problem is that many people (myself) included make the mistake that selflessness is a moral value instead of just leaving behind the values and just being selfless i still feel like god has an agenda though.

I don’t really know australian politics that well but from what I’ve seen from Scott Morrison, it seems like he’s stage blue/orange and he really really cares about making sure he has a good legacy but also seems like a neolib. Australia kind of has a hive mind which America doesn’t so maybe it’s more logical for people to get the vaccine, it doesn’t seem like anyone cares about compulsory voting there either and I know forced vaccination is a big issue it seems something of a trend. I see on the polls that 9 news does that most people want everything shut down if covid keeps happening so it doesn’t seem like the Australian population has a problem with it. Although I know it would be a problem in Canada and in America, personally I wouldn’t want that law and I haven’t been vaccinated for a while, but I can understand people who do want to be. my reasoning is if I am already wearing a mask in public places and following all the norms why get the vaccine? It would be for my well being but it’s a good point that the trials are not long term -
@Leo Gura yep, they would need to win the popular vote but lose the electoral college which ain’t going to happen. Might have to be years before that happens and @Opo hell no democrats can’t make that happen in their current state.
-
@Leo Gura but isn’t there a reason why the most developed beings have the most love for all? Maybe you don’t even have the call it morality but it doesn’t seem like coincidence or survival at stage turquoise. This seems like an almost intrinsic motor in humans and most beings. Maybe I’m wrong but I just feel like there is a reason why the most developed people are the most selfless. I guess my point is isn’t gods being itself a kind of morality? Like the selflessness
-
@zeroISinfinity you don’t like my answer hey that’s fine. Have a good day man
-
@Opo yes but do they know that? In said hypothetical they may be afraid of death, and so I’d sacrifice, not everybody mind you, but some, as for as I’m concerned I don’t give a shit, as far as I’m concerned I never lived

Seems like Finland will get to stage yellow first, I made a prediction that the us would but I’d happily be wrong. although they are very homogenous so I don’t know if I can truly count it even though it’s technically green/yellow. They certainly offer a good example. andrew Yang would be a great cabinet position, he is a strong proponent of measuring a countries success by happiness instead of gdp, and this goes as well in school, don’t measure solely by gpa, it’s important but what’s more important is a Holistic view And happiness should come first.
-
I don’t mind dying, sense Death is concept, gun to my head probably a different answer but maybe not? I’d cut my fingers off to save someone else but not myself.
-
@louhad electoral college needs to go. What’s the point of voting as states if we are in a union. I mean I get there is arguments on Both sides but how the fuck can you defend the minority of votes winning an election.
-
also crimes happen, but the typical conservative response I see is to shit on criminals and punish them More intensely “law and order” while the progressive response is to find out the cause of such riots and crime and problems, yes there are sjws and antifa and some toxic aspects but is it ruining the country anywhere close to trump and his administration... hell no.
-
I love how the word radical gets tossed around like it’s a bad thing. Some things need radical action, example climate, criminal justice reform, housing, etc etc etc. you say sit and finger point about how badly these people are but at least they are doing something with their lives whether you agree with it or not. i understand that there are conservatives on this forum but I wish to understand the cognitive dissonance in your mind with agreeing with actualized.org and Leo’s purpose and then still trying to finger point and play us vs them mentality and being aware of spiral dynamics but still blaming the excess of green like it’s a terrible thing although you know it’s just a reaction to toxic blue orange and a red president, can you imagine a world in which there were no riots after George Floyd or just everyone agreed with trump or any president for that matter democrat or republican, it’s not going to happen dude.

One of their higher ups said he wouldn’t put a touch screen on laptops because they are “fatiguing” lol id get a mac if they had touch screens

Also utilitarianism in the way you presented it sounds great. Because every rule needs exceptions, and there plenty of examples for this but every good rule needs to be upheld as well. Morality is certainly a tricky thing and certainly I think the best morality is unconscious yet conscious at the same time, explicit and implicitly, relatively, right.
-
I like the concepts. However I feel like there is an intrinsic reason why morality was developed, there is the survival aspect to it but also there is an unconscious bias inside of all beings to maximize love it seems, we may not all agree on what maximizing love is, but through my life experience I feel like “god” has an agenda and it certainly influencesyou from the inside. Morality is based on far more than physical survival mechanics. It can also be based on abstract ideas such as art and ideology and ego. I guess in a sense you could say morality comes out of the physical or psychological need to survive and the ego. But I think there is an intuitive conscious side to it. there is a reason why spiral dynamics seems so accurate and most civilizations follow the same trends. I think “god may have an agenda and is playing it out through us. We have our own little agendas as part of god but ultimately we are maximizing its love not ours. hope that helped

@louhad you’re 100% right. No one just goes into the street and says let’s burn shit down to see society collapse... well maybe they do but it’s so small, and those types of people certainly don’t give a fuck about Bernie or AOCs opinion if they are true anarchist.
