  1. PJW (PUA Justice Warrior) Someone who believes pua is the solution to all life’s problems. And recommends pua as the solution to all problems without mentioning any other possible solutions. Example1: Person A: I can’t meditate. PJW: You cant meditate because it is just a way you are distracting yourself from what you know you need to do as a man… cold approach. Example 2: Person A: Bernie Sanders is seeming flustered and reactive in this debate. I’m not sure I can vote for him. PJW: If he learned pua Bernie would have strong frame and would be calm, collected and inspire support. Example 3: Person A: My Mum is having trouble learning Spanish. PJW: If you did pua your mom wouldn’t worry so much about your single ass, and would be able to learn Spanish. Meaningful because it’s a funny way to resist the shaming attitude some pua folk to those who don’t do pua. And can also be a funny way of pointing out how puas often see pua as the only solution to problems which actually have various better solutions.
  2. Lmao 🤣 I have deffo been guilty of that before
  3. @Santiago Ram I’d argue it’s, in part, because these places are often full of people who devoted their life to helping folks who have fallen on hard times. And to devote your life to that, generally, you have to be a very caring, empathetic and driven person imo. So those places are filled with many caring, empathetic and driven people. Then when you go back out into society you just experience the average person, who is quite a lot less caring and empathetic imo.
  4. Re the first two video time stamps you linked I watched that full video. I think the thing to keep in mind with Owen is he is talking about how to massive casual dating success with women. Like going from a guy who struggles to get a date let alone get laid, to a guy who has a roster full of girls who are very sought after and model quality. And his argument is that you can get girls by having amazing amounts of money or having an amazing physique. But loads of guys are doing that so it is very competitive and also physical physique wise your gonna probably have to steroid up and rely on genetics too. Howeverer, Owen argues, to my understanding, most guys aren’t willing to go the hardcore cold approach route to get those amazing causal dating results with women. And development of very high sexual charisma is also a path to getting these high level dating results. Therefore developing very high level sexual charisma via hardcore cold approach is the best option according to Owen. Because with cold approach you get way more bang for your buck lol. But yeah I can also understand why you might see Owen as sort of being pitying towards guys who try that gym route. But then again if Owen is right about Cold approach being way more effective, then it makes sense to me why he’d pity someone who tried the gym route. Cos they would be putting in so much time and energy for such relatively mediocre returns.
  5. Yeah my first thought is wonder to what extent they are ‘playing the game’ with this conflict. In terms of how much of Todd’s video/ blog is full of hidden rhetorical devices and strategy to get me to do what he wants. In the same way, in pick up there is the interaction as it appears to an ordinary person and then the calculated strategy a pua uses to actually guide the interaction.
  6. Thing is pua guys tend to use meditation in a different way than a monk or spiritual seeker would generally imo. Imo they tend to use it just as a tool to get better at game ie better eye contact and better state control.
  7. This still going on? I would like to hear a response from rsd before coming to conclusions though. But then again maybe the arbitrator’s decision can be seen as a reliable sign that Todd is generally making accurate claims. But I don’t think it’s worth my time to critically read through all the arguments so as to come to a conclusion. But I will see if I can help Todd with his search for information.
  8. Thank you for sharing your insights Leo. You the man/ infinite consciousness
  9. Oh. I thought you meant you thought EDT was superior to Spiral dynamics
  10. Why do you think it’s superior?
  11. I think this is unfair. Maybe he done than to a degree. But I also think he has a sincere commitment to expressing his true personal beliefs on things. And that has drawn controversy which he hasn’t backed down from and that is rare. Plus I think he has genuinely cared to be a guiding voice for young people in the past. Im not for being toxically positive but also I’m not for being toxically negative.
  12. Yeah I’d second the college lecture courses. I think this is a great one! Also edx have quite a few political science lecture series for free. That said, I guess it would also depend on whether you prefer reading to watching lectures. Whether you have confidence atm to be able to get through a whole lecture series. If you are not so confident with your ability to go through a lecture course atm, maybe try the channel ‘crash course’. They do fun mini- lecture series made in engaging ways. They have a course on US government and politics and also one on Political theory! So maybe start with what you are comfortable with and then build up over time :).
  13. Also I would recommend this video: Key takeaway: When wanting to do a task ask yourself ‘what can I do?’ And keep asking yourself that until you find some part of it your willing to do.
  14. Gg for the exploration of the survival benefits of tradition.
  15. I don’t know. Would depend on how well educated I was. if I was educated enough I’d maybe consider using that money more philanthropically. If I got a billion tomorrow, I’d probs just hire a tax specialist and do some mid level tax avoidance. Aka keep it legal and just minimise paying excess taxes but not overly exploit loopholes or engage in illegal activity. Then from there get more educated on how to handle that sort of wealth and then analyse from there. But also I don’t know how corrupted id get by the status, power and people who would try and sway me. Id like to say it wouldn’t affect me too much ethically but i can’t know if I haven’t experienced it.
  16. Here is my take. Firstly, focus on asking open ended question and validating there response. By validating you don’t have to agree, you can just show that understanding of why they might have a certain attitude. For example, if someone says they ‘hate right wingers because they always talk about immigration and it’s really just them being racist’, you can say ‘I see. That makes sense to me why you might feel hatred towards people who you believe are acting in a racist way’. Secondly, with the open ended questions you can ask them questions whose answers require exploring why these people that they judge act in that way. Ie ‘they believe that because they are racist’ then ask ‘where do you think their racism comes from’. And now you slowly introduce the frame that there is always some understandable cause for why people act or think as they do. Therefore you shift the discussion into tier 2 territory. Thirdly, you you start pushing the discussion towards what factors could cause people to engage in better behaviour. Now you are moving more into discussion of how to change systems of course and effect. For example, can say, “I wonder where racism actually comes from. Is it something learn from where they grew up? What do you think?’. Fourthly, continue the discussion and every time they fall back into judgment, validate their belief without agreeing with it and then shift back into questioning where that behaviour comes from and what factors are needed to change that behaviour. For example, they say ‘They just grow up in communities full of horrible, backwards people I think. It makes me sick!’ You can reply, ‘It makes sense to me why you would feel sickened by the thought of those sorts of communities [validation]. The idea of that sort of community sounds horrible to me too. I wonder how communities even get like that. How can some places produce cultures of inclusivity, eduction and equality, and some produce cultures of hatred, and exclusion. I wonder what factors make the difference. [shifting frame from judgment to understanding cause-and-effect relationships].’ So, without ever even challenging any of their points you have had a discussion that has led to the other person to start to think about root causes of behaviour and systems of cause and effect. Fifthly, you can then bring in your own stage yellow and above models now that the discussion has the underlying frame of systems thinking. This is just me theorising. But I think in hypothesis it could be a useful model.
  17. For any problem, research-experiment-reflect. That is something I believe in and I don’t see where it wouldn’t. But I still have lots of things to solve in my life, so I can’t be too confident in the general advice I give.
  18. I don’t see why extremely high unemployment leads to ww3. However, I do worry that it would lead to a mass loss of purpose for many people. And that is serious. Plus too much free time could make crime go up maybe but that is just speculation from me. I guess one counter argument is that people will engage in their hobbies and interests such as the arts and painting and the like. But those sorts of things only appeal to certain personality types imo and moreso women. Sort of reminds me of when some governments started running ‘learn to code’ programmes. Here, to my understanding, they would try and get laid off industrial workers to learn to code instead and it seemingly didn’t go very well because it didn’t fit the profile of the worker. 4 day work week could be cool though.
  19. I think an issue with criticising Israel is just that, criticising Israel. Israel is just the name of a nation. It’s particular far right political parties within Israel that are responsible for their aggression imo. To my understanding, Netanyahu’s power lies a lot in maintain a coalition with some other far right political parties in Israel too. So it’s appropriate to criticise those actors not just Israel as a whole imo
  20. Imo that is a very interesting imo. Imo, nah scrap that actually… imho, some aspects are same about our imos. But also imo some aspects are different about our imos. Imo it’s important to focus on the aspects of our imos.
  21. Imo, my imo is different from your imo in some ways. But also imo, your imo is the same as my imo.
  22. Imo the only reason we follow Leo’s work and perhaps know a lot more than some people on some things is just a result of circumstances, life experience and genetics. If you had the circumstances, life experiences and genetics of anyone else, you’d be doing and thinking the exact same as them imo. As would would I. Also , if something exists then there is every excuse for that thing to exist imo. And it is delusion to think otherwise imo.
  23. Well I’d argue one reason is that a lot of low quality content is made to be very addictive. There is a subject called consumer neuroscience where companies fund studies into how to best trigger peoples brains to engage with their stuff. So they are hacking your brain’s operating system to force you more and more to engage with their low quality content. In consequence, people engage a lot in low quality content and that leads to much ignorance imo. At least this is one reason why many are ignorant.
  24. That would funny af ahahaha
