I love a lot of Dr K's content! And have a lot of respect for Dr K! Bro has helped bring my life onto a positive trajectory. And i think he is a really positive and unique influence on the internet. I would argue Dr K gets the most stick for the following reason. Critics often mistake Dr K's advice regarding what is effective/ necessary to survive/ thrive with Dr K justifying a societal arrangement. (Sometimes the critics are correct that Dr K is being political but often they are mistaken). Dr K has said his vision for the HealthyGamerGG project is to help people do better given the circumstances they find themselves in. This is understandable because one must have focus, and also play to their strengths. This leads to, even well-meaning, folks often seeing Dr K as indifferent to or not attaching enough importance to politics/ societal arrangement. For example, if Dr K watches a video of a girl in her mid twenties. The girl is crying, complaining that the demands of employment leave her no time to enjoy life and she is always tired. Dr K might then say something like, 'I empathise... etc", and then go onto say something like "Tech can make us more tired, so lets see if we can reduce tech usage " and/ or "do more chores on the weekdays". However, folks seem to often miss the first empathy bit and then treat the advice section as if it is Dr K blaming the girl, or its Dr K legitimising a societal structure. But in doing so, they miss what Dr K's project is with HealthyGamergg. Dr K is coming from the view that 'Things are the way they are. Perhaps they can be changed for the better. But as individuals we cannot rely on that change. So we have to try and approach the way things are as best we can'. ---------- I re-read your post and realise you were looking for high-consciousness criticisms rather than defences. I can't think of one for now but just wanted to acknowledge that my post isn't really what you were asking for.

Hey folks! Wishing everyone well. After a long time of feeling lost and trying to find something I deeply align with, I decided that I just needed to do something. Especially being 27 now. I at least wanted to do something that wasn't unethical and had a skill tree. With that in mind, I've committed to trying to develop mastery in Cybersecurity. Ideally, i would like a vision of how i could have a real positive impact with Cybersecurity. But my mind keeps generating thoughts that I'm just gonna be protecting the assets of some rich company. I know there is some positive stuff like working with protecting hospitals and that sort of thing too. However, I would like to hear the perspectives from the creative folks of actualized.org! In regards to positive/ high-consciousness things i could do in the cyber-security field. (Please feel free to drop any ideas you may have. Regardless of your knowledge of the field, or life experience!)

My issue with this is that you speak with certainty that we can build a better system regarding logistics. However, your argument is purely theoretical here. The issue with theorising is that much theorising is based on what intuitively makes sense. However, much of ho reality works is counter-intuitive. So, often theories are wrong. Now it may well be that your theory turns out to contain much truth to it. However, I'd argue that you are much too certain about your theory's accuracy. If you real world evidence to support the theory, then that is another matter.

Thing is though by quoting these as case studies, you are arguing from a higher quality place than many socialists ever will. Its good you do this though, in my opinion.

I'd argue one reason is that NFL glorifies violent domination of one group of people over others. Stage red stuff. And, many actualized.org people like more stage green stuff more. And spend more time thinking about how to stop violent domination of others in the world.

Nah its not BS. Proper PUA is just applying the scientific method to casual dating, and then doing what works. The main issue imo with PUA is that people often do literally (besides getting sexual consent) whatever works without regard for whether its ethical, i.e. manipulative, or psychologically unhealthy, i.e. disowning unattractive parts of themselves.
