  1. @Leo Gura Have you never had a bacon and chicken sandwich?
  2. @Moon The man will suffer as much as the woman.
  3. @DefinitelyNotARobot I found this wiki link. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_koans_by_Yunmen_Wenyan This is really good also: https://www.google.com/amp/s/thebuddhafultao.wordpress.com/2012/01/29/some-great-koans/amp/
  4. @DefinitelyNotARobot You can find many books online, maybe Amazon. If there’s a free resource it would be great. @JosephKnecht Thank you, I discovered Koans, whilst reading about the core teachings of the Buddha.
  5. Does anyone have any advice for meditation retreats? Is there a planning process or checklist you use? How do you just leave all your responsibilities?
  6. @Strangeloop You hate gay people because they show you something you hate about yourself, which you can't unconditionally love. Deep down you know what that is but your ego pretends it doesn't know, lol.
  7. @PurpleTree I haven't directly seen an aura, a visual emanating colour. I think the colour coding is done as a metaphor for subtle bodies, but that seems to just indicate you are not the body.
  8. @PurpleTree Treat them like sisters, and see there is literally no separation between self and other.
  9. Months ago I was suffering from extreme derealisation, I though the state would never pass away. I took a long break from meditation, self-inquiry etc. I have recently returned to daily mediation practices for about 2 months. I have been absolutely grounded in pure nothingness. It’s a totally different experience from derealisation. It’s like you’re grounded in emptiness, rather than reality being dream-like in a bad way. I honestly just wanted to share this to bring a sense of hope to people who are going through derealisation on the path. It can be overcome and you can become regrounded.
  10. @Frenk What I did is ignore derealisation every day. It evenly came to a point where I didn’t even think about it for about 3 months. That’s when it’s ok to go back to meditation, from my experience.
  11. @kag101 What your saying really is you took concepts as Truth. You didn’t get the knowledge of what imagination really means. You need to understand you are integrated as a part of the dream. When you are God as awareness, you’re not localised in one space. If you were localised absolute everywhere in direct experience you would understand why it’s a dream, because at that moment you would become God.
  12. @BlackMaze Yeah but that thinking is what you want to get rid of. That’s where the work gets difficult. You can get pointers, but nothing is going to get you closer to Truth that what you can directly know.
  13. You are not perceiving in a physical world. To say that goes too far already. God is using forms to experience itself, therefore you are God, the room is God, reality is God. It’s an ever present moment, dreamed into consciousness. A hallucination in God’s mind. God just imagines itself up, as emptiness.
  14. @BlackMaze Nobody is going to give you the answers you want, you have to find that for yourself.
  15. @Moksha Your perspective was never a limited perspective, your perspective is absolute but you’re dismissing it.
  16. @Moksha Pure Being, that’s it, I’m just a part of the pure being, not separate.
  17. @Moksha Metaphorically you could say the light of consciousness, but ultimately it’s an abundance of consciousness or Intelligence... in my opinion
  18. @Breakingthewall You want to go some place other than where you’re residing?
  19. @Moksha Nothing is pulling me, I don’t feel separate, form the emptiness.
  20. @Moksha Sorry I’m not really good with metaphors or imagery, didn’t quite understand what you said there.
  21. @Preety_India Meditation made it worse, that’s why I had to stop it all together for a few months.
  22. @Preety_India No, it wasn’t the root cause.
  23. @xxxx Imagination is real that’s why it’s such a mind fuck.
