  1. @justfortoday You are "Nothing" creating the projection of the visual field. You're literally willing it, but not as a human being.
  2. @Preety_India The ego truly thinks Black Lives Matter is doing any good towards the ending of racism. Collective egos are still trying to address racism from the notion of black vs white, which doesn't make any logical sense. People literally get offended by All Lives Matter. This statement is more fundamentally true, it connects closer to the understanding of Oneness. The police officer doesn't understand he knelled on his own neck and killed himself.
  3. @JayG84 You're trying to make logic out of a miracle. Reality isn't math.
  4. @Leo Gura Survival and reproductive needs create egoic devilry in women, especially with high selection opportunities in the dating world.
  5. When you get a breakthrough on a psychedelic, It's like accessing a super aware level of consciousness. You get the gooey core of reality, like a creme egg. The problem is you have a full awakening but then it's so short lived and you come back down to egoic state of consciousness. It's like you have seen the creme egg, you're now sure there's creme inside the egg, but you still doubt there is creme in the egg, and you have like 1-2% consciousness dial increase. You're stuck between the two parallels, Nirvana and Materialism. You can't fully go back to blissful ignorance, and now you have to somehow work towards full-awakening.
  6. @diamondpenguin What did you say that was dogmatic scepticism?
  7. @sausagehead He's in denial of his mental health. Quite sad honestly.
  8. @Javfly33 I would buy pea protein powder, consume oatmeal, tofu, lentils and pea protien. I wouldn't rush a transition to veganism. I would personally include one vegan recipe a week, and build from there. You may need an iron supplement for low meat intake. Creatine is another supplement to consider. It's important to research micro nutrients to prevent deficiencies. Also consider vegan foods tend to be less calorie dense.
  9. @Chumbimba Don't let the mind fall into concept and imagination bubbles, just observe it the bubble of thought arising and passing in you awareness without being engulfed by it.
  10. @rlc Be worried about the saturated fat, cholesterol etc in bacon. Eat a healthier, leaner meat instead.
  11. @DevOcean Don't touch phycedelics at all. That's the worst advice I've ever heard @Leo Gura. The last thing I'd want for him is relapse.
  12. @Someone here Drug go in brain -> Chemical affects brain -> Brain alters state of consciousness
  13. @Leo Gura Can anyone explain what Inner Engineering is? Sadhguru won't shut up about yet I don't think anyone knows what it is.
  14. @Bestyle2209 I don't know if this is possible, but it would be cool to scan the brain on psychedelics, Like you would have different groups. A group meditating. A group meditating on phycedelics. A group on phycedelics. A group without phycedelics and not meditating
  15. @DevOcean Know two things, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel and all suffering is impermanent.
  16. @Leo Gura You dismay science and the biological processes of the mind. smh
  17. @Elton Might be anxiety related, you need to have thick skin in life. A silly forum comment is truly minuscule compared to interactions, especially in workplaces.
  18. @Leo Gura Would you agree there is the subtle enlightenment and the absurd enlightenment?
  19. @meow_meow If your family struggle from some extreme mental health problem, don't even consider it.
  20. @Leo Gura God has to imagine the parallel universe, not your egoic self.
  21. Hey guys, So, a quick summary. I have been trying to juggle lots of different aspects of self-improvement. I spent hours creating a life-plan for myself and I create goals and objectives around them. I also have made routines for myself, using a checklist method in my digital common place book (Onenote). It was an ok method for behaviour management, however it wasn't time aware. I knew the benefits of scheduling and have achieved a lot from it, however I didn't take it seriously. I revisited block scheduling and it has honestly changed my life. Every night before bed, I spend 30 minutes planning my schedule for the next day. I have been using google calendars, which also sends me reminders half an hour before a specific task. I still have kept my daily routine on Onenote and use it as a reference point to create my schedule. Routine and Schedule are two very distinct things. A routine hasn't got time blocks around them. You know that you have to do them, but there's no accountability to do them at specific times. Scheduling gives you time management and awareness. Living unconsciously, it's easy to fall into bad behaviours, patterns etc. It's very easy to become unconscious. When you are conscious, you can see clearly what is required of you and you gain a meta-perspective of the maze you're in, but you are still that rat which lives inside that maze. If you don't have safety nets to fall into, you will find yourself falling into unconscious traps.
  22. @ivankiss Just develop proper breathing through cardiovascular exercise. You think mo farah would breathe shallow? Also you can't always watch the breath.
