Simple, because they teach the math in an isolated and bubbled environment in which they cannot apply to the real world. And they cannot Be applied because MATH represents PSYCHICAL objects. Not abstract runes on a page. Just look at the geniuses within math. Galileo turned the cords they wrote on paper into a map. Rene de Cart ? turned beats on a table into a graph.
