  1. Dude at this point I don’t even know what you are trying to say. Read a book about non-duality or two before you dogmatically state your beliefs against something you clearly don’t grasp. Its like you are trying to argue against something which you don’t even understand what the counter argument is trying to say.
  2. Hyperventilation is short, shallow breaths that actually de-oxygenates you from my understanding. The shamanic breathing is deep breaths into your diaphragm that will give you excess oxygen compared to normal breathing. From a physiological standpoint its not dangerous in of itself, but there are other factors like your mental state to take into account. If you are a healthy individual with a healthy mind who practices meditation I wouldn’t worry too much.
  3. Why do you think, or what specifically do you think is making you feel drained or burnt out?
  4. I think meditation is a form of letting go, might be dangerous to rationalize that as a means to stop meditating
  5. ?
  6. Thats awesome. im with everyone else please be careful, it might be wise to have a trip sitter. but at the same time lets not put fear in his heart that may affect his trip when he is truly wanting a spiritual experience I dont think that dose is dangerously high either, would just recommend making sure that IS the dosage and your substance is pure
  7. But you just said that God is everything in the post I quoted you so you are contradicting yourself. what you are misinterpreting is that you think the statement “you are God” means ONLY you are God, or you as more of God than anything else, then in that sense you are right. But you are misunderstanding the message. The floor you are standing on or the toilet you are sitting on is just as much as god as you. “You” being God goes beyond your personal identity of who you think you are. Thats just a misconception of who you really are. That misconception, your identity, is your ego, and that is not God, but in a sense, is still part of God and made of God. Self-Deluded individuals, what your trying to say, think their Ego is God and everything else is not.
  8. Ultimately you are alone in the universe in the absolute sense, so I think it will be helpful for you to reframe your concern of “not connecting with people” into using your new elevated consciousness to display as much love as you can to those other people who may not understand or have experienced certain spiritual things you have. Or have they? Thats also an unknown sometimes. So just show love and people will be attracted toward you, and if they hate you because of that you accept it, still show love, and realize only you control your internal state of happiness. hope that helps, coming from someone who has not done 5meo but wants to and respects the courage of even doing it
  9. If you kill 10 people knowing its causing suffering for others then this current life you have will be hellish for you
  10. Dolphins are probably out there right now like “why dolphins?”
  11. This is a great topic, I’ve watched that video multiple times and am familiar with a lot of his other videos too. salvia is such an interesting substance. I was thinking about how the salvia experience relates to the fact that “everything is consciousness” seems so many salvia experiences are people becoming inanimate objects or being in a 2D cartoon realm. Like the plant “or your true self through the plant” is trying to teach the user a specific lesson on the nature of reality that other substances don’t point to in the same way
  12. You never really lose it though, since the truth is always there no matter what. Even if you think you lost it. Would that not be the delusion then? Thinking you lost it?
  13. Are you not a part of "everything"?
  14. Yeah It can but I think the emphasis needs to be put on addiction rather than weed. Addiction in general can make you feel depressed. Can ____ addiction make me feel depressed? Depending on the severity, yes. Talking about weed specifically, I think it is obviously the lesser of evils compared to drugs that give you physical dependency/withdrawals. From everything I've researched, weed addiction can be physical to an extent, but is mostly psychological. And I'm sure the phycological/physical aspects of dependency can reflect off of each-other in a sense. You have to stop smoking, if not permanently then for a long break, if you are not liking how it is affecting your life. I've been in that situation where I would get high and not even feel high anymore so to speak, and I asked myself "wtf am I even doing this for then?" It will get better if you stop in the long run, in the short term expect it to be hard but there are other things to do to take your mind off of it.
  15. The first time I smoked and it hit me I was alone and it was the most profound experience of my life I would say, in that it opened up my consciousness so much to other possibilities of existence. I was very closed minded at the time and have done psychedelics since that were also very profound. But I would have never embarked on my journey of curiosity and discovery about the universe, or have been interested to do psychedelics had I not had the experience I had with cannabis. Sometimes I think that first time I shocked myself into releasing endogenous DMT or some other compound in my brain or something, idk if thats what happened or if that is even possible, but thats what it felt like if I were to describe it. It was the first thing that slapped me in the face and made me realize "theres more to existence than I thought there was" because my mind never fathomed that consciousness could be altered in that way. I think a lot of people just dismiss cannabis that it can do no good compared to psychedelics but In my experience that is false. It won't do it for everybody but it did it for me. I do believe however it will not take you as far, just in the right scenario it can alter a persons consciousness profoundly. IME there is a ceiling you hit with cannabis in a sense, that you are still able to derive spiritual benefit from it, but not to the same extent that psychedelics do. And it will loose its spiritual benefit if you do it too often.
  16. "There is action in inaction and inaction in action" I don't think that flowing with life means not pushing, I think pushing when appropriate can be considering going with the flow.
  17. @Leo Gura I think a follow up video to "What is truth" where you equate truth to love and explain the distinction between the absolute "Love" you are referring to and "love", the human emotion would clear up a lot of confusion. An in depth breakdown would be really helpful, going over objections like "how could torture be love?" will help people see where you are coming from here, assuming they can understand it.
  18. You are stuck in subjective/objective perspective duality. The truth comes prior to those mental concepts. It is what is.
  19. Its not viable IF you aren’t getting any further benefit out of it. But it isnt a raw truth that at some point it HAS to stop being viable for everyone. Have you considered that there might be some sort of roadblock? Hence why psychedelics alone wont do all the work for you. Thats where other forms of consciousness work come in for you. You are right its not necessarily fear-based for everyone but i think it can be interpreted that way in some instances if not understood correctly.
  20. So you are just taking the opinions of some people who have done psychedelics as raw truth while ignoring other peoples opinions who have done them. of course you cant “drug yourself into enlightenment” this is a reductionist way of thinking anyway equating psychedelics to other forms of drugs. the point is there is no right or wrong way, but psychedelics can be a powerful tool if you find them useful. “If you get the message hang up the phone” is a fear-based mindset that CAN hinder further growth, there is no way of knowing you got the “final message you could receive” so-to speak. Of course there are stupid and responsible ways of doing them.
  21. This logic is flawed, you cant equate dehydrating yourself and losing water weight to a a new level of consciousness being accessed. You are comparing the function of the physical body to how awareness works. edit: also see if your sober/non sober duality breaks down on psychedelics because if you take them you can feel more sober than in your “sober perspective”. Of course you would need to experience this before you can judge them.
  22. The problem is those 2 sentences are just language. The truth is they are both the same thing. You are thinking about this in terms of concepts. Those 2 concepts are relative, because they are both just thoughts in your mind. The truth is they are both thoughts that "are the case" in reality before you can analyze their meaning with other thoughts.
  23. I feel like what he is trying to say is that is the best supplement for awakening work. But again not the only way. Just doing the psychedelics by themselves without being aware of any of this actualization/consciousness work would just be what tons of unconscious people do. So many people take psychedelics entering the deepest states of consciousness and are dumbfounded but are no closer to truth because they are still materialists chalking everything up to brain chemistry and neurons alone, or having no idea what they saw, or making ideologies out of what happens, like, "DMT is just a shortcut to the afterlife, you are seeing something you shouldn't have access too before death", things like that.. Becoming conscious about how to use them and then smartly supplementing them in is the way to go. While there are other ways to alter your consciousness to those levels like yoga, meditation, they are not like a psychedelic which is like an authority figure thats gonna pick you up, throw you in the rollercoaster seat, strap you down extremely tight and pin your eyelids open so that you are sure to pay attention.
  24. He was using 1+1=3 to better teach you the difference between 1st and 2nd order truths. Language/symbols/concepts is second order. Yourself as a human being is a learned concept, you as a separate being supposedly existing independently of other objects is a concept, result of language. That is a duality that is true in the relative sense. If you can understand this then you know what you really are is not a human being in the absolute sense, you are that who is aware that you think you are a human being , and this can free you from suffering if you deeply identify with the negative things in your life, while still accepting your human existence as a relative truth.
  25. Wishing you the best! Also beyond what Leo said nutrition and exercise are powerful tools to help you overcome this
