  1. Is that why they are instinctual killing-machines? They want to liberate other beings from their limitation?
  2. Were you ever interested in finding out what animal you were in a past life?
  3. Any good videos on this?
  4. @Matt8800 I had a weird experience yesterday when I was watching a video about clairvoyance, and I have been noticing weird coincidences like when I wake up in the morning, I always know what time it is before looking at the clock (and I wake up at variable times depending on my ever-changing schedule, these are on days where my alarm doesnt wake me at an exact time) so when I look at the clock when I have this prediction, its either the exact same time on the minute or within like a 5 minute window. Has happened many times. Anyway yesterday when thinking about clairvoyance I predicted the exact moment my girlfriend opened the door and got home from work (she gets home at different times within like an hour window) without any factors that would have led me to know. I just looked at the door, had a feeling, committed to that moment being the moment, and I heard keys and the door immediately opened, which scared myself a bit. anything to this or my mind playing tricks?
  5. Practicing Kriya before bed the last 2 nights i’ve been able to fall asleep much faster than i usually do. Like as soon as I lay down my body has this really good energetic sensation with that leftover pressure between my eyebrows (which feels kind of pleasurable to me lol) and its lights out for me in just a few minutes. Then this morning I woke up around an hour earlier than I usually do and feel extremely rested.
  6. Ive been using it daily for around a month straight and have dabbled in it in the past. The effects are subtle, but it is an adaptogen that helps you handle stress better and can help raise testosterone to normal levels. I’ve been feeling great since I’ve started it, although I can never pinpoint the exact effects of the ashwagandha alone. Its also a sleep enhancer, do an experiment where you take it before bed and see if you have vivid dreams like I got from it.
  7. Isnt putting the label "suffering" on a sensation still judging the sensation? Sensation is just raw bodily energy
  8. Have you seen this guys videos yet? It goes along with the book and helped me get clarification. The books explanation of Ujjayi pranayama left me confused till this guy simplified it to using the same muscles as whispering which made it easy and effortless to me and I got the shah and shee sounds.
  9. I think it can be more addictive to some people than others. But, the plant has an intelligence that kind of puts a cap on how high you can get from it, like when you reach a certain dose it gives you an uncomfortable nauseous feeling. Definitely addictive at the point of wanting to change mood or get things done, but can be used responsibly as a tool just like all things.
  10. No problem! Hoping you get that breakthrough soon, I find the slow breathing in the pranayamas help to calm my mind and slow down thoughts, making it easier to chip away at that one pointed concentration. Also JC says you can adjust your focal point of the concentration, maybe the top of your head would work better for you than the point between the eyebrows, im still trying to figure out what works best for me
  11. Hey man you are interpreting Leo wrong. Your attention is like a muscle that you have to grow. You can't just expect to jump into something having perfect, "full" attention, its something that is developed. What he means is terms of dedication, what you want to get out of it. You clearly are striving to get that full attention. But if you don't want to perfect your attention over time and are satisfied with mediocrity, that is what half-assing means.
  12. While this is true, "I" as in the separate self is a story too, so in order to reach an audience of people still identified with their ego to various degrees, Leo has to move up the spiral of stories so to speak. Leo does remind his audience that actualized.org can be outgrown, but just like spiral dynamics you are never going to outgrow it unless you get to that stage first.
  13. Sounds just like a normal struggle of concentrating, I would just keep practicing more and more, you could be on the verge of a breakthrough
  14. I was like DAMN you must have transcended human consciousness if you think 15g is a normal dose
  15. I would try to get to the source of where that came from, its probably from cultural conditioning or past emotional traumas, which you can heal. If you immerse yourself in spiritual work like self-inquiry, yoga, meditation, maybe some psychedelic trips it will start to clear itself up over time. The most important thing to realize is that you are loved and cultivating an unconditional love for yourself will go a long way in healing.
  16. Only from a certain perspective/state of consciousness. You are stuck at the conceptual level of time, in actuality all that exists is the continuous flow of the present moment that can’t ever be captured by language. Theres a book I recommend you read “this extraordinary moment” by john astin, that will help you deconstruct your conceptual notions and expand your mind
  17. Listen to this one. "See I believe if God is real, he'll never judge a man Because he knows us all and therefore he would understand The ignorance that make a nigga take his brother's life The bitterness and pain that got him beating on his wife"
  18. To play devils advocate what if I have an intense drawing to LSD or a certain research chemical over something organic? nvm, disregard that question in reality i have an intense drawing to psychedelic cacti ?
  19. Okay so energy wise, what would you say the distinct benefits are of psilocybin mushrooms compared to peyote/san pedro? Is one more healing of a certain aspect of the mind/body?
  20. What would your opinion be on psilocybin administered in a clinical setting? That is synthetic psilocybin molecule to my knowledge, they don’t use harvested mushroom material.
  21. The nice thing about shrooms is that with a little education you can easily grow them and have a self-sustaining supply, but it depends if you are in the right living situation and you can acquire the spores.
  22. Yeah thats true, I was using a macro-example but I think its more or less the same phenomenon
  23. Its actually the opposite, your "real-time awareness" is focusing on time from a certain perspective or state of consciousness. Its not a skeptics perspective to say time is relative, because the experience of time does indeed change when introduced to different variables.
  24. Probably because of evolution or growth. Like for example it might be profound to have an insight which moves you up from spiral stage orange to green. But when you move from green to yellow that orange-green transition won't seem relevant anymore.
