So 10mg per kg of body weight? So I weigh 92kg meaning I need 920mg? Seems like a brain lesion lol I believe the first plateau is only around 100mg is it not? -

@seeking_brilliance That sounds like an amazing idea, last night I had a vivid dream about past emotional trauma, and I cant believe I didnt become lucid. After becoming lucid a couple nights ago, it built up a lot of confidence and motivation in me. I’m just going to keep trying the techniques and get a physical dream journal. Have you tried any lucid dream supplements you take before your REM cycle like galantamine or choline? -
Its normal to backslide. No progress without regress. I would watch Leos vid on ego backlash. But in the meantime, dont think, just do. Get up early, do yoga, compromise by getting food you enjoy but is still relatively healthier than shitty junk food. And then build off that. Keep meditating, instead of surfing the web stimulating your mind read life changing books that stimulate your mind.

The catch is it could potentially be one of the most mentally challenging experiences your psyche can undergo. Its not just a guaranteed trip to cloud 9, you have to confront traumatic and unsettling shit from time to time.

Stephen Laberge touches on some important points connecting lucid dreaming to non-duality. Must watch, similar to Leos content. Btw, thats strange that people wake up feeling tired the next day after lucid dreaming. In my own experience, I wake up in a great mood excited at the amazing phenomenon that just took place, and energized to start the day. -

@pluto This is true, the first time I did mushrooms I came into it without reading any negative trip reports or having any worries that a bad trip was going to happen and it was an amazingly blissful time, little over 2.5g In my last 2g trip the few weeks before out of curiosity was reading all sorts of negative trip reports, or trying to gage in my mind the likelihood of good vs bad trips out of the percentages of good vs bad experience I could find. Leading up to the dose this only caused extreme anxiety, when i popped them in my mouth it felt like I just punched my ticket to the worlds tallest roller coaster and had thoughts like “what the hell am I doing?” Luckily I still had a great experience and was able to reach a blissful state during the come up but the negative trip reports didn’t do me any good. -
Maybe Leo is on some Albert Hoffman shit, did so much research that he f*cked around and synthesized something new, rode his bike to the grocery store to get some more blueberries for that healthy morning shake of his....you know what happens next

@JayFueel Thats interesting I've always heard of DXM being risky and making you feel like crap the next day/can cause brain lesions. Its always intrigued me though since its so accessible to get. Few Qs if one wanted to re-create this trip: Was it the pure DXM cough suppressant pills you would buy at the store? And was this edible or smoked cannabis? Which substance was consumed first? -

He beat your dogs? Next time walk your dogs with a leash, but if someone is beating my dog it warrants a physical altercation, im going to defend the poor defenseless animal who didn’t do anything wrong.

You have to deconstruct your conditioned notions about “drugs” and are completely misunderstanding the message.

You use it or you lose it, so keep it up! i would recommend other forms of exercise as well to increase your strength and resilience as you age. Incorporate some resistance training and some high intensity interval training to give yourself a well rounded fitness routing along with the steady state cardio. The resistance training if done correctly/appropriately will strengthen your joints and provide structural balance so you stay running for longer. Not to mention nothing is better bang for your buck time spent exercising than HIIT intervals. If you are pressed for time or want to devote more of your time elsewhere, ditch the hour run and you can get an intense HIIT workout in in 10-15 mins.

No problem. It doesnt make a big difference, 12 hours has been shown to be the sweet spot. But 14 will give you an extra couple hours in ketosis. I would play around with it if I were you. If 14 feels good, go for it, if it feels a little much like you are depriving yourself, stick with 12. Once in a while its been shown that longer fasts like 16+ hours can be beneficial, but not every day. I would try some experiments on yourself, see what feels best.
-
Yes 12 hours is a sustainable fasting window. I suppose you could go 14, but I would only do 16 on certain days, not every day. This can be stressful on your body if this means you are sacrificing your total daily calories. Just to clarify, you probably know this but fasting doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with calorie restriction, its just narrowing the eating window. So make sure you are still getting then proper amount of food you need in your eating window. Ultimately if your goal isnt weight loss, 12 hours had been shown to be really all you need for that optimal metabolic reset. I would only recommend beyond that once in a while or if you are trying to lose weight. A good recourse for intermittent fasting, ketosis, nutrition in general is the ben greenfield fitness podcast. He interviews other nutritional experts and has a lot of in depth content to explain the science of fasting.

If youre binging it all the time and don’t have the patience to read a book I can see why thats a problem. Personally, going off what I feel, sometimes I am in the mood for listening to videos and sometimes I go into mini phases(a few days/week/few weeks) of putting videos aside and just implementing the practices. This is just a go-with-the-flow type of thing listening to my inner guide, not a lot of planning, just sometimes I have a desire to take in information and sometimes I turn the targeting computer off and blow up the death star myself. ? Leo also had mentioned before (I think in the how to do self inquiry video) that if you only watch the videos and dont do the work it will negatively effect you, like not just not give you the benefits but do you harm because of the cognitive dissonance, which is true. Living consciously is taking responsibility when you learn new information to actually apply it.

Theres always something to say, but if you dont have a calm and still mind you will feel blockages, you have to be fully present with the other person/people and not be in fear of what they think of you if you say the “wrong thing”. All that matters is you consciously analyze what you want to say and it lives up to your own standards. This usually instantaneously happens in the mind, if I you tap into creativity of the moment. Shouldnt feel forced.

How you feeling the day after that dose of DXM? -
It depends on the time of your last calorie before you went to sleep. Generally it is a good practice to fast for at least 12 hours from your last calorie of the day to the first calorie of the next day. This has been linked to greater health and longevity, since your body has a chance to clean itself up on a cellular level in that fasting window. Its also a good practice to give yourself around an hour after you wake up to start eating. I've learned this from nutrition scientists, so you give your body a chance to start functioning normally. When you first wake up you are still adjusting to the waking state and isn't optimal for immediate digestion. To me, this isn't do or die that it has to be a full hour, for example I might have something lighter like a banana or a liquid form of calories around 30 to 45 mins later, but if its a heavy meal I would definitely wait at least an hour or eat it very gradually. Same thing applies for eating a heavy meal before bed. Don't do this within an hour before sleep because it will sacrifice your sleep quality/digestion/nutrient absorption. So for example if you if you have your last calorie at 9pm the night before, go to bed around 10/10:30, wake up around 7:30/8am, 9 would be a perfect time to start eating a nutritional breakfast with protein, healthy fats, and depending on your energy demands some complex carbs. I wouldn't rigidly obsess about the eating window (if 12 hours is too long a certain day 10 hours is fine) , that will lead to unneeded stress and everyone has different demands of they daily routines, but try to follow this best you can and it will be great for your health.

@EntheogenTruthSeeker I havent done Ibogaine but from my research I know it is a lot different than LSD. It works in a different way not only neurochemically but the nature of trip is apples and oranges. Its more physically intense, its like an intense stimulant kind of psychedelic, that increases your heart rate a lot and if given to much to the wrong person can be cardiotoxic. Theres an interesting article Ive read on it, comparing it to ayahuasca, must read: https://www.aubreymarcus.com/blogs/aubrey-marcus/ayahuasca-vs-iboga That guy Aubrey Marcus also talked about his Iboga experiences on the Joe Rogan experience in much depth, I would youtube that podcast episode if I were you. Me personally, it sounds intriguing but is something that doesnt call me as much as other psychedelics that are easier to use safely. I would try mushrooms if I were you, a low dose maybe 1-1.5 dry grams in a safe environment with a well thought intention and see if that has that healing you are looking for. -

Shrooms will not make everyone feel like "ass" the next day. Sometimes you will feel amazingly high on life for days and weeks after a shroom trip. You are not automatically tapping into pleasure centers, like you are on a recreational drug like heroin for example, which is going to give you a desired effect, the psychedelic is going to amplify existing consciousness, which may or may not be pleasurable. If it is pleasurable, its likely because you are seeing a new perspective on life and tapping into your natural bliss, it isn't forcing you to be ecstatic like mdma for example. What you are saying is just as true the other way around, imagine the individuals brain chemistry already being "messed up" and the psychedelic is a tool to bring it back closer to baseline if used correctly. Psychedelics go far beyond brain chemistry, they will show you truths about existence. -

Yeah this is where conventional labels of emotions create problems of how one “should” be feeling. Like that beautiful sad feeling you are describing comes with a negative connotation in society, like its a problem that should be fixed. The automatic reaction by the average person would be “oh no! Thats terrible you feel that way”. And if one buys into that it will manifest itself as always seeking a “better” state and suppressing what needs to come up. But instead just removing the label and feeling the raw emotional energy is positive in itself since we are designed to full feel into the full spectrum of emotions and not create additional thought stories of how a certain feeling should or shouldn’t be there. -
Just be safe and get the non fluoridated toothpaste, it will often be the same price as the fluoridated one. And be sure to floss and get a natural mouth rinse. Sometimes I even dilute a few drops of lemongrass or tea tree essential oils in a few ounces of water and use it as mouth-rinse, which makes my teeth feel insanely fresh. Don't neglect your oral health, it doesn't just exist in a vacuum, it will impact the other parts of your body as well and approve your smile and maybe even boost your confidence talking to others.
