  1. lol same This is still a misconception. You are putting a direct experience on the same level of belief because you haven't had that direct experience yet so you want to bring it down to your level, naturally. Its nothing to believe or not believe, its direct understanding of whats actually the case, on the same level of directly experiencing you are a conscious being. Its a re-frame of what you've been experiencing your whole life, hidden in plain sight. You just have a bunch of conditioning and assumptions to unwire.
  2. I've tried it myself and have done a lot of research into the different frequencies. I have experimented starting a binaural beats session with beta, then transitioning to alpha (for twice the time I was in beta) then dipping to theta (2x time in alpha) same thing with delta and then eventually gamma. This progressive slowing of the waves made it a bit more profound. Although paradoxically, I have heard that even though gamma is the most rapid frequency to get to it you have to dip below delta, not by going above beta. Haven't seen much further information or deep investigation on how to best apply these practically in different scenarios. The most practical uses of binaural beats for me so far have been delta waves during a meditation before going to sleep.
  3. Maybe it goes deeper than what you are thinking. About your cold, even if minor that is an illness in your body that is definitely related to a mind/body interaction about stress in your life perhaps. Something deeper going on emotionally, that could've caused this trip. Don't dismiss a cold as just a cold, it definitely goes deeper than that. Even if you attribute it to pure physical reasons, such as your immune system being exposed to some pathogens or you eating something shitty, its all connected in the mind/body stress response. Some things to contemplate. Don't let it discourage you though. Keep charging forward responsibly and im sure you will overcome this and get many great trips in the future. Try to see the humor in what happened with the blood scenery best you can as well, even if it seems strange. Just my advice, I am no expert in this but these are things I try and do myself.
  4. I would definitely invest in a scale to weigh it out. Can get good ones for relatively cheap online. Maybe try to eyeball out of memory the dose you took on the scale and see how much that was to get an idea, then compare with dosage intensities online. Maybe you took a lot more than you were ready for. Simple things like this I think will influence your subconscious before the trip, knowing you're doing it in the most responsible way possible and having a way to measure out the dose beforehand so you aren't just jumping in with maybe some hidden subconscious anxiety of not knowing it.
  5. Out of curiosity, how long did the visions of blood everywhere seem to last in your mind? Not how long the trip was in real time but did it seem to stay like that for a good period of time? And did this trigger a fear or panic response immediately? Or was it more of an uncomfortable feeling of confusion?
  6. Have you ever downed spirulina powder in water? That was the most gag reflex inducing thing I've downed, maybe along with ashwagandha powder in water. Wonder how it compares to downing the cactus. Is it necessary to chew for a longer period for alkaloid absorption?
  7. Theres a lot of fear involved in people accessing the pure chemicals, in the US. Some average people are scared of horror stories about the feds or don't know how to approach accessing them online, especially since all the reputable vendor sourcing was banned, or scared of the dark web. I feel a lot of people would rather blow all that time and travel money to travel to Peru than risk ordering.
  8. Some insight into your question Around the 15:00 mark he starts telling about a dream where he consciously chose not to indulge in something exciting like sex but wanted to go deeper and get to the godhead/source of consciousness.
  9. @GreenWoods Funny, when I took 8mg galantamine, I had a dream I was in a classroom studying a textbook about lucid dreaming. But failed to become lucid and realized this after the fact. Drove me crazy. Its been very elusive and frustrating for me. I took it on a later rem cycle, it was maybe 2 or 3 hours before I was supposed to wake, but either it wired me a bit or placebo too much excitement about LD for falling asleep. Will revisit soon, maybe with another sedative herb like valerian.
  10. This is a great podcast indeed, watched/listened multiple times and each time I get a new valuable piece of info I didnt catch before. He really covered great info on so much, healthy foods/herbs, mindy/body connection (and the powers of healing pain/illness from within), pitfalls of modern medicine/academia, psychedelics and nature of consciousness (he touched on how everything is consciousness) You should check out Weils appearance on the Aubrey marcus podcast, very good as well. Posted it here earlier.
  11. You have a recommended weekly dose for entheogenic use?
  12. @GreenWoods Great posts. Been trying for a while with pada and reality checks, and became lucid a couple times, but lost awareness again in the dream or the dream destabilized. Also tried galantamine right before my REM cycle and its frustrating because it makes it harder for me to fall back asleep.
  13. Very interesting indeed. I would also think more often you would get a vehement denial rather than neutrality based on the radical nature of some of the video topics. Like, people can't connect the dots to actually do a minimal amount self reflection or give a small effort to comprehend the implications of what they are hearing if it just happens to be true? Seems like if you were to actually dedicate 1-2 hours of your time to watch lets say one video you would do at least a minimum amount of reflecting. But the low conscious person is wired differently, not ready. @exhale brings up good points, the person initiating the search or stumbling upon content like that themselves vs another recommending them to watch might have an impact.
  14. I think thats just talking about illegal or fringe legal substances, not nootropics sold on amazon, not really a big deal imo but I could be wrong. No prob.
  15. This is awesome, thanks for recommending this. I have experimented with normal synthetic GABA but it was before I did any research on its inability to cross the blood brain barrier, but only theoretically work through a gut microbiome-brain interaction. Didn't feel any effects, maybe a little placebo here or there. Definitely getting some of this pharmagaba. @Raptorsin7 Can you share a link to what you got or PM if it makes a difference for you?
  16. It stems from people in positions of authority wanting control over the masses. Very fundamentally related to the survival of the ego by those in power. By brainwashing others that a fundamental part of human biology was sinful and instilling fear in them for giving in to their natural sexual desires they can more easy control the masses while they indulge in all of that themselves because they self-justify as being above their own rules.
  17. It seems to me what you are describing is the typical way of thinking about karma. But what if becoming CEO lets say for a company that is changing lives for the better didn't result in them suffering a tremendous loss just because of their success in life, and instead just reaped more blessings?
  18. Maybe something that can be requested beforehand, not to have that happen? Seems like something that you could even sue them for. Maybe not technically, not sure, but it seems like that is a breach of human rights. Definitely sad to hear .
  19. If you believe you can't do something you will turn it into your reality. Its a self fulfilling prophecy. Don't fall into the trap of using "my brain" "my genetics" as excuses for not being able to do something. That is a victim mentality belief that you are buying into that will make you miss out on life. Even if you look at it through the scientific paradigm genetics are not set in stone. They constantly change based on your thoughts/lifestyle/food you put in your body, ect. As for the silly pill discussion, the only pill you need should have ground up psilocybin mushroom in it, taken on an empty stomach with a proper intention.
  20. Around 4 years ago my initial catalyst for radically opening my mind was cannabis. Especially edible cannabis. Made me think about concepts more deeply and seemed to open up a new spiritual plane of existence. Spent hours watching youtube videos about mystical topics that stimulated my curiosity in contrast to the mind numbing entertainment I was used to exposing myself to. Spent countless hours researching articles on the web about states of consciousness/the soul/death/human nature, ect. With my life history/childhood I think it had a unique interaction with me, and probably other factors were playing into my mind opening up around that time too. It helped me break out of a cult christian fundamentalist religion I was born and indoctrinated into. And I began getting highly interested in studying psychedelics. I didn't have my first psychedelic experience with mushrooms until 3 years later though. Also to add nowadays it doesn't give me those same benefits. The more often I do it the less benefit I get. More often than not if I do it now and get really high I will be in this state where I wish I didn't do it to myself because I feel this unpleasant lethargic feeling. So I pretty much stopped using it. It used to help me sleep better too but now I feel it worsens my sleep because my body temperature feels dysregulated and my mind/thinking is too ramped up. Going forward I plan on doing it once in a blue moon because once in a while I will get a valuable insight/perspective shift from it.
  21. @Rasheed Check out this article + podcast/transcript, highly informative. Ben Greenfield is imo the best source for nutritional science advice in the world of fitness and performance. https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/article/plant-based-diet/ https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/podcast/nutrition-podcasts/episode-230-full-transcript/
  22. @Average Investor Thanks for sharing. I've been interested in bitcoin but don't want to make those beginner mistakes of losing coins or not going about it in the most optimal way. It isn't a super high priority in my life right now to start doing deep research about it, would take time away from a lot of my other pursuits but its something I want to incrementally learn about so I can one day use it. I used to be more or less tech savy but fell off the wagon a bit.
  23. This guy is most definitely yellow in a lot of aspects. He goes meta on the fitness world. Good example of systems thinking. Has the most advanced perspective on training/human movement, more than 99% of other trainers/fitness coaches.
  24. @Average Investor Interesting. What exactly do you mean by cold storage? Not even downloaded on a computer hard drive but stored in an external device?
  25. An athletic woman doesn't have to be masculine at all. An athletic woman is in good physical shape, which is naturally attractive to the opposite sex. A masculine woman, physically, would most likely be taking substances/compounds to build more lean muscle tissue than her body is normally capable of. A naturally strong woman who works out or plays sports is still going to have a feminine figure. Those man-like muscles don't happen without some chemical assistance in the vast majority of cases.
