Never had nausea with mushrooms. Not anything significant at least. But you can take them with ginger tablets. -

This forum is a great tool but also a huge distraction at the same time. You just gotta stay conscious about how you are using it. -
Nice pun

Its both, the mind can't rationalize what God is, but God is simultaneously everything and nothing. -
PSA: You can get all 9 essential amino acids through plant sources, in large quantities. Plenty of gains can be made in the gym folks. Just buy a quality plant protein powder. I can give recommendations just PM me.

@Osaid Yeah they can. Which video does he promote a raw diet? From the videos I've seen he cooks the veggies.

How exactly do you know anything? What is the mechanism of knowing? In the context of what we are talking about, slaughtering animals, it is both obvious and clear. Use your intuition.

@Derek White I think you need to re-watch Leos videos on morality and "do brains exist". The whole point of the video "do brains exist" is to debunk the materialist paradigm. The distinction Leo is making is that instead of there being a "physical brain" that produces consciousness, consciousness imagines a brain. That being said, there is still a pink fleshy substance in your skull that you need to survive in the relative domain. So in a relative perspective, yes, the brain "exists". Existentially, it is imaginary. But that doesn't mean in this relative life that the thing we point to and call a brain is just irrelevant. Morality is a human invention. Leo exposes that. But that is not a justification in the way you are using it. The more conscious you become, you realize you are making yourself suffer if you inflict suffering to others. This is not conventional morality, it is higher consciousness. Be careful taking Leos words literally and turning them into a belief system.

@Derek White Stage Yellow would take the empathy from stage green, not leave it behind. The excesses of green involving empathy would be being so self-less that you basically become a doormat and get walked on. Yellow would be taking back the individuality but still be empathetic to unnecessary suffering and cruelty. Its quite obvious that animals suffer. Stage yellow doesn't need to "question" it. lol. Whether sentient beings are "real" or not would be the same as you being "real" or not. If we grabbed you and put you in a line in a human slaughterhouse you would be pissing your pants crying for mommy. Not questioning whether the situation was real.

@Serotoninluv Yes, and then the fact they are fed GMO corn and grain which makes them even more sick with the bad living conditions, there bodies aren't designed to process those foods. And even labels like Grass-Fed are still dishonest, can still have supplemental feeds of corn and grain. Your best bet is finding a reputable company with "100% grass fed" or "grass-finished" label. Sometimes the "grass" they are eating are low quality grass-pellets too. To make matters worse a lot of meat is imported from other countries where the farming practices are so poorly regulated. Its a slippery slope with animal products.
-
I'm not a vegan btw, I eat animal products. But there is a distinction between sustainable animal products and mercilessly slaughtered animals.

People are misusing the term “nothing matters” in this thread as if non-duality is nihilism. No right or wrong doesn’t mean conscious people don’t act in conscious ways. This transcends morality, If all is one, you treat everyone as if they are an extension of you, not because of a moral code, a carrot or a stick. People are fast to say “nothing matters” but if they were the one being tortured or abused im sure you would quickly drop that way of thinking when your own ass is on the line.
-
@Chakra LionSlaughtering is terrible, I am trying to stop eating slaughtered animals, I've pretty much cut my animal product intake to pasture raised eggs, dairy from goats, and occasionally wild fish.
-
Lets establish that morality is a human invention, im sure we agree on that. But, as a conscious individual, how does murdering people win you any game?
-
Theres sustainable sources of animal food that do not harm the environment nor the body when consumed. You have to be educated in nutrition (not just talking school education but your own research) on how to read ingredient labels and which products to buy. Its not a black and white issue, its highly nuanced, for you to demonize all people who consume animal products and call them unspiritual is just a reflection of your own shadow. Opposite of love and understanding. Just another ideology that eventually crumbles.

This is a good reminder in theory but the sheer cognitive dissonance this would cause if a person actually accumulated a ton of spiritual concepts but never put any of it to practice would be in itself a tall feat to accomplish. In my experience, this auto-corrects itself, theory leads to practice, practice leads to more theory, if you blatantly have an opportunity in front of you to put something into practice and deny doing so after going to the trouble of studying and seeking out this stuff that is a bit weird imo, maybe some deeper issues going on there. -
@Red-White-Light Lol

@LfcCharlie4 Yeah theres a section in boundless where he explains the wim hoff breathing technique clearly. Mixing shorter rapid breaths with breath holds at the end of a round. It's similar to shamanic breathing. It will definitely alter your consciousness, I need to get back to doing it.

@LfcCharlie4 Thanks for the recommendation. I wouldn't call the type of strength training to stay healthy bodybuilding at all though. For someone in Leos situation I would basically recommend doing basic compound movements like squats, rows, presses, lunges with just some minimal external weight and bodyweight. Just keeping it super simple, no fancy advanced exercises or isolating your arms or anything (unless the person wants to). Just a small set of kettlebells, maybe a TRX is all the equipment needed, 30-45 min 2-3 times a week, with a couple days of walking/yoga poses/ect. in between would be perfect to get stronger and be more robust from a health standpoint. Muscle would just be a byproduct that comes along in the process.

Putting God realization aside, you should meditate for health and wellness reasons at least. -Lung capacity -Calming Nervous System/Digestion -Sleep Quality -Calming monkey mind (lowering stress hormones) -Present moment awareness/increase in mental fortitude

@DrewNows Great advice
-
@Red-White-Light Yeah that is a possibility. I also wonder whether Leo keeps up with his physical fitness anymore. He says he stopped going to the gym, which is fine, but even if he just had some minimal equipment in his house to do some strength training that might rejuvenate his energy levels. If you are reading this Leo, you may have the cleanest diet but challenging your body physically has a profound effect on your vitality.

@LfcCharlie4 Appreciate the love. You can edit your signature under profile settings. Its kind of hidden but still easier than injecting stem cells -
In his videos he mentions seeing a doctor if I recall correctly, but a lot of doctors and endocrinologists don't have the best understanding of the new developments in thyroid health information because they are indoctrinated in old ways of thinking. This is a great podcast/podcast transcript that goes into a lot of depth about the issue. https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/transcripts/transcript-the-paleo-thyroid-solution-book-with-elle-russ/
