  1. This emote is triggering my anxiety
  2. This is me as of today. Are my eyes more green or blue? I've always thought they were steel, but people usually say blue.
  3. The situation you just posted sounds a little confusing, but if I'm judging it based on what I just read this is one of those times you just "nope" the fuck outa there. I wouldn't see her ever again. No sex is worth those kind of games or drama. She obviously has stuff to work through, so let her do it alone.
  4. Take a few melatonin pills, drink some peppermint tea, and put on some meditation music.
  5. Honestly I think you can come up with literally ANY opinion on ANY food and then confirm your opinion by finding supporting research for why it's good or bad online. There is an endless amount of bogus science out there. It's impossible to know what's actually true. The best you can do is try and cross reference a bunch of sources, and experiment. Remember everyone's body is unique, and reacts different to different kinds of food. What might be healthy for one person could be poison for another. Don't think a scientist, nutritionist, or someone like Leo can ever prescribe what food will be healthy or unhealthy for you. If you want to find out if coffee is good for your health or not. YOU need to actually drink coffee yourself, and then compare it to how you feel when you don't drink coffee. No article, video, or research paper will ever be able do that for you.
  6. I'm really sorry for your suffering. I don't really know what's going on exactly for you because you didn't say, have you been to a specialist or therapist to dive deeply into what might be the root of it? If you have did that help?
  7. It is possible, if that guy himself believes in that limiting possibility. Everyone is perfect for someone. Nobody is perfect for everyone.
  8. If you're careful about what you buy, and only buy things that are absolutely necessary or make you really happy, spending that money actually becomes ENJOYABLE. For example I just moved into my first full apartment where I'm completely alone. I've spent about 2.5K furnishing and for other household things, and on a few fun things for myself. I don't even have a job either right now! Usually this would make me anxiety ridden, but I know the quality of my life will improve and that I'm gonna use this stuff down the road. If you have what you need, there is simply no reason to be fearful. The only time fear should come in is when you are actually in a dangerous situation of poverty, because then it's useful and that fear will motivate you to get out of it. If you're living comfortably that fear is useless and just makes you suffer for no reason.
  9. I mean you are both mature adults, and you're probably pretty conscious of how to manipulate the conversation from getting too heated. Also since when do you care about his fans or what people think of you? Fuck em'
  10. I add them to curries, stir fry, salads, soups, sometimes by themselves as a side dish.
  11. ^ This. I'm vegetarian and when I go shopping I literally buy all of these by boxes of 12. They are filling, healthy, and can be eaten in so many different ways so if you do it right it's hard to get sick of them. Some other notes @ivankiss - Simplify your liquid intake. Drinks can get expensive and most aren't nutritious. Infinite water comes with your rent, so most of your hydration should come from water (that's gone through a filter). Regular milk, almond milk, soy milk, most of these are really expensive and don't really offer a lot of nutrition that would be better gotten from actual food. If you have anything besides water I'd recommend just pure orange juice or apple juice. - Look for vegetables on sale. You can get really good stuff for cheap. People have ridiculous standards for vegetables. They get slightly brown and massive amounts get thrown out or put in bargain bins. However unless you actually see mold or intense rotting on them they are fine to eat 99% of the time. Decondition yourself from the high standards of Western culture and you'll have a lot more options.
  12. Idk how stringent getting a hold of him is, but doesn't he do countless interviews and podcasts every year? Seems like he is just about everywhere.
  13. What would be even better is if you talked to him. Specifically on the topic of God since he cares about it. An analysis/critique is such low hanging fruit. We all already know what it'll be about. To be honest the guy gets quite unfair treatment from this community. He's got his heart in the right place and he helps millions of people with his work, like what more do you want from him?
  14. I've been enjoying the podcast so far, Charlie seems like an open minded and good dude. Thanks for opening up and getting some of this stuff out there @Leo Gura!
  15. Like boating from one island to the other after a few days like a tour.
  16. I am extremely for "progressive" prisons and for rehabilitation programs in general, but I don't believe that style of incarceration should outright replace the current system. Rather aspects and resources from it added in as targeted opportunities for those who are ready for it. I think it's easy to get clouded in naivety here. Some egos are so broken and hostile they would make a mockery out of advanced concepts and practices. Certain dogs only learn important lessons from being hit.
  17. Although he is being a pest about it he is right, there is quite a bit of spinning tires in the mud going on here on these forums. I know I'm guilty of it for sure.............
  18. There is only one answer to this thread.
  19. Sorry to barge in your thread again, I recalled our conversation and remembered something I forgot to ask a while ago. What do people do for fun on an island in the Indian Ocean like Mauritius ? Lots of hanging out at the beach obviously, surfing, sun tanning, boating and fishing. Do people island hop a lot after exhausting the island?
  20. Considering how much quality content there is, and then comparing it to a lot of other courses online scam artists are selling for thousands/tens of thousands of dollars these days - I actually think the LPC is actually UNDERPRICED.
  21. Where you are NOW no matter how dark it is, is not where you will ALWAYS be. It's understandable that it's hard to see a way out when you are in the midst of the suffering. You reached out for help by posting this thread though. So PLEASE just take another step forward and take advantage of that help. It will surprise you how much things can change for you if you let them. https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/ 1-800-273-8255
  22. Jerks usually radiate confidence and competence. The ego likes where a jerk will lead them and what they will provide. They don't care if they are nice or not, they just want results.
  23. In other words, how many of you started pursuing spirituality only AFTER a traumatic event like a trip to the hospital or the death of a close loved one? Or were you already learning about it before/during a life changing event? Just curious to see how people's spiritual journeys relate to the hardships of life, like a divorce or death. If not a large life event, what do you recall spurred your journey? Only share personal information about a traumatic event if you feel comfortable doing so.
