  1. @Jacobsrw Thanks. I should have prefixed my question with the fact that I have done psychedelics and have had many insights from my trips. They have been useful in untangling my self. I have also achieved psychedelic states from contemplation only. I've been meditating daily for a few years also. My problem is that the "highs" that I have achieved through work felt much more genuine than the "highs" that I've achieved from psychedelics. Somehow I feel unworthy of achieving these peak states just by taking a pill. The bliss is too much and I feel I am not deserving of it. Also, the peak states of psychedelics wear off much faster than the ones done with other methods. @Leo Gura I understand that material reality runs deep, but psychedelics seem too much of a "cheat-code" out of materialism. Why would God offer such an easy "cheat-code" to himself? Sounds too good to be true. It takes thought to untangle your thoughts. It takes awareness to untangle your awareness. It takes something material to untangle materialism. But I still wonder if there is deeper answer than this.
  2. Make a commitment to become the best you can be. If you gave your best and became a genius, then you were always a genius. If you gave your best and did not become a genius, then you didn't give your best. “Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” - Einstein
  3. It is little too simplistic. Joy could be one aspect, but try to add more aspects: caring, loving, wise, free, etc. Try to measure on longer timeframes: weeks, months, years. Make a journal.
  4. People are smart enough to be able to recognize a genius, without being one. People are smart enough to be able to recognize how dumb they are. When you notice that you are not a genius, the genius of others becomes you striving force to become more like them, a genius. When you become a genius, you don't strive to copy the ingeniousness of others. Genius is what you are. If everyone becomes a genius, nobody is a genius. If everyone can become a genius, then we all can become One.
  5. Man can do what he wills but he cannot will what he wills. ~ Arthur Schopenhauer.
  6. Everybody has the potential to become a Genious at anything, but not many have the potential to actualize their potential.
  7. When you were very young, your father held your hand and showed you the world. But now you outgrew your father. You outgrew the traditions in which your father grew. Now it is your time to hold your father's hand. Now you have to come down to his level, and from his level, you have to guide him slowly to your level. Hold his hand and guide him with patience and love. Understand that if he surrenders his old views, your father is surrendering his trust to you. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.
  8. This is how One becomes Great.
  9. To recap what happened on this thread: @Free Mind Free Mind became so free that he started to lose his MInd. @IAmTheHolySpirit The Holy Spirit became so Holy that told the Ego Mind to Fuck off. @traveler The traveler traveled between the mind the spirit and got lost. There is no one here. @The observer The observer observed, and told everyone to be more careful. How can you be alone, when there are so many people here for you.
  10. He goes to the apple store every day and tries to find different kinds of apples. He is trying to make a difference.
  11. You are directly experiencing love all the time, but you are just not aware of it yet. You need to go beyond the emptiness. How did your parents create you? Through love. How did your teachers teach you English so that you can understand others? Through love. How did you find Peter Ralston? Through Leo and that is partial love because Leo is missing the v. Get it? How did I answer your question? Through love You are blind to love. Open your eyes wider and you might be able to see it.
  12. Hey Jude. I can see that your post comes from a genuine place, so I thought I should also give my reply. I am not Leo, although he thinks I am him. It seems that you have ample experience with many teachers. I like your approach. When going on the journey on the discovery of the Self, we must walk the paths of the many to arrive at our own path. If we walk in the shadow of one teacher, we inherit their mistakes. When we walk in the shadows of many teachers, we can see some rays of light passing through which we didn't see with our previous teachers. Only when we uncover all shadows, we can become the Light. The integration of many perspectives is very important, and should not be overlooked. Leo's perspective is helpful to the seeker, but it should not be taken as the Truth. The only way to arrive at the gateless gate is to pass through all the gates that took us to the gateless one. But once we pass all gates, in the end, we must deny the existence of all gates. When Leo says that he has had awakenings unlike anyone spiritual master, explicitly he tells us the Truth he has experienced, but implicitly he is telling us to deny his Truth. There is no way to go where he has been if we don't go there for ourselves. We must deny him his awakening to get to our own awakening. I know that he does this with awareness. It's not just an accident. You mentioned that you were losing Leo in the video when he talked about his most recent awakenings. Can you point out the timeframes when you were losing him? I am curious to see if I can see it for myself. I usually only listen to the audio. I get the feeling that what Leo was doing so far was chasing the Peak non-dial experiences. After each breakthrough, he was trying to stabilize at the peak of the experience, more than the ground of the experience. Going forward, perhaps it would be better to integrate the experiences and stabilize more towards the ground, otherwise, he will lose the ground with the "normal people". Also, Leo puts too much importance on the psychedelic aspect and disregards the years of work and studying that is necessary to properly understand the psychedelic experience. If some naive kids start doing 5 Meo DMT without doing the work, they will do more harm to themselves than good. I agree with you that Leo has an important role in the collective awakening, and he is playing his part the best he can. But we can't awaken the collective when the individuals are asleep. The content that he is producing is already life-changing and beneficial, and it will be terrible if he decides to take the wrong turn. I agree with you on that. But I have faith that he will stay on the right track. His Life is his own Hero Jurney, and he must rescue the Father from the belly of the whale. You can already see how much Leo has changed in the past 7 years. The transformation is amazing. I wonder where Leo sees himself in the next 7 years? Maybe its time to communicate the vision for the next 7 years? @Leo Gura
  13. Your life is a story, and you are writing it right now. @Scholar You are a Scholar, so you should try to study the story of your life. Study as you write and you will become a great Scholar.
  14. When you start to forget the past, you are starting to become more present. When you became The Present, you will have no past.
  15. You won't like my reply. You seem obsessed with your ex. What is the root cause of such dependence? Why do you believe that any guy can make you happy? Try to contemplate on this. Write a journal. Think about it. Nobody can make you happy if you are not already happy yourself. Nobody can give you love if you don't love yourself. Learn how to love yourself first, and others will follow. Learn how to be happy, so you can give happiness to others. You have created a story in your head that you need the guy to feel fulfilled. That story is fictional. You don't need him. Oftentimes, when a guy treats a girl badly, the girl feels that the guy is above her so she feels she needs him. You don't need anyone that mistreats you. You must know what you are worth but nobody can tell you what you are worth. You must know it yourself. In your posts, you are seeking attention, and that is why you are triggering some people. Try not to seek the attention of others, and give more attention to yourself. I would suggest that you read a few books on relationships. Often times, people who have written books have already solved the problems that we suffer from.
  16. @Oliver Saavedra If you haven't read Neil Gaiman's Sandman Series., you should give it a try. Deeply metaphysical with great visual storytelling.
  17. When someone creates content for mass consumption, there is always the risk that the content will be misinterpreted. The content that Leo is creating has such a great depth that this type of content was typically passed down from a single teacher to a few students. Leo doesn't know his "students". Therefore, there is a risk that one of his "students" is insane. Does that mean that the content should not be available? Look at the number of people in this thread that are defending Leo. How many people has he helped at the cost of one insane person going more insane? There are risks to everything that we do in life but some risks are worth taking. All power to him.
  18. Nice video. Part of the awakening process is falling into solipsism. There will be times in your life when everything will get perfectly aligned. You will start believing that the universe is conspiring against you. You will start to believe that everyone in your life is just acting their part. You will think its all just an act. But then you will realize that it was You that was conspiring against the universe. And then you wake up.
  19. 1. Train of thought. That is a good analogy. Think of your whole book is like a train. The train has many cabins. Think of each cabin as a chapter. Make an outline of each chapter with the main ideas about what each chapter is about. Each cabin has many seats. Think of the seat as a paragraph. Make an outline of the main idea of each paragraph. Then expand on the main point in each paragraph until you have made the original point you wanted to make in the paragraph. Keep moving from seat to seat, from paragraphs to paragraphs until you finish the chapter. Move through each chapter until you finish the book. 2. This is more about style. Find a writer with a poetic style that inspires you. Read all his books. Try to analyze how he stands out from the rest. Try to emulate him in your writing. Try to write how he writes.
  20. You don't understand his struggle. Don't make fun of it.
  21. It is not the job of the teacher to untangle your ego, it is your job. The ego will reject all external attacks, but can't reject the internal ones. You have to do the work.
  22. What specifically you wish to improve about your writing? Is it the overall style, sentence construction, depth of thought. You have to be more specific. If you are unsure what you are missing, post a paragraph here and we can try to analyze what is missing.
  23. You are constructing your identity on the level of your body. You believe that you are your body, and you want to pass the genes/memes onto your children. There is nothing wrong with that. Accept the decision that you have made based on your current level of awareness. You did the best with what you knew. Going forward, acknowledge that it is possible to increase your awareness and construct your identity on a higher level. It is possible to see the children of your neighbors as your children. It is possible to see all children in your country as your children. It is possible to see all children as your own children. It all depends on how you construct your sense of identity. It all depends on who you think You are.
  24. Why are you guys so afraid of consciousness? Why do you want to keep distracting yourselves with useless comments? Try to analyze yourself from your perspective without blaming the other. Assume the other is correct. How are you wrong?
  25. Space and time don't exist from the absolute perspective. You are perceiving things from a relative perspective. I will try to approximate the absolute but from the relative perspective. Imagine you are a photon of light. Some of the properties of a photon are that it has no mass. Can things without mass exist? Read more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photon So you are a photon of light, without mass and traveling through space. We know from Einstein that the faster you travel, the slower time gets. You travel so fast that when you reach the speed of light in a vacuum, time stops completely. When time stops, what do you perceive? Nothing You are in a vacuum, with stopped time. You don't perceive time nor space. If you are the Light, you perceive Nothing. That is a gross simplification in dumb person language, but you must grasp it yourself.
