It is perfect because it is free. All questions of determinism lead back to the question of identity. If you identify as a person, you will the will of a person. If you identify as God, you will the will of God. It is not a question of freedom, but rather a question of who we are...

Yes, that is obvious. I was just curious about how the choice for maha-samadhi appears to those who achieve it? Since they have no previous knowledge of how to do it, does the choice appear in their imagination, and only through pure will they can accept it? -

Is the "exit" done through will alone? -

Can you document your method? If you want others to properly validate your method, put some effort into properly explaining it. Make a video explaining it, or write a document. Telling everyone to not focus on their breath is not sufficient. -

The fastest way is through psychedelics. The second fastest is through direct observation. Observe for impossible coincidences that occur repeatedly. -

You are right. The stars guide the spirit, but you must first become aware of your spirit before you look at the stars. Spirituality precedes Astrology. -
An interesting conversation on the nature of Mathematical Reality. These two people are at the forefront of our understanding on Physics and Mathematics.

If having sex is legal, why should watching other people having sex be illegal? Doing something is always more fun than watching something anyways. -

1st wrong assumption: You believe that suffering is a prerequisite to becoming a yogi. Why do you believe this? 2nd wrong assumption: You assume you know the suffering of others. How do you know this? -

Writing is therapeutic. I do it when I need healing. -
@Strangeloop You are the hand that draws itself. You are the God the creates himself. What you draw, you will see. What you create, you will experience. You don't have to be alone in your experience, but if you really want it, you will be.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; -Isaiah 14 -

Your writing reminds me of the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson. You are touching the transcendent. Good job. -
There is no Right or Wrong, but thinking make it so. Enlightenment can't be attained because Enlightenment is Nothing. Nothing can't be attained, only realized. When you break all distinctions between Right/Wrong, Good/Bad, Life/Death you are left with Nothing. Nice video.

Philosophy is a school of thought in which a thinker thinks about thoughts. That is what I think.

How did you graduate first grade? You probably had a very good teacher? -

Do some random crime. You will be taken to a prison and there you will live alone, rent and food will be all paid for. Nothing to worry about except your enlightenment. Kidding. This is just a phase in your life. I bet after 1 year of isolation you will be yearning to touch the hands of others and be glad that reality can be shared, not isolated. -
Nice... I enjoyed it. Why did the shadow kill the man rather than the other way around?

Well, the affirmation must also work in English since you are hilarious. The language doesn't matter. The intention matters.

Language is an abstraction through which we get to know other minds. In that sense, we have indirect access to all minds. Do you see this text above? That is the content that exists in the mind of Leo. Now you had access to it. Now let us suppose God comes to you and gives you the power to access all minds simultaneously. However, you have to pay a price for this. The price is that everyone else in reality could also have direct access to your mind. Are you willing to pay that price? You can access the thoughts of all, only when everyone can access your mind and your thoughts. -
Every embodied act is affected by higher metaphysical values. The embodied act you can see, but the values are something that you can't see, so you must infer them. Meta-patterns usually describe the values that guide your embodied acts. For example, all big corporations typically have a hierarchical structure. That means that the CEO of the corporation is on the top of the hierarchy. The CEO can execute his personal will to the greatest extent. (Meaning the CEO can make any decision that he wills, and his decision trickles down the company ranks). If you work for the company and you are 5 levels below the CEO, this means that probably someone tells you what you need to do, and you have to do it regardless of your personal will. (otherwise, you lose your job). If you don't learn how to extricate yourself from the observation, you might get angry at the CEO for making you do a useless job that you don't want to do. The anger and disappointment will keep you stuck in your situation. But if you don't get angry and extricate yourself from your situation, you will realize that the CEO is probably smarter than you and if you ever wish to exercise higher will in the organization, you too need to become smarter so that one day you can become the CEO. Something like that.

This game sounds very familiar. Wasn't it created by God and called Reality? But jokes aside. When I was little I used to play "Rise Of Nations". It was a strategy game where you start with a prehistoric civilization and you advance it to the nuclear age. In that game, you are not a single character, but rather you have a "God" perspective on your nation and you try to advance it faster than other nations. Maybe you can use something from that game as inspiration.

This is a method for pattern discovery in reality. Your mind is trying to understand reality through observation and finding associated links between observations. The more intelligent you are, the more patterns you can discover in reality. The more patterns you discover, the more predictable you make your reality. To gain a higher conceptual understanding, you have to find meta-patterns. Meta-patterns are patterns that exist on higher level of abstraction. The best way to discover meta-patterns is to extricate yourself from the observation.

There are some things that words can't describe. Seek those indescribable things. Seek not words, but that which exists beyond words.
