I found this upload of Todd V summarizing his old approach system. He has a new one now but it’s paywalled, this is still a good talk that goes every basics every guy who is learning cold approach should consider.

Even if we go by the IDF’s own reported numbers, they’ve killed 20x the civilians in just this conflict. Their numbers are probably overestimating how many hamas are killed as well. Israel had far more time to think about their approach, this isn’t the first conflict, they’ve been dealing with Palestine for years. see here: https://www.statista.com/chart/16516/israeli-palestinian-casualties-by-in-gaza-and-the-west-bank/ Notice these were all before this conflict which has already killed nearly 30k Palestinians, hamas has not killed more civilians.

In the Afghanistan war the US used primarily targeted smart bombs and the largest was 500 lb, Israel has used mostly untargteed dumb bombs and some are 2K lbs even though they’re bombing denser civilian areas.

I found this older popular video claiming to capture singer Justin Bieber being abusive to his partner TITLE: Justin Bieber being ABUSIVE towards Hailey for 5 minutes straight [2020] For me personally the behavior doesn’t seem to be abusive and I just read it as teasing or him being in a bad mood. But it looks like thousands of girls commented saying they consider it abuse. Is it possible men and women view what is abusive differently now? Or is it just me? This seems like a problem because it could result in a lot of misunderstandings. What do you think?

But then why do they purposefully restrict calories to keep Gaza on the brink of collapse? https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSBRE89G0NM/ They also restricted basic items Hamas has made attempts at a political negotiations https://inkstickmedia.com/israel-rejected-peace-with-hamas-on-five-occasions/ but because Israel refused to negotiate they would fire rockets at them, then after Israel bombed a ceasefire would be negotiated and restrictions reduced. This creates an environment that encourages Hamas to attack Israel as they benefited from it (bombings created orphans for them to recruit and reduced restrictions after a ceasefire was negotiated), and see no other option as Israel refuses to engage with a political solution. Netanyahu and other Likud officials were already leaked as purposefully doing this to avoid a two state solution and justify further expansion. This was the policy that lead to oct 7, and if it persists will lead to more violence.

I looked into this. It seems the main reason is just high crime and alcoholism rate among that population and poor police presence. Even more indigenous men go missing for example.

1. Except they have yet to provide a realistic plan to militarily defeat Hamas, so this is justifying endless war. How many more dead children will it be worth? Should it just be indefinite until the goal is achieved? If it requires killing a million children to end Hamas should they do it? 2. ISIS was created as a result of US military actions declaring they need to not allow other extremist groups to remain active. There clearly isn’t a scenario where you indefinitely blockade and commit violence towards a population and it stops being violent. Nothing would stop another group like Hamas from forming when the acts to stop Hamas create the exact same conditions that created Hamas in the first place. 3. putting aside whoever created it, Israel is right now not making the situation better. Any objective look at the historical record shows a clear pattern of violence creating violence. Israel’s current actions will just create more violence. 4. The situation can’t be blamed on religious and old ideological reasons entirely because it has escalated. At one point the population was so passive Israel ruled the West Bank with a small force. But constant violence resulting in violence used to justify further violence and sabotaging any hope for the future made things worse and worse.

1. Why would Gazans ever agree to give up violence if after the PLO did they get treated like that? Hamas is even more popular in the West Bank now than in Gaza, there is a risk of the West Bank turning into a larger Gaza if this continue this way. A major factor in giving up military actions was the Oslo accords which gave hope for a state, this has been crushed. 2. Most military analysts and even officials in Israel’s government don’t believe Israel can defeat Hamas militarily, even if they do the amount of orphans created and the anger generated towards is Israel in Iran, Egypt, and Jordan will just result in the creation of a new violent faction as it’s creating the same conditions that caused the creation of Hamas. A large recruitment pool frustrated by occupation, and foreign backers motivated to smuggle them arms.

1. Stop the illegal occupation of the West Bank and give them a state, the PLO gave up violence long ago and they can agree to have a mutually agreed upon third party take over security, remove or at least start controlling the settlers who have murdered hundreds. A major reason why Palestinians continue to turn to violence is because Israel’s refusal for a two state solution and protecting settlers makes them see no future, this would remove that. 2. Start a cease fire in exchange for giving up Israel’s hostages in exchange for Hamas’s hostages, the war has killed dozens. And yes Israel has hostages, they legalized taking bargaining chips and hold hundreds of Palestinians without charges. https://www.amnesty.org/es/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/mde150541998en.pdf Every country in the world except for Israel and the USA has called for a cease fire, not having one has so far killed dozens of Israeli hostages and over 13k children (this is the equivalent of how many people died on 9/11 x4.3 but in just children). Not to mention the blockade and aid restriction and risking famine / causing hundreds of children to undergo amputation without anesthesia. It is barbaric and risking triggering a much larger war. 3. Propose to Hamas to turn Gaza into a state and end the illegal blockade if they agree to put down their arms and let a mutually agreed upon third party take over security. If Hamas doesn’t agree they risk being overthrown by Gazans who now see a way out and see life improving in the West Bank. 4. Have war crime trials for the leadership on both sides with a unbiased mutually agreed upon third party court. 5. Iran proposed to turn the Middle East into a nuclear free zone, Israel should offer to take them up on it if they let Israel make a peace treaty with Hezbollah. Right now Israel is one of the biggest risks of triggering a nuclear conflict because they have uninspected nukes and have war risk with many border states.

If I am understanding right you’re saying 15,000 killed are civilians and 10,000 killed are Hamas, with the overall dead being around 25,000. But we also know 16,000 of the dead are women and children. Assuming they aren’t Hamas, that would mean every man killed was Hamas. Seems pretty unlikely.
