You’re basically saying we should continue to escalate with Russia because they will continue to escalate with us. What exactly is the evidence for that? What if it’s wrong, and this is creating the issue in the first place.

They are supported by US government and US companies

There are protests. They’re not that common because democrats are extremely demoralized right now. I don’t think protests are that useful. A better move is organizing a political advocacy group and going door to door / calling to find people who aren’t active and convince them.

Trump is exploding the national security establishment. From forcing a ceasefire in Gaza revealing the US could have at any time, to openly admitting the US was supporting Israel doing ethnic cleansing, to now pushing for peace in Ukraine which is making Europe panic as they had gone along with US pressure to push for continuing the Ukraine war, if the ceasefire is achieved now by stopping Ukraine joining NATO and remaining neutral and Russia doesn’t keep pushing it’ll collapse their entire narrative that the war was necessary to stop future Russian aggression and wasn’t because of NATO expansion. Because of their opposition to Trump and Russiaphilic far right European parties, the mainstream left in the US and Europe reflexively comes hard against all of these moves, unwittingly positioning themselves as the hawkish pro-war parties to the masses who have grown more skeptical of wars of Choice and isolationist. The big fear I have is that this abandoning of Europe and trying to quiet the Middle East is in order to direct aggression on Asia to stop a rising China. If China responds in kind it can quickly spiral into disaster.

You’ve bought NATO propaganda completely to the point where you don’t engage with any other perspective because you consider it Russian propaganda. They were also saying Ukraine is winning, what happened to that? If they can lie to you about that they can lie to you about other things.

His antics may have killed Canada’s conservative parties momentum -
That’s ridiculous. There are plenty of non-trump supporting men in Florida. And plenty of trump supporting men in nyc.

It’s a neo nazi documentary. It’s nonsense. -

I gave you the benefit of the doubt earlier but it’s clear this is larp. I’m guessing the trump regret thread from last week was also.

What you are not considering is: Women clearly want to be objectified to some degree. Women enhance their own attractiveness and seek out the desire of men. If a woman receives none she will feel left out and offended. The same woman who wears a skimpy outfit to the club and complains about drunk guys hitting on her, would be devastated if she goes out and all night no one approached her and they just approached her friends. This is essentially what the average man’s experience is, his sexuality is not valued. Male sexuality is also demonized. Unless he does it smoothly in the right context it is often demoniz3d as predatory or a nuisance. Men are objectified in their own way, usually as “success” objects or “entertainment”. Because men are expected to provide and intimate they feel like they have to put on a song and dance and prove their worth to women who just sit and judge them, and decide their worth based on their personal success.

Because that goes without saying, they can spend all day talking about how they admire femininity and it won’t make them any closer to attracting a woman.

If that was true Russia would have begun the military buildup before invading Ukraine, not prior. Russia trying to take on NATO would be suicidal.
-
1) what if part of the ceasefire agreement involves Russia reducing its military capacity? Would you still think that is there goal? 2) so what is the alternate, just keep throwing Ukrainians at them hoping to bleed them out more before Ukraine runs out?

I don’t see how Europe can take a leadership role when currently they let America bully them and in many ways they are declining even further in influence. I’d prefer their leadership to America but I don’t see it happening,

Talking to them is a bad idea. Just get a lawyer.

And why does that matter? A government being authoritarian does not automatically make its positions wrong. Their internal authoritarianism is their internal issue, it doesn’t mean they are automatically on the wrong side of every foreign policy issue.

The idea that Europe can’t defend itself is silly, Russia is having so much trouble with Ukraine now imagine if all the other European countries were also fighting with them. Regardless Russia has no interest to take on Europe directly as a direct conflict with NATO could easily escalate to nuclear war and destroy human civilization. Russian bots are a minor issue compared to mainstream outlets that hold water for US and NATO propaganda, which has been far more damaging.

I never said they would

It does matter because Ukraine remaining neutral limits its military coordination with the US and if they try to use Ukraine as a launch pad for attacks Russia can attack it without triggering article 5 if it’s not in NATO The US has overthrown countless democratic leaders. Russia is a dictatorship, so that does nothing to assuage their fears. US overthrowing a dictator often lead to less peace. it’s the opposite, Ukraine was fine when it was neutral, trying to incorporate it into NATO has wrecked an entire generation of Ukrainians They invaded Chechnya because they feared a domino of independence movements. Ukraine was their fears coming true. NATO is largely funded by the US and defends its interests Then you are naive, the US has toppled governments and invaded counties that posed no security threat to it especially in Latin America, they would be highly aggressive to a border country engaging with a direct rival China wouldn’t do that because China is sane enough to realize it shouldn’t try baiting wars with great powers outside of its circle of influence. Though if the security competition between China and thenUS a heats up its entirely possible they ape US strategy to try and get the US bogged down in wars to weaken it as the US a has done to Russia twice now. Russias economy is already growing under sanctions. If according to you they would lift some sanctions that indicates better prospects of growth. If no one cares about Ukraine joining NATO they would reject its membership. World leaders have said multiple times they plan on admitting Ukraine into NATO. The US was pushing for Ukraine in NATO for years. Russia probably wants to control four oblasts as a buffer and have guarantees of a demilitarized neutral Ukraine
