  1. lol im not whining about that, I am making a point of how socially retarded he is writing an email to ask someone out leaves a digital trail. If he is as intelligent in human nature as he is in business and lobbying, he would have asked to her to have a coffee with him to discuss something related to work. Spend time getting to know them, and if he felt anything, go further. Heck, if he wanted a good fuck he would spend a few hundred thousand dollars on a party, hire a super hot escort to the party to raise his status and then girls would be more interested in him. There are so many ways for the dude to get laid in much easier ways than an awkward email from your boss. Dude could even spend money and hire Tony Robbins to coach him on how to develop himself in communicating and getting girls but Billy isn't the type to do that. They just don't build people with everything; Bill Gates has a few screws loose, is what I am trying to say. I'm not insisting he is inauthentic I am just making a point that people perceive him that way.
  2. Every time Bill Gates opens his mouth, he doesn't sound authentic because he doesn't have the emotional intelligence to understand people. He's been living from the outside so much that I don't think he can communicate with his heart. This makes him hard to trust, which is why he was such a retard talking to people such as asking girls out. He was reported several times for sending weird emails asking his female employees out for dinner. I don't think he can ever fix himself because he's living in such a bubble being so rich. Even if his intentions are good he would not know how to get it out that way
  3. The airline industry and airports are good examples of how unionization can be negative. Workers abuse power as much as bosses do.
  4. Good looking guy. Great communicator. He's nowhere near the level of a Eckhart Tolle like figure but he has a place in the world. He's a good entry point for people in self help.
  5. I do not have a lot of faith that he spoke to Gabor Mate. The video looks like someone just made a video to get some money because the world is fascinated with some dude that hit the sperm lottery.
  6. The media on both sides loved Trump because they gave him ratings. He trolled the left well, and the right loved him for that. The left made it easy for him because they never authentically addressed the issues he was talking about. If they looked inside enough, admitted to them, and put the effort to change, then Trump would have lost. Instead, they felt shame and weren't brave enough to change because that change would require them to clean up their party. The democratic party would rather have Trump than Bernie Sanders or Marianne Williamson. This is why the left is losing trust; they aren't losing as much because they would rather have an "anyone but Trump" mentality. If they gave Bernie or Marianne Williamson a fair and equal platform as they did with Biden, January 6th would not have happened and if we had Marianne Williamson we probably wouldn't have funded 100++ billion to Ukraine.
  7. These things are bound to happen because, presently in our society, the focus on materialism and the outside world is the focus. We will be lucky as a whole to see the tide shift into the inner world in the next 20-30 years. The marketing dollars being spent are designed to keep people distracted, and deep down inside, it's what people want the most, that's why it is given to them.
  8. lol this whole jail thing can be a scam, how is he posting in jail if his lawyer doesn't have access to him????
  9. Its entirely possible, but they still need to allow him to get medical checkups even if he is bluffing
  10. I hope she runs; she seems to be the most authentic democrat compared to AOC, Major Pete, Biden, Hillary.
  11. @PenguinPablo People in prison deserve to get treatment for their diseases as any living person should.
  12. Even if they do not find any evidence, there needs to be something done to prevent leaks from happening in the future because, for humanity a possible leak can be more fatal than the issue of global warming. Nature can be cruel but man can be crueler.
  13. You are correct on that, but since then, the democrats have been gaining ground and power because of education and tech. Before that, the right had control of energy and raw materials, which pretty much ruled most of the 1900s from the 90s; the power of the intellect has played a bigger part up until now. We also have seen exponential growth in medicine, which gives a lot of power to universities. The military-industrial has caught wind of this and has been pretty much buying the left since then. They own both sides, but the left just has more influence, so the democrats have been their focus. The bigger irony is libertarians are funding weapons companies by investing into them. The left media seems to support the Ukraine war more, and their children are probably serving in the military. The right seems to be against the Ukraine war a little more, but they will be the first to march when the military leaders tell them to.
  14. @Blackbeat If you are talking about the Buddha as a historical figure, no one would ever know. His followers transcribed his teachings, and they were passed on thru time. This makes it highly possible that there could have been misunderstandings and mutations thru time. If you are talking about the Buddha as an embodiment of the Dhamma, then the interpretation of right or wrong with Buddha's teaching is entirely up to your own perceptions. The critique people like Leo or anyone have on Buddhism is based on what they interpret thru teachers and text
  15. The left creates the war; the right fights them.
  16. Well, there is evidence depending on who you are talking to. If a person made millions to billions, they would say it's everyone's fault they were not educated enough to make money while it was there. If you are in the rust belt, rationing your medication, and had a brother die of an opioid overdose because pharma was pushing them on the streets, then you definitely would say it was completely negative.
  17. No, what I am saying is if there is a movement, it cant be centralized by a strong leader, a vision that is central on ideas rather than charismatic people. The central idea of democracy. There could have been better ways than what they did. Much of the printed money was used overseas, like in China, to make them wealthier. They could have created conditions to American corporations to use their liquidity to enrich more Americans. Half of the money could have gone to infrastructure. Infrastructure that would have prevented the Ohio train accident that recently happened. I have traveled all over China. There are so many places in China that make most of America look like a 3rd world country. Personally, I would rather have Obama over Trump, but I'm making a point that his policies gave the right FUEL to get taken by Trump. The American citizens deserve as much blame as any president. The people always get the leaders they deserve... once consciousness rises we will get better leaders. My hippy solution would be to create bonds to create small businesses, primarily focusing more money on businesses that improve society thru education. Local farms. Use the printed money to open up small local banks that build relationships with the community.
  18. All the government had to do from the start was say, this theory is plausible, and we are deploying X amount of people and X amount of dollars to investigate this. Then following up by creating international laws on bioweapons and gain of function research so this kind of thing doesn't happen in the future.
  19. Im saying if there were a strong leader to rally against the status quo like a MLK or even someone greater like a 2nd coming of Christ the status quo would feel threatened. Imagine if there were a person to get people to realize that buying shit they don't need is the way to live? Apple sales worldwide drops to 50% 80%? Parties dissolve, and every politician gets replaced? How far would people be willing to go to make sure that doesn't happen to them? The superficial optics and policies he created and bailing out Wall Street made California and New York extremely rich and the middle of America left with an opioid crisis. This created space for Trump to take advantage of these people, so he rallied in these towns, places the democratic party overlooked. The democratic party was the father that ran away, and Trump became the abusive father who at least showed up. The language that Obama spoke to the world was the truth, and he definitely helped America's image but the method of his solutions didn't enrich the entire nation, just a small part of it. He never pointed out his shortcomings and explained to America why he felt he had to do things like that so he created Trump
  20. They are only bringing up the lab leak because it meets their agenda to start a war with China. They should not have discredited this theory because many countries have been making bioweapons for a long time. Gain of function research has also been admitted way before the pandemic, it's not a far-fetched idea that a virus can just "accidentally" come out. I hope in the future, if this same problem arises, voices are not censored, and scientific inquiry becomes a thing rather than outsourcing the problem to one company when the actual solution brings them profit. Finding a cure would probably be much faster if they can find the source of the problem.
  21. The media is all ran from big money and the ability for people to work together without governments, corporations being involved is nearly impossible. The problem is the people are not organized enough and well-educated enough to create change. Expecting a figure like Martin King Jr to come along to get people more organized won't work because they would probably shoot that person in the head; a movement that doesn't rely on a singular person needs to happen. People were so hopeful of Obama realized nothing changed, which is why Trump happened.
  22. @Danioover9000 Most people would rather have healthy, loving relationships, but that takes a lot more work than watching porn and even going after casual sex. Very much like people who would love to have a fit chiseled body but do not want to put in the work for it. Having sex with someone you love feels a lot better than masturbating or having a one-night stand. The real solution is not a viable one for most humans on this planet.
  23. @Ulax Ive listened to Yanis Varoufakis for several hours. I am more interested in psychology and sociology. I used to listen to Sam Richards from Penn State a lot. Political science, to me, is an offshoot of sociology in how its structured academia. If it were structured like it is in real life, it would be structured on how to get people to do what you want to favor your macro agenda; there would be a specialized module on lobbying, creating proxy wars, and destabilizing businesses and countries. The truth is money and business run our countries; the solution would be for citizens to rely on each other more and not rely on big business and politicians. People will never get their way if they outsource the government heavily.
